[12/28, 9:51 AM] faithemm2015: *LIFE AND FAVOUR*

*Rev. Anthony Akinmoyo,*

Philippians 1:6 (KJV)
*Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:*

Beloved, nothing is too late with God. Whatever He promised will surely come to pass. There is eleventh hour miracle waiting for you, therefore, do not be discouraged or lose hope in the living God. He will surely do as He promised.

Matthew 20:9 (KJV)
*And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.*

Just the same way Abraham hoped against hope and he received his desired answer. The same God, who never changed will step into your affairs and turn things around for you.

Malachi 3:6 (KJV)
*For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.*

Beloved, if only you can trust in God and be still, you will surely see His mighty hand in your situation. Never allow anxiety or worry of any kind to access your life.

1 Thessalonians 5:24 (MSG)
*The One who called you is completely dependable. If he said it, he’ll do it!*

Remember, God has promised never to leave you nor forsake you. Hang on to Him. He is strategic in handling the affairs of His children. Let the remaining days of this year be of praise, joy and thanksgiving. Continue to lay it to heart all His goodness and lovingkindness towards you. Remember how God has rescued you on several occasions. Never be engrossed with what you don’t have but let your focus be on God’s faithfulness and in the integrity of His word. Then, I can assure you that this year will end in praise and testimonies for you and your household.

[12/28, 9:51 AM] faithemm2015: RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

THEME SCRIPTURE : This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (JOSHUA 1:8).

Today, having several Bible translations and the emergence of Bibles in electronic devices has made it increasingly difficult for many to memorise Scriptures. Very easily, you can search and locate verses, and in different translations, at the click or push of a button. But this shouldn’t take the place or relegate the importance of memorizing scriptures as part of your personal spiritual growth.

Memorising Scriptures helps you exercise your mind to retain the Word of God. Your mind is the doorway to your spirit (2 Corinthians 4:4). The Word of God has to be in your consciousness to produce results in your life. When it’s in your consciousness, it’ll be in your mouth; and the Word in your mouth is a creative force.

As you read your Bible, pick out striking verses and recite them repeatedly by heart. This is the beginning of meditation, and the more you do this, the more the Word will gain the ascendancy in your spirit.
Set the target to memorize a verse of scripture per day and measure your progress in it. You’d be amazed at the impact of the Word in your life.

The Word of God is working mightily in me, prevailing in every area of my life, making me excellent in all things and in every way. As I meditate on the Word, my profiting appears to all! I walk in victory, heaping success upon success, reigning and ruling over circumstances, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.

Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:  Revelation 6-11
1.       There shall be showers of blessing:
This is the promise of love;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
Sent from the Savior above.
o   Refrain:
Showers of blessing,
Showers of blessing we need:
Mercy-drops round us are falling,
But for the showers we plead.
2.       There shall be showers of blessing,
Precious reviving again;
Over the hills and the valleys,
Sound of abundance of rain.
3.       There shall be showers of blessing;
Send them upon us, O Lord;
Grant to us now a refreshing,
Come, and now honor Thy Word.
4.       There shall be showers of blessing:
Oh, that today they might fall,
Now as to God we’re confessing,
Now as on Jesus we call!
5.       There shall be showers of blessing,
If we but trust and obey;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
If we let God have His way.

[12/28, 9:51 AM] faithemm2015: *INSPIRATION*
(Giving direction to your day)
*Ola Aina*

Monday 28th December, 2020

*Text: “Except the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain that build: Except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” Ps 127:1*

The New living translation of this scripture says “Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is useless. Unless the Lord protects the city, guarding it with sentries will do no good”. It’s okay to work hard and put in all the effort required in what we are doing but don’t ever forget that its God’s input that makes the difference.

One of the wisest things to do in life is find out what God wants to build and then position ourselves to build along with Him. For example find out what kind of business God wants you to be involved in before dabbling into business. Once you know that you can be sure that it will be built by God and it will have the spiritual strength to withstand the wind of the economy and fierce competition in the marketplace.
Be sure that God is involved in the relationship you are in because it could be an uphill task getting into a marriage that God is not involved in. You may end up building in vain. Get God involved in every area of your life. Human strength alone will not take you far. Human strength is good but has its limits. Building by yourself will cost you more than you can afford.

When God builds the forces of hell cannot stop us. When God builds his wisdom will be available for us. When God builds it will last. Just as we said earlier one of the wisest things to do in life is find out what God wants to build and then position ourselves to build along with Him. This is the best way to make it great in life. The summary of Inspiration devotional testimony in 2020 is God built it. New people received Inspiration virtually daily this year.

Thank you Lord for your mighty hand that was visible on Inspiration in 2020. Thank you for testimonies.

[12/28, 9:51 AM] faithemm2015: The gift of encouragement

Monday 28th December 2020

‘If your gift is…to encourage, then give encouragement.’ Romans 12:6, 8 NIV

Did you know that there’s such a thing as ‘the gift of encouragement’? The Bible says, ‘We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is…to encourage, then give encouragement’ (Romans 12:6,8 NIV). Every day you meet people in need of encouragement. They may not show it on the surface, but underneath they’re struggling to keep their head above water. Some of them are at the point of despair, and your words can lift them. Even a smile can do it. Job said, ‘When they were discouraged, I smiled at them. My look of approval was precious to them’ (Job 29:24 NLT). Solomon said, ‘Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad’ (Proverbs 12:25 NKJV).

Don’t assume because people exhibit the trappings of status and success that they don’t need encouragement. David was a best-selling author whose psalms are still read around the world. He was Israel’s most popular king. His victories in battle are the envy of every military academy strategist. But he had days when he felt so low that he was reaching up to touch the bottom: ‘I am on the verge of collapse, facing constant pain’ (Psalm 38:17 NLT). It’s not just average people who need encouragement – best-selling authors, kings and generals need it too. Everybody does! And that’s good, because when you have the gift of encouragement you will never be without a job.

So today, be sensitive to God’s leading and when he prompts you to encourage someone – do it!
