[11/16, 7:15 AM] Emm: *LIFE AND FAVOUR*

*Rev. Anthony Akinmoyo,*
Lifeway Christian Centre,

Luke 4:4 (KJV) *And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.*

Deuteronomy 32:46-47 (KJV)
[46] *And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.*
[47] *For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.*

The early apostles said they will give themselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word. I believe no believer can fully maximize his inherent potential without wholly embracing the ministry of the word.

Acts 6:4 (KJV)
*But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.*

The scripture admonishes in
Deuteronomy 32:47 *”For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life…”.* That is, when you have the word you actually have life. Our Lord Jesus Christ confirmed the same when He said the word is Spirit and life.

John 6:63 (KJV)
*…the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.*

The Word of God is life that vitalises our spirit, soul and body. Job said, *That which I see not teach thou me…* Job 34:32. He acknowledged his need for knowledge and called upon God for help. No wonder he was regarded as the greatest man in the east in his time.

*Four Ministry Of The Word*

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (KJV)
*All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:*
*That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.*

Whenever the Word comes to you, it is meant to accomplish these four things in your life among other things.

> To give you doctrine to follow (lifestyle).

> To reprove you.

> To correct you.

> To instruct you in the way of life.

When these things are accomplished in your life, scripture says that you shall become:
A. *Perfect.*
B. *Be thoroughly furnished unto all good works.*

For any believer to really make impact in life, he must embrace these four-fold ministry of the Word. These will bring about the necessary changes that make for progress and lifting. This will also turn you into a positive role model and a reference point to your generation.

_*For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from HIS (Hebrews 4:10).

When you study the account of creation in Genesis 1, you’ll observe God created man on the sixth day, after He had created everything else. Satisfied, He rested from all His works on the seventh day: _*“And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested…” (Genesis 2:2).

Man’s first day in the earth was God’s day of rest. Adam didn’t meet God working; he met Him resting. It wasn’t that God rested so that Adam could finish the rest of the work, no; God finished all the work before Adam was formed. Adam was thus born into rest. This was God’s purpose and intent for man at the beginning. Christ is our rest. When you come into Christ, you’re free from struggles, hassles, anxieties, turmoil and hardships. No wonder we’re counselled by the Spirit, in Philippians 4:6 NKJV to _*“Be anxious for nothing…have no worries.

If you’ve found yourself toiling and stressed out, despite being born again, it’s time for a change. First, cultivate a new mindset and realise that God made you for His pleasure; He created you to be pleased and happy about you and for your life to glorify Him. Then, you say, “I refuse the hard life and embrace the life of peace, abundance, joy and success in Christ. I’ve been given all things richly to enjoy; I don’t lack anything, because ALL things are mine.”

Your life in Christ is one of immeasurable grace, glory ,dominion, joy and righteousness; it’s an extraordinary life of glory from a position of rest. So, keep dominating and subduing your world from a position of rest.

Blessed be God! He’s given me an extraordinary life of righteousness, and I walk in victory and dominion, from a position of rest. His grace is sufficient for me, and in all things, I fulfil my destiny gloriously without stress, in Jesus’ Name.Amen.

Hebrews 4:3
For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

Matthew 6:25-26
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

*Text: “A man’s heart deviseth his way; but the LORD directeth his steps.”Prov 16:9*

One major criterion to becoming all we are created to be in life is to be doing the right thing, at the right place and at the right time with the right people.

1. The Right career, business, vocation etc
2. The Right place
3. The Right time.
4. The Right people.

Ecclesiastes 9:11 in New Living Translation says *“I have observed something else in this world of ours. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle. The wise are often poor, and the skilful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don’t always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being at the right place at the right time.”* The word “chance” here means “divine opportunities”.

If there is something each one of us must believe God for and pray for is that our steps be directed to such places. The Spirit of God helping us to locate divine opportunities. Helping us to find the right set of people that are assigned to make positive contributions in our lives. David became a King not merely by his own efforts; his steps were directed to meet thousands of men who gave all they had to make David a king over Israel. It was not as if David went about looking for them, his steps were divinely ordered to meet them.

I want to encourage you to make this a major prayer point in your life that your steps will be ordered to do the right thing, at the right time, in the right place with the right set of people. The journey of life will be faster and less stressful when our steps are divinely ordered. Precious time, energy and resources will be saved in this process. So many lives have been wasted in unnecessary ventures, relationships and journeys.

In the name of Jesus my steps are ordered in life to do the right thing, at the right time, in the right place, with the right people.

[11/16, 10:56 AM] Emm: WISDOM FOR THE DAY
Monday, 16th November, 2020

“And when He was demanded of the Pharisees, when the Kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation. Neither shall they say, lo here! or, lo there! For behold, the Kingdom of God is within you” Luke 17:20-21 KJV

The Kingdom of God does not come by observation. No! It is not by looking. The Kingdom of heaven is within you. The day you made Jesus the Lord over your life; the Kingdom came into you.

How does that benefit you? It simply means that you don’t wait until you get to heaven to manifest His glory because the Kingdom of heaven rules right here on earth. Anywhere you go, because the Kingdom is within you, you are bound to produce.

Since the kingdom is within you, there are no more limits; no more obstacles and no more hindrances. The Spirit world rules, governs and controls this earthly realm. The Bible says in Hebrews 11:3 “…….that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear”. (KJV)
The things that you are seeing today were not made out of the things that you see. What made what we are seeing is in the Spirit. That is the Word of God. His Words are Spirit and Life. So when you receive the Word in your spirit, you are a loaded missile going somewhere to explode. When you receive the word in your spirit, no matter what it sounds, feels and looks like in the natural, it should not bother you because the natural will submit to you.

Paul puts it this way in 2 Corinthians 4:18: “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal”. (KJV). Temporal means it is subject to change because what we see will change. The Kingdom is not by observation. It is within you. The eternal creates the natural. When you say I believe, when it does not look like it, you are on your way to creating what you believe.

[11/16, 2:17 PM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: *SEEDS 🌽🍉🥑🥔 OF DESTINY*
16th November, 2020.
Daily Devotional by Dr. Paul Enenche.

SCRIPTURE📖: “And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.”
1 Chronicles 12:32.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY🤔: Where there is no direction, there can be no dominion.

Divine direction is a critical asset to life and destiny fulfilment. That is why disregarding divine direction is a deadly enemy of destiny. King Saul disregarded divine direction when God gave him the commandment to kill the Amalekites. The consequence of it was that he ended up as a casualty(1 Samuel 15:1-35). That shall not be your portion in Jesus’ Name.

Today, I shall be giving you the following key thoughts on divine direction:

*1. There can be no destiny without direction (Ex. 13:21-22).*
It is not possible for a person to reach a destination without a direction. You cannot reach where you are meant to reach in life if you don’t have a direction.

*2. Where there is no direction, there must be disaster(Pro. 22:3).*
Accidents happen when bearing is lost. When an aircraft loses bearing in the sky, it is an absolute disaster. In the same way, if there is no contact between you and heaven, disaster is imminent.

*3. Where there is no direction, there is minimal progress (John 6:6).*
Where there is no direction, there must be stagnation. When people don’t know what to do, they don’t leave where they are in life. And when you know what to do, you leave where you are.

*4. Where there is no direction, there can be no dominion(1 Chronicles 12:32).*
The children of Issachar ruled their brethren because they knew what Israel ought to do(1 Chronicles 12:32). Where there is no direction, there can be no dominion.

My counsel is, connect with divine direction if you must fulfil your destiny.

Remember this💡: Where there is no direction, there can be no dominion.

*1. Don’t disregard divine direction.*
*2. Always ask God to always give you directions.*

PRAYER🙏🏽: O Lord, I ask that You give me direction today. Deliver me from every spell of confusion, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
