*ENJOY YOUR LIFE.*

Tuesday, August 25th.

Pastor Chris

_*Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy (1 Timothy 6:17).*_

You can have and enjoy your best life now. You don’t have to wait for the government of your country to set things right and make society conducive before you enjoy your life. Enjoying your life is a choice you have to make for yourself, if you really want to have God’s best today and for all time.

Life is a gift, and a calling from God. Everything in life, including the world around you, was created for your benefit. All you need to enjoy life to the full is to be yourself and stay in God’s Word. Jesus said, _*“…I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)”*& (John 10:10 AMPC). Think about that!

God has richly given you all things to enjoy. 2 Peter 1:3 says, _*“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.”*_ Enjoy your life to the full; everything you require to that effect has been given to you.

Paul said in 1 Corinthians 3:21, _*“…all things are yours.”*_ We also read that God has given you richly (not sparsely) ALL things to ENJOY. What you need is to spend time in the Word, to know what’s yours in Christ Jesus, so you can live by His Word and enjoy your life to the full, for His glory.

*YOUR RESPONSE IS THE DIFFERENCE! 🤗*

Irrespective of what you may go through,What makes the difference is your response!

1 Timothy 6:17 NIV; Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.

Matthew 11:28-30 AMPC Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good—not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne.

TUESDAY AUGUST 25

*Be Fruitful and Productive with the Word of God (2)*

*Romans 10:6-9 ( GNB )*

*But what the Scripture says about being put right with God through faith is this: “You are not to ask yourself, Who will go up into heaven?” (that is, to bring Christ down). “Nor are you to ask , Who will go down into the world below?”(that is, to bring Christ up from death). What it says is this: “God’s message is near you, on your lips and in your heart”—— that is, the message of faith that we preach. If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from death, you will be saved.*

Yesterday we began studying about how God wants us to be fruitful and productive with His word, just like the master who gave his servants talents expected them to be fruitful and productive with the talents he gave them. In Matthew 25:25 , the servant that did not make good use of his talent said, “I was afraid, so I went off and hid your money in the ground. Look ! Here is what belongs to you.” In the same way, one of the reasons that some believers do not make use of God’s word is because of fear. As the servant with the one talent did not value the talent he had , so many believers do not place value on the word of God that they have. They feel what they know is not good or powerful enough and instead of speaking and acting on God’s word that they know , they start waiting for who will come and ‘bring Christ down for them’.

Our text above says the word is near you. It is on your lips and it is in your heart. God has put it there. Open your mouth and declare the word of God that you know. Reflect in your mind and remember the word of God that you once heard. The Holy Spirit will bring God’s word to your remembrance, John 14:26. As you make use of the word of God that you know, you will grow and you will know more. The Bible says that God’s word will not return to Him void. It must accomplish the purpose for which God sent it, Isaiah 55:11. The word of God will produce results in your life. If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can move mountains , Luke 17:6. The same thing applies when it comes to preaching the gospel to someone. Do not feel like the word of God that you know is not enough. Open your mouth and speak the word of God that you know and the Holy Spirit will use it to touch and bless the life of that person.

*Prayer:*

I thank you Heavenly Father for the grace that you have given to value and make use of your word in me to address situations and preach to others

Good morning friends of God.

GREATEST SELF–LIMITATION

“Now the angel of the LORD came and sat under the terebinth tree which was in Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, while his son Gideon threshed wheat in the winepress, in order to hide it from the Medianites. And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him, and said to him, ‘The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor!’ Gideon said to him, “O my lord, if the LORD is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about, saying, ‘Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the LORD has forsaken us and delivered us into the hands of the Medianites.” Then the LORD turned to him and said, ‘Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Medianites. Have I not sent you?’ So he said to him, ‘O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.’ And the LORD said to him, ‘Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat the Medianites as one man.’” Judges 6:11–16 (NKJV)

It is important to note that most limitations are self-imposed, self-allowed, self-cultivated and self-created. As evidenced in today’s scripture, the Angel saw Gideon as a mighty man of valor, he saw himself as the weakest and least in his father’s house. How you see yourself defines you more than how others see you. For the fact that you had a negative experience does not make you any less.

Never see yourself contrary from how heaven sees you – a mighty man or woman of valor. You are not who God has not called you. One of the greatest self-limitations you will ever have is self-doubt. You drown yourself when you doubt yourself. When you see nothing good about yourself, life will bring you nothing good. Any situation can change, except for the fact that a lot of people have deceived themselves about their situation. They felt they are not good enough for business, they felt they are not good enough for their spouse, they felt they are not good enough to promote the Kingdom of God on earth, they felt they are not good enough to break-free from poverty. Never see yourself less than God sees you, you limit yourself doing so.

ACTION STEP
See yourself as God sees you.

KEEP IN MIND
How you see yourself defines you more than how others see you.V

[8/25, 9:03 AM] Faith Oshevire: SEEDS OF DESTINY DAILY DEVOTIONAL

TUESDAY 25TH August 2020

By Pastor Paul Enenche

TOPIC: LIVING WITH ETERNITY IN VIEW

Living with eternity in view is living prepared. It is not trying to get prepared; you are already prepared!

SCRIPTURE: For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come. Hebrews 13:14 (NLT)

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To live with eternity in view is to know that you have a home beyond the earth.

Recently, I preached two messages on the end time. The titles of these messages are, “Surviving the Last Days” and “Living with Eternity in View”.

Also Read: Open Heaven 25 August 2020 – Speak Up!

Now, when we hear a statement like, “Living with eternity in view”, many times, people don’t understand exactly what it means.

That is why, today, I will like us to see what it means to live with eternity in view.

1. Living in the present with the end in mind.
Living with eternity in view is living in this present time with the end in mind. It is living in the present with the end in perspective (1 Peter 4:7). That is to say, even though you are alive today, the end is on your mind.

2. Living and conducting our life’s actions with eternity as major consideration.
Living with eternity in view is asking yourself questions like: “Where will my life end with what I am doing now? Where will this particular action or lifestyle lead me to in the end?” Living with eternity in view is living and conducting our life’s actions with eternity as the major consideration. It is knowing that everything we do on earth has eternal implications (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14); it is knowing that earthly actions have eternal consequences.

3. Living in the NOW with readiness and preparedness for eternity.
Living with eternity in view is living prepared. It is not trying to get prepared; you are already prepared (Matthew 25:13, Matthew 24:44-45)

Living with eternity in view is living with readiness and preparedness for eternity.

4. Living as strangers and pilgrims in the earth.
It is living with the full knowledge that this world is not your home (1 Peter 2:11). Living with eternity in view is knowing that you have a home beyond the earth.

5. Living in the world without forgetting yourself in the world.
Many people forget themselves in this world by the way they do things; they do not look unto Jesus (Philippians 3:20). They have forgotten who they are and where they are going. Living with eternity in view is living as a citizen of heaven while on earth.

Remember this: Living with eternity in view is knowing that you have a home beyond the earth.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Be conscious of eternity in all that you say or do.
2. Live as a stranger and pilgrim in the earth.

3. Never forget yourself in the world.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for the constant revelation of Your Word to me. I receive the grace to live my life with eternity in view Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
