[7/6, 6:43 AM] Emm: MESSAGE FROM:

*Rev. Anthony Akinmoyo,*
Lifeway Christian Centre,

Genesis 17:1, 6 (KJV) *And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.*
*And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.*

Luke 18:27 (KJV)
*And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.*

The best team mate or partner you could ever have in life is our Lord Jesus Christ. When you join together with Him in His plan and purpose for your life and your generation, things that are impossible with men become possible with you. Limitation will supernaturally give way.

Beloved, let this be known for once that it is the Lord that makes man great not our running around without God. I am not playing down on smart, diligent and prudent work. No! But whatever you are called to do, God must remain at the centre of your life.

Psalm 16:8 (KJV)
*I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.*

It is amazing that two major things every man seek after are with God. That is, riches and honour. He gives it to any one that pleases Him. I believe, instead of running after these things, it is wise to be hanging around with God who is the custodian of riches and honour.

1 Chronicles 29:11-12 (KJV)
*Thine, O Lord , is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine ; thine is the kingdom, O Lord , and thou art exalted as head above all. [12] Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.*

The above scriptures emphasized that it is God that makes great. Partnering with God in faith, purity and works will make you to be enviable in all ramifications.

All great things have God at the centre of them, that is, no one can achieve durable greatness without Him. Dare to go with God further than you can see and whatever is beneficial for you, God will put it within your reach.

Psalm 84:11 (KJV)
*For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.*

1. Thank you my Father for another beautiful day you have made.

2. Thank you my Lord for the gift of a new week.

3. Thank you my Lord for the joy of salvation in my soul.

4. Thank you my Father for daily supply of my needs according to your riches in glory.

5. Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV) *Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.*

O Lord my Father, grant me grace to know your actual purpose for my life in the mighty name of Jesus!

6. 2 Corinthians 5:15 (KJV)
*And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.*

O Lord my God, empower me to be totally committed to the advancement of your kingdom on earth in the mighty name of Jesus!

7. Psalm 86:11 (KJV)
*Teach me thy way, O Lord ; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.*

O Lord my God, teach me your way and grant me grace to walk in it unto the end in the mighty name of Jesus!

8. 1 Peter 4:2 (KJV)
*That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.*

i. O Lord my Father, let your will become my will so that I will no longer pursue vain things in the mighty name of Jesus!

ii. O Lord my God, deliver me from myself so that I can faithfully serve you in the mighty name of Jesus!

9. 1 Samuel 12:6 (KJV)
*And Samuel said unto the people, It is the Lord that advanced Moses and Aaron, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt.*

My Lord and my God, advance my destiny in life in the mighty name of Jesus!

10. 1 Chronicles 29:12 (KJV)
*Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.*

i. O Lord my Father, release the Spirit of greatness into my life in the mighty name of Jesus!

ii. O Lord my God, take me to the realm of kingdom riches and honour in the mighty name of Jesus!

*Prophetic Declarations.*

> I decree and declare, I shall enter into sudden lifting in the mighty name of Jesus!

> I decree, no more barenness in my life in the mighty name of Jesus!

> I decree and declare, I shall not be visited by evil in the mighty name of Jesus!

> I decree and command my destiny helpers to locate me in the mighty name of Jesus!

Thank you Father for working exceedingly and abundantly above all that I ask or think.

Thank you Father for the uncommon results and answers.

Receive my thanks and praise in the mighty name of Jesus!

See you tomorrow,
*Rejoice evermore.*
*Pray without ceasing.*

Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17

READ: Luke 18:1-7

1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.

7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

Prayer is part of the Christian life that is fast becoming unpopular, but it’s power has not reduced one bit. When I was a lecturer in the University of Ilorin, my-father-in-the-Lord- Pa Josiah Akindayomi came on a visit and passed the night in my house. Before I went to bed, he was praying; when I woke up to ease myself in the middle of the night, he was still praying. Worried, I asked him the next morning what was wrong. He responded that I would understand soon. He passed on and I became the General Overseer of the Church; with the enormity of task I faced, I started praying all night also. The country needs prayers so that ungodly policies will not stand; you need prayers so you don’t fall for the trick of the devil in this end times. Your children need prayers against the perverseness of this generation.

The devil knows that if he can attack a Christian’s prayer life, then he can get that fellow. That is why he brings all sort of distractions to take your mind off prayers. Your work, family responsibilities, social media, television and even church activities are all things that he ensures take your time such that you have little time left for prayers. I pray for you: Your prayer altar will receive fire in the mighty name of Jesus.

Many of the struggles that we experience today would not even have existed if only we prayed. You can move mountains and change seasons with your prayer. You are only shortchanging yourself when you don’t pray. James 5:16 says:
“…The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

1 John 5:14 says:
“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:”

Seeing all these promises in the ever-true word of God, you know that prayer can solve many of those issues that have lingered too long. As a Christian, you should pray at all times (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

Double your prayer time as from today. If you have been praying for thirty minutes daily before, double it to one hour.

1. Pass me not, O gentle Savior,
Hear my humble cry;
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.

o Refrain:
Savior, Savior,
Hear my humble cry,
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.

2. Let me at Thy throne of mercy
Find a sweet relief;
Kneeling there in deep contrition,
Help my unbelief.

3. Trusting only in Thy merit,
Would I seek Thy face;
Heal my wounded, broken spirit,
Save me by Thy grace.

4. Thou the spring of all my comfort,
More than life to me,
Whom have I on earth beside Thee,
Whom in Heav’n but Thee.

*Text: “We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.”1 John 3:14*

Death in scripture is not just the termination of life. It’s something far bigger than termination of life. God told Adam he was going to die after eating the forbidden fruit. We all know that he did not die immediately physically. The death here was a separation from God. Separation from all that is God’s purpose and intent for man. Death in our context today also represents the manifestations of the work of sin in a man’s life.

One thing is very clear to us as believers. It’s something we must know very well. We have passed from death to life. That’s the revelation in our opening verse today. Life here does not just mean being alive. It means the manifestations of God in humanity. Life means the outworking of the life of God in man.
We have passed from death to life. The manifestations of sin and the works of the devil has no more hold on our lives. This is a reality of the new creation that must be very clear to us. We are no longer victims to the circumstances of life. Now we have come into the manifestations of the life of God in humanity. All of God is made available to us by virtue of the new birth.

From this perspective we can face life from the stand point of “life” and not “death.” Let this become an overwhelming thought for you as you go about your life today. You have passed from death to life. It’s a done deal already; you are not praying or trying to make the switch. It’s done already in Christ. With this understanding it means that whatever you are involved in must also experience the very touch of the life of God. The life of God is over your family, over your business, over your academics…. continue the list!

Your life is completely out of the domain of death. In Christ this eternal switch was made.

[7/6, 6:43 AM] Emm: Perfect morning sir & ma.

Welcome to the month of productivity.

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous (1 JOHN 2:1).

1 John 3:9 says, “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin….” Some have misunderstood this and ran off with the wrong idea that whatever they do is right, because as Christians, they can’t sin. Yes, for the Christian, sin isn’t compulsory, but we don’t judge righteousness by what a Christian does; we judge righteousness by the light of Christ and His Word.

The Bible talks about walking in the light as He is in the light (1 John 1:7). How consistent are your actions with the rightness of God? That’s how you know what’s right from what’s wrong. If you declare that whatever you do is right, that makes you the standard of rightness and of righteousness. But you’re not the standard of righteousness.

For example, we read in 1 Corinthians 2:16 that “…we have the mind of Christ”; this doesn’t mean every thought of your heart, therefore, is always right. Yes, we have the rightness of God, but He tells us in Romans 12:2, “Be not conformed to this world, but be transfigured by the renewing of your mind.” Even though you’re born again, your mind still needs to be renewed.

Let’s look at our theme verse again; it says, “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not….” If it weren’t possible for you to sin, He wouldn’t have said “I’m writing this to you so that you don’t sin.” But at the same time, He lets you know sin isn’t compulsory; you don’t have to sin. That’s the reason for the very next statement: “If any man sin”; instead of “When any man sins.” He creates a balance.

Don’t go from one extreme of “Sin is compulsory as long as we’re in this flesh” to the other extreme of “Whatever I do is right”; no! Your actions, thoughts, behavior, responses and reactions must be consistent with the Word of God, with the righteousness of Christ, for He is the standard of righteousness. Hallelujah!

Dear Father, I thank you for your grace and the power of your righteousness at work in me! I live free from sin and sin-consciousness, producing fruits of righteousness and good works, manifesting the love of Christ today and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Romans 6:1-2
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

1 John 2:29 AMPC
If you know (perceive and are sure) that He [Christ] is [absolutely] righteous [conforming to the Father’s will in purpose, thought, and action], you may also know (be sure) that everyone who does righteously [and is therefore in like manner conformed to the divine will] is born (begotten) of Him [God]

2 Corinthians 5:21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
