[11/25, 7:01 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: *LIFE AND FAVOUR*
*Rev. Anthony Akinmoyo,*
Lifeway Christian Centre,
Matthew 14:28-30 (KJV)
 *And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.*
 *And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.*
 *But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.*
One thing you must never loose is your connection and relationship with God. Every other thing or person in life has an alternative, but there is none to God. Therefore, whenever storms arise or you find yourself under the pressures of life, please stay connected to God.
John 15:5 (KJV)
*I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.*
Our connectivity with God is what makes us to be fruitful and to be an overcomer in life. Challenges of life are temporary when you know how to hold on to God.
2 Corinthians 4:18 (KJV)
*While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.*
In every situation, let Christ be your focus. Peter took his eyes off the Lord and he began to sink. If you focus on the storms of life such as marital challenges, health, finance, business etc. you might take a wrong step.
Wait upon the Lord, put your trust and hope in Him. Those who are not patient with God in the journey of life always produce “Ishmaelites”. God cannot be late, He will step in at the right time and beautify your life.
Isaiah 45:22 (KJV)
*Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.*
Let us emulate the likes of Daniel and Joseph.They never allowed the storm and challenges to separate them from their God and both men ended up on the throne.
Those who walk out of God or walk away in anger because of delay or other pressures of life will live in perpetual darkness.
Psalm 16:4 (KJV)
*Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god..*
Hear God’s words of assurance to you this morning.
Isaiah 43:2 (KJV)
*When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.*
Isaiah 49:15 (KJV)
*Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.*
> Thank you my Lord for the joy of another beautiful day you have made.
> Thank you my Lord for the gift of life and salvation of my soul.
> Thank you Father for daily sending your word to me.
> Thank you Lord for a beautiful family and the gift of good friends.
1. Hebrews 13:5 (KJV)
*…I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.*
Thank you my Father for your abiding presence.
2. Acts 26:22 (KJV)
*Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:*
i. Thank you my Lord for strength and grace to continue.
ii. O Lord my Father, more strength and grace to triumph over this situation in the mighty name of Jesus!
3. Romans 8:38-39 (KJV)
 *For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,*
 *Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.*
i. O Lord my God, grant me grace to be faithful unto the end in the mighty name of Jesus!
ii. O Lord my Father, let nothing separate me from your love in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
4. Mark 4:39 (KJV)
*And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.*
i. I rebuke every encroachment of Satan into my family in the mighty name of Jesus!
ii. I rebuke all financial and health storms around my life and family in the mighty name of Jesus!
5. Job 38:11 (KJV)
*And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?*
i. I decree no more delay of any kind in my life and family in the mighty name of Jesus!
ii. I decree, no more near miracle syndrome in my family in the mighty name of Jesus!
iii. I decree and declare, no more disunity in my family in the mighty name of Jesus!
iv. I decree, restoration of joy and peace in my life and family in the mighty name of Jesus!
v. I decree restoration of all the enemy has stolen from me in the mighty name of Jesus!
6. Psalm 7:9 (KJV)
*Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.*
i. O Lord my God, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end in my family in the mighty name of Jesus!
ii. I decree the end of all activities of witchcraft around my family in the mighty name of Jesus!
7. Psalm 90:14 (KJV)
*O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.*
O Lord my God, do not allow my testimony to delay any longer in the mighty name of Jesus!
Thank you Father for working exceedingly and abundantly above all that I ask or think!
Receive my thanks and praise in the mighty name of Jesus!
See you tomorrow.
*Pray without ceasing.*

THE GREATEST ENEMY
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”
Hosea 4:6a (KJV)
You don’t become big to give, you give to become big. No Christian is permitted to be poor, for our High Priest [Jesus Christ] has paid the price, therefore, poverty is a choice by ignorance or enforced by wickedness, which is still fertilized by ignorance, as it is written in today’s scripture, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” The difference in people is not their gender, colour, age, location, nationality, connections or profession, but their mind.
The greatest enemy to supernatural supplies and abundance is ENTITLEMENT MENTALITY. To subscribe to supernatural supplies and abundance, discard entitlement mentality. It is a collective plague in this continent. Entitlement mentality is the mentality of “I am supposed to be helped,” to the extent that you are angry when a friend, an uncle, aunt, a brother, church or pastor somewhere couldn’t help you. Anybody that demonstrates a level of abundance around you, you lay claim on them. Someone invited you to live with them, and then, you lay claim on their success, “It’s in my presence they gave birth to all their children…” What does that have to do with your destiny? If you don’t switch your mind from the zone of entitlement, you would become a parasite and eventually kicked out. Nobody keeps parasites.
Switch your mind away from entitlement mentality and accept full responsibility for your life.
KEEP IN MIND
The greatest enemy to supernatural supplies and abundance is ENTITLEMENT MENTALITY.

*TOPIC: DETHRONED BY PRIDE*
🗣️Pride is a destroyer of life and destiny.
*SCRIPTURE* 📖: Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. Proverbs 16:18.
*THOUGHT FOR THE DAY* 🤔: Lucifer became satan because of pride. His destiny equals eternity in hell.
Pride has been confirmed to be a deadly enemy of destiny. Pride is a destroyer of life and destiny. It destroyed the destiny of Queen Vashti. On that fateful day, her husband, King Ahasuerus told her to come out so he could show her beauty to the people and the princes but she refused out of pride. Consequently, she was dethroned as queen (Esther 1:1-21).
What made Absalom die before his time? It was his pride! (2 Samuel 18:1-14).
What about lucifer? It was the same pride that dethroned him from heaven (Isaiah 14:12-15).
Lucifer was the anointed cherub who lived in heaven. Musical instruments were wired inside his body. The flapping of his wings was music. He was the most beautiful creature of all the celestial beings outside of God Himself, but pride entered his head and he was dethroned (Ezekiel 28:17). Lucifer became satan because of pride. His destiny equals eternity in hell.
Pride also humiliated Nebuchadnezzar. God made him to eat grass for seven years so he could acknowledge who really owned Babylon. When he returned, he said, “… and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.”(Daniel 4:37). He was talking from a practical experience.
It was pride that killed Herod. It happened on the day he spoke and the people said that his voice was the voice of God. He refused to give the glory to God and an angel smote him (Acts 12:21-24).
Beloved, don’t let pride kill you. Don’t let pride ruin your destiny; walk in humility.
*Remember this* 💡: Lucifer became satan because of pride. His destiny equals eternity in hell.
*1. Do not allow pride to ruin your life and destiny* .
*2. Live in humility always* .
*PRAYER* 🙏🏼: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I repent from every form of pride and arrogance in my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

*QUOTE* : Pride is satan manifested and there is nothing God hates like satan manifested. God had cast him from heaven as a result of pride. Culled from “WHO ARE YOU?” by Dr Paul Enenche.
*DAILY READING: 2 Corinthians 1-3*
*AMAZING FACT* 😳: Israel is the largest immigrant-absorbing country in the world, in proportion to its population size. With people from more than 100 countries from five continents, Israel’s culture is extremely varied.
*PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD* 🔊🌧️: You shall not be ruined by pride in Jesus’ Name
Good Morning 🌺🌹
[11/25, 7:13 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL
WEDNESDAY 25TH NOVEMBER 2020.
LOOKING FOR GREENER PASTURES?
MEMORISE: And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:
READ: Genesis 26:1-4, 12-17
1 And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar.
2 And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:
3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;
4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
Vs 12 – 17
12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.
13 And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:
14 For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.
15 For all the wells which his father’s servants had digged in the days of Abraham his father, the Philistines had stopped them, and filled them with earth.
16 And Abimelech said unto Isaac, Go from us; for thou art much mightier than we.
17 And Isaac departed thence, and pitched his tent in the valley of Gerar, and dwelt there.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Acts 17:1-18:18
It is no longer news that every day, lots of people flock out of developing countries in search of greener pasture in developed nations. It is saddening when we hear of those who are so desperate that they go abroad through boats that are death traps or by walking through the deserts and terrible weather conditions. Thousands have died and many others have been kidnapped and used as sex slaves because they were so desperate to leave their country in search of greener pastures.
The principles of success are as effective in your nation as they are in the developed world, and as a Christian, you have a greater advantage in the word of God and the presence of His Holy Spirit in you.
Now, I am not saying you cannot achieve greatness anywhere aside from your home country, after all, Daniel and Joseph succeeded tremendously in Babylon and Egypt respectively. However, if you cross the borders without an instruction from God, you may be leaving God’s plans for you behind. You are to ask God where you ought to be per time and His direction will keep you on the right path. You may say “oh, but the situation in my country is not favorable at all”; well. Isaac was in such a situation too in Genesis 26, but God told him to stay in that same land in spite of the famine and he eventually prospered so much that he became the envy of the nation. God told him in Genesis 26:3:
“Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee…”
This is all that you should be after: the presence of God with you. It is that same presence that made Joseph succeed, according to Genesis 39:2-3:
“And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.”
Seek God’s face to know His will for your life. His presence will be with you as you obey Him and the works of your hands will prosper greatly in the mighty name of Jesus.
Only go where God has instructed you to go.
HYMN 19: MY HOPE IS BUILT ON NOTHING LESS.
1. My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.
2. When darkness veils His lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.
3. His oath, His covenant, His blood
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.
4. When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
Dressed in His righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.
