[6/26, 5:25 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: MESSAGE FROM:

*Rev. Anthony Akinmoyo,*
Lifeway Christian Centre,

John 13:34 (KJV)
*A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.*

Love is a commandment that is independent of the action or inaction of other people. This love is unconditional. We are to love all irrespective of who they are or what they are doing. One may then ask, where is the place of the Ten Commandments in our dispensation? Considering the way some brethren are taking the mystery of grace into lasciviousness, by saying that law is no longer relevant in our dispensation. The totality of the ten commandments are summed up in one which is love. keeping the commandment of love will keep you from breaking other commandments. As it is written in the book of Romans 13:10, love is the fulfilling of the law. That means, if I love you, I cannot steal from you. If I love you, I cannot kill you. Love will not allow me to pull my neighbor down.

A thorough study of love will reveal to us that it is more stringent in the New Testament than the Old Testament.

Leviticus 19:18 (KJV)
*…but thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: I am the LORD.*

The new order of love in the New Testament in John 13:34 says “love one another, as I have loved you” not just as we wish to love ourselves but as Christ loved us and gave Himself for us. The same way, we need to love our neighbours.

1 John 4:11 (KJV)
*Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.*

I believe that is why Jesus prayed for us in John 17:26 for the capacity to love the same way God loves us.

John 17:26 (KJV)
*And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.*

God’s love toward us is irreversible. It is an everlasting love.

Jeremiah 31:3 (KJV)
*The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.*

God’s love toward mankind is everlasting. He does not fall out of love with us. That is why when we were yet sinners, He died for us. Not for His friends but His enemies. That is just the same way God wants us to relate with our world.

Though, over the years, man has constantly been walking out of God’s love by his personal will power. God’s love remains constant. His mercies endure every situation and circumstance forever.
We are to imitate God the same way children imitate their parents. We are to act like Him, respond to issues like Him. In other words, our entire lifestyle must be reflecting His nature, which is love. When men see us, they must see God (Love) in us. Jesus said, if you have seen me, you have seen my Father.

John 14:9 (KJV)
*…he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?*

That should be our testimony.

1. Psalms 115:12 (KJV)
*The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.*

Thank you my heavenly Father for always being mindful of me.

2. Thank you my Father for keeping me as the apple of your eyes.

6. Ephesians 3:17 (KJV)
*That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,*

7. 1 Thessalonians 3:12 (KJV) *And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:*

i. O Lord my God, help me to see you in every human being in the mighty name of Jesus!

ii. Empower me, my heavenly Father to continually walk in love towards everyone in the mighty name of Jesus!

8. Deuteronomy 2:36 (KJV) *… there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us:*

ii. O Lord my Father open my eyes to see divine opportunities you are bringing my way in the mighty name of Jesus!

10. Isaiah 45:2 (KJV)
*I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:*

O Lord my God, arise and break every barrier between me and my inheritance in Jesus mighty name!

11. Psalms 80:15 (KJV)
*And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that thou madest strong for thyself.*

O Lord my God, plant my sons and daughters by your Spirit and cause them to flourish in life in the mighty name of Jesus!

12. Psalms 112:2 (KJV)
*His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.*

i. O Lord my Father, grant me my heart desire over my children in the mighty name of Jesus!

16. Isaiah 37:35 (KJV)
*For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.*

O Lord my Father, fortify and defend the destinies of my children against all the manipulation of the wicked in the mighty name of Jesus!

Thank you Father for working exceedingly and abundantly above all that I ask or think.

Thank you Father for the uncommon results and answers.

Receive my thanks and praise in the mighty name of Jesus!

See you tomorrow,
1 Thessalonians 5:16-17 (KJV)
*Rejoice evermore.*
*Pray without ceasing.*

Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry. 2 Timothy 4:11

READ: Acts 13:1-3

1. Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

Everyone from the beginning of creation has openly or secretly desired to be significantly relevant within their family or society. The serpent’s offer to eve had the undertone of increased relevance, King Saul sought to kill David because the women sang that the young boy’s victory was greater than his.

To be significantly relevant is highly desirable; indeed, it is our God-given right. However, the pursuit for relevance has pushed many- Christians inclusive, into sinful, criminal and even diabolical acts. Psalm 75:6-7 says:
“ For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.”

In my opinion, the Church is not in short supply of Christian workers but rather, has a dearth of faithful laborers. I have always told my children in the ministry that “When you do the work of God in the way it should be done, what you will eat will not be a prayer point.” This God is committed to the business of those who are in turn committed to His. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). If you want to be significantly relevant in life, ministry or both, just make up your mind to serve Him faithfully, and your promotion will come sooner than you can imagine.

As a faithful steward in the vineyard, you have to be focused on your own mandate and never use another man’s parameter to evaluate your life or service to God. To be focused is to have a target and to work towards actualizing it. The business of God requires urgency. John 9:4 says “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” The Lord will reward your labor of love in His vineyard, make you significantly relevant in this world and also compensate you handsomely in eternity.

Father, please help me serve You faithfully for the rest of my life, in the mighty name of Jesus.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Kings 17-19

1. Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.
o Refrain:
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior all the day long.

2. Perfect submission, perfect delight,
Visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
Angels, descending, bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

3. Perfect submission, all is at rest,
I in my Savior am happy and blest,
Watching and waiting, looking above,
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.

[6/26, 5:27 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: Today’s SOD – 2020-06-25

SCRIPTURE: And it shall come to pass,”if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth”: Deuteronomy 28:1

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Anywhere you find yourself,”if the hand of God is on you, you are to be on top.

Yesterday, we saw that it is God’s unchangeable plan for us to exist as kings on the earth. We also saw one of the dimensions of dominion and authority God has positioned us to occupy. Today, we are going to see yet another dimension”:

We are kings in the realm of release of potential and fulfilment of assignment.

We were created and destined to occupy the top of the ladder in our endeavours (Deuteronomy 28:1-2). And Deuteronomy 28:13 says,”And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath…. So, if your calling is pastoring, you are to be on top spiritually. You are higher than any native doctor, witch, wizard or occultist. Daniel was in charge of the astrologers and magicians in Babylon (Daniel 5″:11). If your calling is to be a medical doctor,”lawyer, business person, etc., you are destined to be a star in that field.

Beloved, anywhere you find yourself, if the Hand of God is on you, you are to be on top. It is an abomination for a godless person to excel above you where you work. It is an abomination for a godless person to be better than you in your endeavour; it is an abuse of association with the Name of the Living God. If you look at the Scripture, you would see that in the days of Joseph, no one was better than him. In the days of Job, Job was on top. In the days of Daniel, Daniel was distinguished. Esther also stood out exceptionally in her days.

Beloved, there are two groups of people in the world”: the best of them and the rest of them. I see you move from being among the rest of them to becoming the best of them,”in Jesus’ Name.

So, you must determine today to stand out in anything you do.

Remember this”: Anywhere you find yourself,”if the hand of God is on you, you are to be on top.

1. Give God the praise for where you are now in your field and make demands on God’s help to move higher.

2. Study extensively around your profession or your field of assignment on earth.

3. Dare to take strategic steps that will leave an indelible mark on the sands of time.

PRAYER: Lord,”all I am and all I am going to be, is by Your grace. I ask for Your help to be the best in what I do to the glory of Your Name, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: You cannot do ordinary things and expect extraordinary results. Culled from 30 SECRETS TO THE TOP by Dr Paul Enenche.

AMAZING FACT: Bees normally buzz in the key of A,”but when they are tired, they buzz in the key of E.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD”: In the Name of Jesus, the star in you shall rise. You shall take your place in the land of the living in Jesus’ Name.
