[12/20, 7:26 AM] faithemm2015: WISDOM FOR THE DAY
Sunday, 20th December, 2020

“In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:” Colossians 1:14 (KJV)

Sin still has wages. But because of the price that Jesus Christ paid on our behalf as Children of God through his death, burial and resurrection, we have become his children. As His children, we have eternal life. As His children, we have been redeemed from the curse of the law, and part of it is sin.

Our redemption is a gift of God. The bible tells us in Romans 6:23: “…. But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord “(KJV). In other words, we never paid for it. It a gift that God gave to us because of what Jesus did. The gift of God is eternal life. That is God’s own kind of life. And that’s what you received the day you made Jesus the Lord and Saviour of your life.

According to John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The Bible tells us in Ephesians 1:7 that in him “….. we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace (KJV)

Redemption is the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of his grace in Him, we have it. “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV)

Our sins have been forgiven. Sins have been forgiven over 2000 years ago ever before you were born. Jesus Christ came and ensured that every sin in our lives-past, present and future-have been dealt with. He died while we were still in our sins. While we were yet dead in sin, he paid for the sins of the world.

“And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses” (Colossians 2:13) All your sins have been forgiven. Everyone of them! It is the gift of God. Your part is to receive it.

Be Good At Taking Action

The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to DO and TEACH. – Acts 1:1 KJV

The law of action is an indispensable and universal law of success. It is called the law of cause and effect. People who have little knowledge but are good at taking action will have more results than people who have much knowledge but do not take action. It is not just enough to know, you must act on what you know. It is not enough to make plans, your plans must culminate into execution.

The Bible says in our opening scripture for today that Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry gave priority to action. In other words, He had been practicing the kingdom principles before He started teaching them to people. Every successful person is undoubtedly an action oriented person because after all said and done it is not what you know that really count but what you do with what you know.

When action becomes habitual and a way of life for you, the result is exponential. Unless you take actions that are in harmony with your God given dreams and proceed in an orderly manner in the direction of your desired future, there’ll be no tangible result you to show for life. People violate this law due to laziness, procrastination and fear but everyone who violates this law always pay dearly for it.

Someone has rightly said “act boldly, unseen forces will come to your aid.” Only those who take steps will experience the miraculous. Your action is a proof of your faith; your action is a proof of your courage. Have you be procrastinating on some things? Start acting on your plans and keep taking steps in the direction of your plans daily.

Make or renew your decision today to be an action oriented person all the days of your life and start now.

It is not what you know that counts but what you do with what you know.

Good Morning.

_*Each of you must take responsibility for doing the
creative best you can with your own life (Galatians 6:5

Some Christians try to blame God for what actually is their responsibility. Oftentimes, when something unpleasant happens, they conclude that it’s the will of God; otherwise, “Why did He let it happen?” they muse. What we need to realise is that the authority to
change things on earth, and make our lives as beautiful as we desire, has been given to us. You can make your life glorious by living out God’s

In Matthew 17:20, the Lord Jesus was emphatic when He said,
_*“…verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed,
ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place;
and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”*_ He
makes it clear that you can create your victories by acting your faith on
the Word of God. He already gave you the measure of faith you require
to effect the changes you desire.

In Mark 9:23, He said, _*“…all things are possible to him that
believeth.”*_ The question is, do you believe? If you do, then you have
before you a life of endless possibilities. Put the Word to work in your life,
and you’ll always be victorious.

Don’t “wait” for His Word to come to pass in your life; rather,
_*“…work out your own salvation with fear and trembling”*_ (Philippians 2:12). You’re to work out the Word in your life and make it produce
results. Using your faith, you can be what you want to be, change what
you want to change, and achieve whatever you want to achieve!

God has already given you the dominion and ability to make your
life prosperous. He said in Joshua 1:8, _*“This book of the law shall not
depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and
night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written
therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou
shalt have good success.”*_ It’s about what you do with the Word! You
have to meditate on it and live accordingly, and the glory of God will be
manifest in your life.

*My life is the testimony of God’s grace, and I walk in blessings
evermore—in endless glory, joy, victories, successes, and possibilities! Nothing is impossible unto me! Christ is my life and
His Word is working mightily in me now and always. Hallelujah!*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *Mark 11:23* For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. *||*

*||* *Philippians 4:13* I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. *||*

*||* *Joshua 1:8 AMPC* This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success. *||*
