[12/31, 4:26 AM] faithemm2015: *LIFE AND FAVOUR*

*Rev. Anthony Akinmoyo,*
Lifeway Christian Centre,

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV)
*In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.*

We are forever indebted to God for all His goodness and loving kindness towards us. Therefore, we must constantly and continually offer our sacrifices of thanksgiving. For all He has done, we must thank Him.

For things that are yet to manifest, we must thank Him. Infact, you are alive today to take stock of things that are there and yet to be, all because God’s mercy kept you. so thank Him for your success and yet to be fulfilled dreams. Beloved, it is only the living that can have dreams.

Psalm 150:6 (KJV)
*Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord . Praise ye the Lord .*

Beloved, as long there is breath in you, you are owing God your appreciation and thanksgiving.

Ephesians 5:20 (KJV)
*Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;*

For yet to be fulfilled dreams or things that are not working, give God thanks so that they can pick up. For things that are moving as planned, give Him thanks, give God thanks that you are still alive, that means God is still working.

Beloved, whatever you thought you would have achieved this year, that are yet to come, know that God is still working on them. So give Him thanks.

In everything give thanks.
For everything give thanks.

2 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV)
*Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.*

2. Psalm 124:7 (KJV)
*Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.*

i. Thank you Father for causing us to escape from all the manipulations of the wicked.

ii. Thank you Father for the safety of all members of my family.

3. 2 Corinthians 1:20 (KJV)
*For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.*

Thank you Father for your faithfulness over my family.

4. Philippians 4:19 (KJV)
*But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.*

Thank you Father for supernatural provision all through the year.

5. 2 Thessalonians 3:16 (KJV)

Thank you Father for giving us peace by all means.

6. Psalm 18:6 (KJV)
*In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.*

Thank you my Father for answering all my prayers from the beginning of the year to this day.

7. Revelation 22:2 (KJV)
*In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.*

Thank you Father for your good plans and provision for me through out the year.

Thank you Father for blessing the works of my hands.

Beloved, look at every area of your life and continue to give thanks to the Lord.

Thank you Father for working exceedingly and abundantly above all that I ask or think.

Receive my thanks and praise in the mighty name of Jesus!

See you tomorrow,

*Nevertheless, at thy Word*
*Text*: Luke 5:5
_”But Simon answered and said to Him, ‚ÄúMaster, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.‚ÄĚ_

Peter and his friends had toiled all night and caught nothing. There was nothing to show for their efforts and had become discouraged. But the word of the Lord came to them saying, _”Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.‚ÄĚ_ (Luke 5:4). No matter where you are, if the word of God can reach you, you will reach your goal.

The reasons to hold on to the word:

*# The word stands forever #*
Jesus said, _”Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.”_(Matt 24:35). The word of God will stand forever while everything else will pass away. No matter how magnificent anything in this world looks, it will pass away sooner than later. You have heard it said that, “Nothing lasts forever” except the word of God. Therefore, it is wiser to hold on to the word of God which will outlive the heavens and the earth and all that is in it.

The Bible says, _”The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.”_ (Is 40:8). The word of God stands forever because the One who spoke the word lives forever. He has also bound Himself by His word. It is therefore impossible for the word to fade away like the flowers and grass of the earth. When God made a promise to Abraham or to David, though these
patriarchs of faith had died long ago, God’s word to them and their descendants remain for eternity! Ps 89:3-4 confirms this, _‚ÄúI have made a covenant with My chosen, I have sworn to My servant David: your seed I will establish forever, and build up your throne to all generations.‚Äô‚ÄĚ_¬†

Before the situation you are going through now, there was the word and the word will outlive that situation. Whereas your challenge is subject to change, the word of God is unchangeable. The Lord said, _”My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.”_(Ps 89:34). Wait for the word for at the end it will speak and will not lie. The word of God stands forever. Remember, _”But the word of the¬†Lord¬†endures forever.‚ÄĚ Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.”_(1 Peter 1:25)

[12/31, 6:48 AM] faithemm2015: OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.                                                Philippians 4:13
READ:  Psalm 90:12
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
We have come to the end of another year. A new year begins tomorrow. At the end of a season, it is important that you sit and review the season.
Review all that happened or didn’t in every aspect of your life in 2020. Did you experience any progress in your career? Did you draw closer to God this year? Did your relationship with loved ones get better this year? You know the important areas of your life; do a review.
After your review, you will see areas where you need to improve. The opportunity to improve starts now; grab it with faith in God for a better year. List the things you want to achieve in the new year and put things in place to ensure you achieve them.
If for example, you want to live a better spiritual life, but there is a partner you keep committing fornication or adultery with, then it is time to delete that fellow’s number and cut all ties with him/her. Hebrews 12:1 says:
‚ÄúWherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,‚ÄĚ
Let the word of God guide you in all matters. Psalm 37:5 tells us to:
¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬† ‚ÄúCommit thy way unto the¬†Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.‚ÄĚ
Beloved, your decisions and actions now will determine how year 2021 will be for you. If there are things you want to stop in your life, you had better not carry them in 2021 and if there are things you want start in your life, bring them in now. You have a chance to write your own history in 2021; don’t miss it.
May the Almighty God bless you tremendously in the coming year in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
Declare the things that you want in the year 2021. It will be a greater year for you than all those that had come before it, in the mighty name of Jesus.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:  Revelation 21-22
1.       O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.
Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!
2.       When through the woods, and forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees.
When I look down, from lofty mountain grandeur
And see the brook, and feel the gentle breeze.
3.       Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!
4.       And when I think, that God, His Son not sparing;
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.
5.       Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!
6.       When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation,
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration,
And then proclaim: “My God, how¬†great¬†Thou art!”
7.       Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

[12/31, 6:48 AM] faithemm2015:
Compliment of the season Saints of GOD.

For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich (2 Corinthians 8:9).

The verse above isn’t referring to spiritual riches and spiritual poverty. When you study the entire chapter in context, you’d understand Paul was dealing with financial and material prosperity. For our sake, Jesus laid down His reputation, His riches and wealth; He laid down everything and identified Himself with us, and took our place. He became us. Everything He did was for our sake. He wasn’t poor, but He became poor for your sake. In the same way, you weren’t rich, but now in Him, you’ve been made rich, just as in Him you’ve been made righteous.

An understanding of this truth will cause you to walk in your heritage in Christ; your wealthy place in God. Your trust shouldn‚Äôt be in the government, the society or in the job that you do. Your trust shouldn’t be in any banking reform. Your trust has to be in the Word. He already became poor so that you, through His poverty, might become rich. Now, you‚Äôre to step into what He‚Äôs done for you and who He‚Äôs made you. You‚Äôre to walk in the glory that He‚Äôs brought you into. That was the essence of His suffering: ‚Äú…the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified before hand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow‚ÄĚ (1 Peter 1:11). The glory now follows. Hallelujah!

Dear Father, I acknowledge my great inheritance in Christ and the place of greatness and abundance you’ve brought me into. I vehemently reject poverty, lack, penury and want, but consciously choose the joyful, prosperous life in Christ. I walk in righteousness, health, victory and success, which are my heritage in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Galatians 3:29
And if ye [be] Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

2 Corinthians 8:9 AMPC
For you are becoming progressively acquainted with and recognizing more strongly and clearly the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (His kindness, His gracious generosity, His undeserved favor and spiritual blessing), [in] that though He was [so very] rich, yet for your sakes He became [so very] poor, in order that by His poverty you might become enriched (abundantly supplied).
