Morning Devition

[11/23, 5:45 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: *LIFE AND FAVOUR*

*Rev. Anthony Akinmoyo,*
Lifeway Christian Centre,

Ecclesiastes 4:1 (KJV)
*So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter.*

Under the Old testament, the power was residing with the devil because of Adam’s disobedience. He used it mercilessly against mankind. The above scripture says power was on the side of the oppressor for the singular reason “there was no comforter” for the oppressed.

Any one who steps outside the covenant has erred into the hand of the devil. In fact, they lamented that the comforter was far from them.

Lamentations 1:16 (KJV)
*For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed.*

Hear the good news: the tide has changed, our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ changed the entire game, He triumphed over the devil and received power for us.

Colossians 2:15 (KJV)
*And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.*

Matthew 28:18 (KJV)
*And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.*

Luke 10:19 (KJV) *Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.*

It is now an error for any child of God to be possessed or oppressed by the devil. Christ has given us victory. He has also given us the Holy Spirit (comforter). *John 14:16.*

The Holy Ghost is in us to lift the standard against all the manipulations and flood of the devil.

Isaiah 59:19 (KJV)
*… When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.*

Therefore, beloved don’t give in or surrender to the enemy for the greater one lives in you.

1 John 4:4b (KJV)
*…because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.*

Confront your challenges and mountains. Let the greater one in you begin to manifest by your walk of faith. The devil cannot stand what is in you, if only you can release it.

Confront the situation with the word of truth by the help of the Holy Ghost. Quench all the fiery darts of the wicked by your faith in God. I see you testifying of your victory in the mighty name of Jesus!

> Thank you my Lord for the gift of another beautiful day you have made.

> Thank you my Lord for your unfailing love and mercies towards me and my household.

> Thank you my Lord for daily supply of all my needs.

> Thank you my Father for the gift of your Holy Spirit.

1. Acts 4:29 (KJV)
*And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,*

O Lord my God, grant me boldness to confront any form of opposition to my destiny fulfilment in the mighty name of Jesus!

2. Ephesians 1:18 (KJV)
*The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,*

O Lord my God, open my eyes of understanding to comprehend the victory I have in Christ Jesus in the mighty name of Jesus!

3. Proverbs 6:30-31 (KJV)
[30] *Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry;*
[31] *But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.*

i. I decree every good thing that satan has stolen in my life is restored in the mighty name of Jesus!

ii. I decree all that the enemy has stolen from my family and community is restored in the mighty name of Jesus!

iii. I receive my miracle babies, job, husband, wife, prosperity in the mighty name of Jesus!

4. Isaiah 60:5 (KJV)
*Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.*

I command my wealth in the hands of sinners to come to me in the mighty name of Jesus!

5. Job 20:15 KJV)
*He hath swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again: God shall cast them out of his belly.*

i. I command the devil and his cohorts to vomit my blessings, fruitfulness, peace that they have swallowed in the mighty name of Jesus!

ii. Whoever that is holding on to what belongs to me release it now in the mighty name of Jesus!

6. Ephesians 1:3 (KJV)
*Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:*

I decree all my blessings in the realm of the spirit begin to manifest in the physical in the mighty name of Jesus!

7. Deuteronomy 34:11 (KJV)
*In all the signs and the wonders, which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,*

i. O Lord my God, cause my life to begin to command an unusual result in the mighty name of Jesus!

ii. O Lord my God, let my life and ministry (business, career) begin to command an uncommon result in the mighty name of Jesus!

8. Luke 3:21 (KJV)
*Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,*

O Lord my Father, let heaven over me be perpetually open for the release and manifestation of your blessing in the mighty name of Jesus!

9. Deuteronomy 1:10 (KJV)
*The Lord your God hath multiplied you, and, behold, ye are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude.*

O Lord my God, grant me an unusual increase and multiplication in the mighty name of Jesus!

10. Psalms 65:11 (KJV) *Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.*

O Lord my Father, crown this year for me with your unspeakable goodness and let my life continue to reflect your beauty in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!

Thank you Father for working exceedingly and abundantly above all that I ask or think.

Receive my thanks and praise in the mighty name of Jesus!

See you tomorrow.
*Rejoice evermore.*
*Pray without ceasing.*

[11/23, 5:45 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: Healthy self-focus (2)

Monday 23rd November 2020

‘Servants are fortunate if their master finds them awake.’ Luke12:37 CEV

When dealing with self-focus, you may ask, ‘What about those Scriptures that specifically tell us to “watch”? Aren’t they all about keeping an eye on ourselves?’ That’s a good question, so let’s take a look at some of those ‘watch’ passages in Scripture.

In Mark 13:34-37 (NKJV) we read: ‘A man going to a far country…left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming – in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning – lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!’ What Jesus was teaching here is the exact opposite of self-focus. The doorkeeper wasn’t to watch himself, but to watch for hisreturning master. Jesus expects us to forget ourselves, work conscientiously for his Kingdom, and be watching and prepared for his return. He said, ‘Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them’ (Luke 12:37 NKJV).

Far from an obsessive self-introspection that leaves you exhausted, discouraged and disappointed with yourself, Jesus wants you to be excited and involved in his work here on earth, to actively watch for the coming again of your Lord and King. ‘Look to me [not to yourself!], and be saved…For I am God, andthere is no other’ (Isaiah 45:22 NKJV). So focus more on God – and less on yourself.

MEMORISE: Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
1 Corinthians 10:12

READ: 1 Corinthians 10:1-13
1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Galatians 1-3

Samson judged Israel for twenty years. He was an unusual child with wonderful parents (Judges 13:2-3). He was brought up as a Nazarite (Number 6:1-22, Judges 13:7), and this meant he had to lead a life of consecration unto the Lord. He was also a man of prayer (Judges 15:18 and 16:28), but he failed so terribly because he had not learned to bring his body under subjection like Paul did (1 Corinthians 9:27). Samson’s story is a strong warning to every Christian never to toy with sin. Imagine a judge of Israel lying in Delilah’s lap.

Samson started sinking into sin little by little. First, he fell in love with a strange woman (Judges 14:1-2), then disobeyed his parents when they told him he couldn’t marry her (Judges 14:3). Later on, he slept with a prostitute (Judges 16:1) before he finally landed in Delilah’s lap. Samuel did not worry because his supernatural strength remained even while he was committing sin. In fact, one day, he lifted the gates of the city and took them up a mountain just after sleeping with a prostitute (Judges 16:3). He did not see a need for caution because despite his misdeeds, the anointing appeared to still be on him. Little did he know that the devil was luring him to a place of no return. Samson, eventually landed in Delilah’s lap where he was afflicted and overpowered. While with Delilah, there were several warning signs but he had gotten so deep into sin that he could not stop. The devil lured Samson with seemingly harmless sins until he lost his strength, sight and purpose in life. Ezekiel 18:20 says:

“The soul that sinneth, it shall die…”

Learn from Samson’s life. Those seemingly harmless sins you are committing and getting away with are simply baits from the devil to encourage you to go deeper. The devil is not stupid; he has planned a big downfall along the line. You must stop those sins now before it becomes too difficult to do so. Everything was okay for Samson years into when he started to fall, but in one night, he hit rock bottom. Learn from Samson and make amends while you have the chance.

Don’t be deceived; no sin is harmless. Every sin that goes unpunished is just an enticement towards damnation.

1. Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing pow’r?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

Are you washed in the blood,
In the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb?
Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

2. Are you walking daily by the Savior’s side?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Do you rest each moment in the Crucified?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

3. When the Bridegroom cometh will your robes be white?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Will your soul be ready for the mansions bright,
And be washed in the blood of the Lamb?

4. Lay aside the garments that are stained with sin,
And be washed in the blood of the Lamb;
There’s a fountain flowing for the soul unclean,
Oh, be washed in the blood of the Lamb

[11/23, 5:50 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: *Seeds 🥒🥥🍇🍒🍑🍊Of Destiny*
_23 November 2020_
_Daily Devotional by Dr_ _Pastor Paul Enenche_

🗣️To live a productive life on earth, one must live a life of vision. Vision is an indisputable key to the fulfilment of destiny.

*SCRIPTURE* 📖: I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. Habakkuk 2:1-2.

*THOUGHT FOR THE DAY* 🤔: Don’t wake up in the morning not knowing what to do until the day is over.

Vision is a very powerful force for life and destiny. Vision is very critical to the productivity of life and the fulfilment of destiny. To live a productive life on earth, one must live a life of vision. Vision is an indisputable key to the fulfilment of destiny.

Now, the question is, how is vision conceived? I shall give you three counsels on the matter of vision conception.

*1. Ask God to fill your heart with the reasons for your existence (Acts 9:6).*

At the place of prayer, ask God: Lord, why am I alive? What do you want me to do with my life? Fill my heart oh God with the reason for my existence in the earth. Deliver me Lord from every trace of idleness. What can I do with my life now?

When you ask God, He will fill your life with the reason for your existence.

*2. Live with a sense of purpose daily (Ephesians 5:15).*

Don’t wake up in the morning not knowing what to do until the day is over. Some people don’t know what to do or achieve until a week or a month is over. Don’t live such a life. Itemize what can be done to move your life forward spiritually and otherwise.

*3. Disconnect from visionless people (2 Cor. 6:14).*

There are many people who are going nowhere and they want people who will go with them. Disconnect from such visionless people. Love everyone but don’t hand your life over to anyone who is going nowhere in particular in life.

My counsel, make up your mind to conceive a viable vision for living.

*Remember this* 💡: Don’t wake up in the morning not knowing what to do until the day is over.

*1. Ask God to fill your heart with the reason for your existence* .

*2. Live with a sense of purpose daily* .

*3. Disconnect from visionless people* .

*PRAYER* 🙏🏼: O Lord, fill my heart with the reason for existence. I live with a sense of purpose daily as I disconnect from visionless people, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

*QUOTE* : A vision is what is ahead of you that keeps you going. It is what keeps you from being depressed and discouraged. It is what keeps you from giving up. Culled from “15 Kingdom Strategies For Survival” by Dr Paul Enenche.

*DAILY READING: 1 Corinthians 11-13*

*AMAZING FACT* 😳: To escape the grip of a crocodile’s jaw, push your thumb into its eyeballs-it will let you go instantly.

*PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD* 🔊🌧️: You shall not live a wasted life in Jesus’ Name.

Good Morning 🌺🌹
