SCRIPTURE: Wherefore also we pray always for you,”that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power”: 2 Thessalonians 1:11

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: No lazy Christian can have strong faith.

Sometime ago,”I read an amazing story about the Chinese bamboo from John Mason in his book, The Enemy Called Average. According to John Mason, the Chinese bamboo can grow up to ninety feet in height, but for it to grow to that impressive height; it must be watered daily for five years. Now, while watering it for those five years, the growth will not be noticed in the intervening years before the fifth year, but in the fifth year, it will grow to ninety feet within five weeks.

Research shows that if you fail to water the tree one day within those five years, it would not grow to reach the expected height in the fifth year. You cannot expect it to grow well in the fifth year until a daily work of watering it is done consistently for five years.

The question is, did the Chinese bamboo grow to ninety feet in five weeks only? No! it grew in five years five weeks. That is how the walk of faith is. It requires consistent work and patience. Maybe you are feeding and fuelling your faith but it appears you are not seeing the results you expect to see, keep on feeding it; keep firing on. Maybe you are declaring the Scriptures and it looks like you are not seeing any result yet, keep on declaring. Maybe you are paying your tithe, sowing seeds, giving sacrifices, etc. but it appears like there is no harvest yet; keep on sowing and giving. A time will come, and like it is with the Chinese bamboo, you will suddenly begin to see the results of all your efforts.

Beloved, keep working on your faith. The truth is, no lazy Christian can have strong faith. It was Gloria Copeland who aptly said that there can be no victory for the lazy. So, keep building your faith with God’s Word. Do not allow unnecessary materials, internet chaffs, etc. that have no spiritual value occupy your heart. The presence of the chaff is the absence of the grain. And when the seed (God’s Word) is absent, the weed grows in abundance.

Remember this”: No lazy Christian can have strong faith.

1. Determine never to give up on your faith in God.

2. Increase your level of faith in God and increase your degree of commitment to all your endeavours.

3. Pick up messages on faith by Dr Paul Enenche from the Dunamis Bookshop or online stores and listen to them for the construction of your faith.

PRAYER: Lord,”I trust You every moment of the way. I will wait on You until my expected change comes, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: The strength of your faith in God determines the security of your destiny. When your faith is weak,”your destiny is not secured.Culled from “15 KINGDOM STRATEGIES FOR SURVIVAL” by Dr Paul Enenche.

AMAZING FACT”: Baboons have a “language” of more than 30 sounds. They also communicate through actions such as shrugging and lip smacking.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: Fresh light to fuel your faith to the next level is released in Jesus’ Name.

[6/29, 5:35 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: MESSAGE FROM:

*Rev. Anthony Akinmoyo,*
Lifeway Christian Centre,

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV) *To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:*

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (TLB) *There is a right time for everything:*

The closest companion of faith is patience. One thing is to be armed with all the promises of God concerning your life and another is to know when God has appointed for each to come to pass. Be reminded that it is God that has promised, it is Him that will still perform it and not our anxiety and worry. Beloved, as long as it is the Lord that promised, it is noble to wait for Him, because He will surely perform it at His own appointed time.

1 Thessalonians 5:24 (KJV)
*Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.*

Everyone who is trying to fulfill the promise and purpose of God with the arm of the flesh will end up prolonging their time. Some even end in frustration.

Hebrews 10:36 (TLB)
*You need to keep on patiently doing God’s will if you want him to do for you all that he has promised.*

Moses was born as a deliverer of the people of God. He was destined to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, but when he moved before the time appointed, he became a fugitive in the wilderness for forty years. Some of the things many people are going through now wouldn’t have been needful if they had exercised a little patience and waited for God’s time. Impatience can lead to a life time of regret. Do not marry outside of God’s will because of pressure, *Job 14:14.* Do not put your hands on dirty deals because of breakthrough. Remember it is the blessing of God that makes rich. *Pro10:22.* Don’t destroy any one because of position, for promotion is from the Lord. *Ps 3:3, Ps 75:6.*
No matter the gravity of the pressure, receive grace not to compromise.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 (KJV) *He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.*

Gehazi never waited for his own time of manifestation when men will be sowing seed into his life, when honorarium would have been the order of the day. He rushed to Naaman to collect money, and his master, Prophet Elisha, asked him if it was time to collect.

2 Kings 5:26 (KJV)
*And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and olive yards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants?*

He destroyed his calling, ministry, life and at the end, the generation after him because of impatience.

2 Kings 5:27 (KJV)
*The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed forever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.*

Beloved, wait for your appointed time in order to save yourself, children and generation after you. No one lives and die for himself alone. Whatever decision you make today will have implication on generations after you. Patience produces wisdom.

Hebrews 12:1 (KJV)
*…let us run with patience the race that is set before us.*

1. Thank you Father for the gift of life and of a new day.

2. Thank you Father for the safety of my family and relations.

3. Thank you father for your mercy that is new again this morning.

4. Thank you my Lord for the blessing of your word I received this morning.

5.Psalms 104:19 (NLT) *You made the moon to mark the seasons and the sun that knows when to set.*

O Lord my God, help me to understand my seasons in your divine calendar in Jesus mighty name!

6.1Chronicles 12:32 (KJV)
*And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.*

O Lord my God grant me understanding of every season of my life so as to know what to do per time in Jesus mighty name!

7. Psalm 37:7 (KJV)
*Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.*

O Lord my Father release upon me grace, wisdom and maturity to wait on you always in Jesus mighty name!

8. Psalm 37:34
*Wait on the LORd, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.*

O Lord my Father, give me grace to live uprightly in my waiting season in Jesus mighty name!

9. Genesis 1:4 (KJV) *And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.*

1 Peter 2:9 (KJV) *… that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:*

O Lord my God, separate my day and life from every form of darkness in Jesus mighty name!

10. Psalms 107:14 (KJV) *He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.*

O Lord my God call out my destiny, career, business, ministry out of darkness in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

11. Psalms 90:17 (KJV) *And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.*

O Lord my Father, beautify my destiny to attract multitude to your kingdom in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

12. Psalms 89:4 (KJV) *Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations.* Selah.

O Lord my Father, establish my children, let them not depart from thee forever in Jesus Mighty Name!

13. O Lord my Father, never allow my children to follow strange gods in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

14. Psalms 31:16 (KJV) *Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies’ sake.*

i. O Lord my God, cause your face to shine on our nation in Jesus mighty name!

ii. O Lord my God cause your face to shine on my family in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

Thank you Father for working exceedingly and abundantly above all that I ask or think.

Thank you Father for uncommon results and answers.

Receive my thanks and praise in the mighty name of Jesus!

See you tomorrow,
*Rejoice evermore.*
*Pray without ceasing.*
1 Thess 5:16-17.

[6/29, 5:35 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: It’s never too late for God

Monday 29th June 2020

‘I have seen what they do, but I will heal them anyway!’ Isaiah 57:18 NLT

Are you asking, ‘Is it too late for God to do something with me?’ It’s never too late for God! In Scripture we read about broken people God raised up in marvellous ways. He used Moses, a murderer, to deliver the Hebrew slaves. He used Jacob, a liar and a trickster, to fulfil his promise to Abraham. He even included Rahab, a harlot, in the messianic family line. And if God redeemed them, he can redeem you too.

Brokenness should never keep you bound. Rather, it should release you into a life of freedom. A truly broken person understands the reality of John 15:5 (NLT), where Jesus said, ‘Apart from me you can do nothing’. A broken person who has learned to depend on God is a force to be reckoned with. When you’re looking at a past strewn with failures, it’s difficult to see a bright future, just as it’s difficult to drive when you’re looking in the rear-view mirror. You need to glance in your rear-view mirror occasionally, but if you keep focusing on it you’ll end up hurting yourself and others. That’s why the windscreen is so much bigger than the rear-view mirror – it shows you where you’re heading instead of where you’ve been!

When you turn to God he will forgive you, restore you and use you for his purposes. He said, ‘I have seen what they do, but I will heal them anyway! I will lead them. I will comfort those who mourn, bringing words of praise to their lips’ (Isaiah 57:18-19 NLT). The word for today is – it’s never too late for God!

*Breaking forth to Bring forth part 1*

*Text*: Isa 66:8
” _Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labour, (travail) she gave birth to her children._ ”

To bring forth requires a breaking forth. It is both a spiritual and a natural law. For a pregnant woman to bring forth her child, her water must break. There is no bringing forth until there is a breaking forth. It is written, ” _For as soon as Zion travailed, she gave birth to her children._ ” For your life to avail to anything significant, you must travail in breaking forth.

Greatness resides in the womb of opportunities. It requires a breaking for its manifestation. What eyes have not seen and ears have not heard are only brought to manifestations in the place of prayerful labour. 1 Corinth 2:9 says, ” _But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him._ ” You have a great destiny ahead of you. God has prepared strange things in righteousness for you that eyes have not seen, nor ears heard nor has anyone thought of it. But you must break forth to bring them forth.

Gold and other precious stones are not located in the surface. If you must find treasures, you must travail in the deep to bring them forth. Nothing precious lies in the periphery. Your life is precious, go further than just scratching the surface. Remember, Zion travailed before she brought forth her children. The beautiful future that you desire can only be secured in the place of breaking forth.
Say with me, my future is bright and I will get there.

Shalom* !
