SCRIPTURE: And Pharaoh said unto his servants,”Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is? And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art”: Genesis 41:38-39

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The wisdom of God equips a person with the capacity for solution and answer provision.

Divine wisdom is the wisdom of God. One of the manifestations of Divine wisdom is that it connects people to solutions and answers to generational problems and questions. The wisdom of God provides the keys to demystifying the mysteries of life.

In Genesis chapter 41,”we saw how Pharaoh dreamt a dream but he had no interpretation. None of all the wise men and magicians of Egypt could interpret the dream until they found a man called Joseph. And Pharaoh’s dream was not just a dream but a looming challenge – seven years of plenty that was going to be followed by seven years of famine. That was a situation that needed a practical solution. And in Genesis 41″:33-40,”we saw how Joseph offered the solution by the wisdom of God.

So, the wisdom of God can make you offer solutions to the problems of a family, community, city, territory, nation, and even to a whole generation. The wisdom of God equips a person with the capacity for solution and answer provision.

Beloved, God is releasing His wisdom on you; you are becoming a problem solver. And it is possible that you are solving some problems around you now but God is raising you to the realm of solving national, generational, territorial problems by the agency of His wisdom.

Remember this”: The wisdom of God equips a person with the capacity for solution and answer provision.

1. Live in the fear of the Lord. Let God’s Word guide your actions and thoughts.

2. Do not just complain about the problems around you,”trust God for wisdom to offer solutions.

PRAYER”: Father,”I connect with Your Wisdom to deliver my city, community, family and generation from the challenges of life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

*No confidence in the flesh part 5*

*Text*: Phil 3:3
” _For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh._ ”

Circumcision is the cutting off or removal of the foreskin. It was a sign of the Abrahamic covenant. The Lord God told Abraham, ” _This is My covenant which you shall keep, between Me and you and your descendants after you: Every male child among you shall be circumcised_ .”(Gen 17:10). Any male child who was 8years old and not circumcised was to be alienated from the covenant. It was a token, a proof of the covenant between God and Abraham. Furthermore, it differentiated the people of God from the others.

Apostle Paul tells us New Covenant believers that we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit. In other words, we entered into a covenant relationship with God by the circumcision of our heart and not just the foreskin. Jehovah promised saying, ” _I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh._ “(Eze 36:26). This is what takes place at the New Birth following our faith in the finished work of Christ Jesus. Confession of the Lordship of Jesus is followed by the circumcision of the heart. The heart of stone and sin is cut off and a new heart which longs after God and His righteousness is given to us. Hallelujah!

Rom 2:29 says, ” _But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God._ ” Outward cutting off or removal of the foreskin profits noting in the New Testament. It is the inward, the heart circumcision which makes anyone in Christ an Israelite of God. It is not of letter but of the Spirit. There is therefore no confidence in the flesh occasioned by outward circumcision. Our confidence is in the new heart, new spirit and a new life that we received at conversion. Is it not written, ” _Therefore if any man be in Christ he is a new creation_ .”(2 Corinth 5:17)

Say with me, ” I am a new creation, I am a brand new man. I am the circumcision of the heart and of the Spirit. I rejoice in Christ Jesus and I have no confidence in the flesh.”

*Text: “And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.”Ex 4:10*

I don’t have enough money. Nobody will help me. I did not finish from school. It is too difficult for me. These are excuses you must have heard before or you must have said something similar yourself. Excuses are usually reasons that we give for not doing what we are required to do. Excuses are as old as the Bible; men of all ages have made them. One thing is sure excuses will excuse you out of destiny. The genuineness of your excuse is irrelevant. The purpose of God will be defeated when we make excuses. There will always be reasons why something can never be done.

Moses gave God the excuse that he was slow of speech and unqualified to face Pharaoh. God did not accept any of that. Gideon gave the excuse that his family was the poorest in Manasseh and he was the least in the poorest family. As far as he was concerned someone like him cannot fight the midianites. Each of these men was trying to lecture God on what they thought he did not know.

As far as God is concerned no excuse is good enough to stop the fulfilment of his purpose for our lives. We must appreciate that our lives are raw materials and God expects us to take the raw materials he has given us to make something great out of it. We make so many excuses because we expect to start the purpose of God with finished products. Start with what you have and start where you are. Don’t forget we said God’s purpose for our lives has the potential to grow and multiply. If you don’t stop the excuse it will stop the purpose of God for your life. EXCUSES ARE EVIDENCE OF MENTAL LAZINESS. Be deliberate about overcoming that excuse.

Excuses are the tools that men with no purpose in view use in building for themselves a great monument of nothing.

[6/19, 6:10 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: MESSAGE FROM:

*Rev. Anthony Akinmoyo,*
Lifeway Christian Centre,

God never wants us to live in isolation, He created us to relate, interact and benefit one another. Therefore, at every stage of our lives, we all need true friends. Our heavenly Father so much believed in friendship that He made Abraham His friend.

Isaiah 41:8 (KJV)
*But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.*

Our Lord Jesus Christ operated His ministry when He was physically here in the midst of His friends. In fact, there was a time when He overworked himself by the reason of the multitude that were with Him. His friends had to come and take Him away from the crowd.

Mark 3:21 (MSG) *His friends heard what was going on and went to rescue him, by force if necessary. They suspected he was getting carried away with himself.*

Beloved, we all need good and true friends in the journey of life. David would have died an untimely death if not for the help of his friend Jonathan. 1 Samuel 18:13, 1 Samuel 19:2. Hear the testimony or the piece David wrote in memory of his friend Jonathan.

2 Samuel 1:26 (KJV)
*I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan: very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women.*

A true friend is the one who is there to care. There is a saying that “a good friend is like one mind in two bodies.” Roberts Lewis said, “A friend is a present which you give yourself.” When you find one please value, treasure and keep him or her.

Proverbs 17:17 (KJV)
*A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.*

A true friend will remain a friend even when you don’t deserve to have such a friend. A good friend will see you through when others think that you are through or give up on you.

Proverbs 27:6 (KJV)
*Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.*

Therefore, carefully and prayerfully choose your association because that is one of the greatest assets you have. The value of a true friend is far more than any material asset.

Proverbs 27:9 (KJV)
*Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man’s friend by hearty counsel.*

*How do I get a true friend?*
A. Make yourself a true and sincere friend first, for light begat light.

Proverbs 18:24 (KJV)
*A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.*

Be friendly, truthful and sincere. I don’t envy any man who does not have a close and good friend. In fact, it is a proof of weak character. The way to make a true friend is to be one. A real friend is your best possession.

*How To Nourish True Friendship.*
Since there is nothing so well worth having as friends, never be careless with them.

A. *Appreciation.*

Always appreciate your friends for every good gesture no matter how little or great. You will develop more intimacy by appreciating one another. Everybody likes a compliment, therefore don’t deny your friends his own. One of the deepest principle in human nature, either knowingly or unknowingly is craving to be appreciated. Do not overlook your friends’ good deed.

B. Do not take advantage of your friends kindness and gentleness. Mutual respect keeps good friendship going.

C. Be open to one another so as to enjoy godly counsel and necessary help where such is required.

Proverbs 27:9-10 (MSG) *Just as lotions and fragrance give sensual delight, a sweet friendship refreshes the soul.*
*Don’t leave your friends or your parents’ friends and run home to your family when things get rough; Better a nearby friend than a distant family.*

Beloved, use your two hands to hold your true friends.

1. Thank you my Lord for the gift of life and another beautiful day you have made.

2. Thank you my Father for the joy of knowing you.

3. Thank you my Father for your mercies and daily supply of all my needs.

4. Thank you my Father for the gift of faithful and true friends you gave to me.

5. Philippians 4:13 (KJV)
*I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.*

O Lord my Father, grant me grace to be a true and dependable person to my friends in Jesus mighty name!

6. Zechariah 7:9 (KJV) *Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:*

O Lord my Father, grant me a compassionate heart to love beyond the surface in Jesus mighty name!

7. Ephesians 4:3 (KJV)
*Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.*

O Lord my Father, grant me grace to keep and retain the good relationships you gave to me in the mighty name of Jesus!

8. Romans 16:3 (KJV)
*Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus:*

O Lord my Father, send more helpers and refreshers to my life and ministry in the mighty name of Jesus!

9. Mark 15:21 (KJV)
*And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian, who passed by, coming out of the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to bear his cross.*

O Lord my God, release good and sincere burden bearers to my life in Jesus mighty name!

10. Jeremiah 31:11 (KJV)
*For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.*

O Lord my Father, rescue me from enemies and situations that are stronger than me in Jesus mighty name!

11. Jeremiah 15:20 (KJV)
*And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the Lord.*

O Lord my Father, arise and frustrate all the activities and manipulations of the wicked around my life in Jesus mighty name!

12. Jeremiah 15:21 (KJV)
*And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible.*

O Lord my Father, rescue me from the hands of known and unknown enemies around my destiny in the mighty name of Jesus!

13. Jeremiah 20:11 (KJV)
*But the Lord is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.*

i. O Lord my God, set confusion in the camp of my enemies in Jesus mighty name!

ii. I decree and declare the enemies of my soul shall not prosper in Jesus mighty name!

iii. I decree and declare they shall be covered with shame in Jesus mighty name!

14. Ezra 6:5 (KJV)
*And also let the golden and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took forth out of the temple which is at Jerusalem, and brought unto Babylon, be restored, and brought again unto the temple which is at Jerusalem, every one to his place, and place them in the house of God.*

I decree and declare, there shall be restoration of glory and honour unto my life in Jesus mighty name!

15. I decree every good thing and blessing the enemy removed from my life and family is restored in Jesus mighty name!

Thank you Father for working exceedingly and abundantly above all that I ask or think.

Thank you Father for the uncommon results and answers.

Receive my thanks and praise in the mighty name of Jesus!

See you tomorrow,
Philippians 4:4 (KJV)
*Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.*
