[8/1, 6:20 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: *LIFE AND FAVOUR*
*Rev. Anthony Akinmoyo,*
Lifeway Christian Centre,
*SUPERNATURAL SHIFT AND LIFTING*
Psalm 84:7 (KJV)
*They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.*
We are serving a God of supernatural shift and lifting. This is one of the major peculiarities of God. He is a lifter and shifter of men. He never leaves you at the point He meets you. The above scripture says, anyone that appears before Him moves from strength to strength.
2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV)
*But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.*
Beloved, may I let you know that God is a value added God. He does that to anyone who encounters Him and walks with Him. All through the scripture, no single person that walked with God remained the same.
Since God changes not, it is therefore abnormal to be in Christ and be stagnated in life. I consider it as an abuse of association to be walking with God and remain in one spot, year in, year out.
Abraham was still living in his father’s house at seventy five but when he encountered God, his life changed. He became a channel of blessing to humanity. See Genesis 12:2-3
Walking with God made Abraham to become a father of nations, father of blessings and a father of faith.
Moses was a fugitive in the wilderness for forty years until he encountered God. He followed goats and sheep until the day he got to the mountain of the Lord (Horeb), His life never remained the same.
Exodus 3:1, 10 (KJV)
*Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.*
*Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.*
God shifted him from the wilderness to become a captain of the nation. He became a deliverer, He broke the bondage of captivity of four hundred and thirty years. I see the same God shifting and lifting your destiny forward in the mighty name of Jesus!
Joseph was shifted from prison to palace, he became a generational leader, governor, global economic decision maker. Slave Esther to Queen Esther, Elisha an unknown farmer to a prophet of nation.
God indeed is a lifter of men.
Malachi 3:6 (KJV)
*For I am the Lord , I change not…*
Beloved, as we all encounter God through salvation, let us continually and consciously be walking with Him, with a perfect heart and we would not be able to comprehend what He will do with our lives.
1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJV)
*But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.*
> Thank you my Father for the joy and privilege of seeing a new month.
> Thank you my Father for the gift of life and salvation of my soul.
> Thank you Lord for your mercies and goodness towards me and my family.
> Thank you my Father for always being mindful of me.
> Thank you for protection, provision and promotion.

5. Genesis 22:17 (KJV)
*That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;*
i. O Lord my God, bless me indeed and multiply me as the stars of heaven in the mighty name of Jesus!
ii. O Lord my Father, bless me according to your greatness in the mighty name of Jesus!
6. Numbers 10:33 (KJV)

O Lord my King, let your presence go before me into the new month and secure rest for me in the mighty name of Jesus!
7. Isaiah 45:2 (KJV)
*I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:*
O Lord my God, let your presence and glory go before me and level all obstacles on the way in the mighty name of Jesus!
8. Isaiah 45:3 (KJV)
*And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord , which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.*
O Lord my God, grant me access to hidden treasures in the mighty name of Jesus!
9. O Lord my Father, grant me divine ideas and inspiration for unprecedented exploits in the mighty name of Jesus!
10. Romans 8:28 (KJV)
*And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.*
O Lord my God, let this global challenge give birth to unprecedented revival in the mighty name of Jesus!
Thank you Father for working exceedingly and abundantly above all that I ask or think.
Receive my thanks and praise in the mighty name of Jesus!
See you tomorrow.
*Pray without ceasing.*

A certain man advised his son who was a Christian against being too active for Jesus Christ. He was concerned that the son could lose his life for serving Jesus Christ and preaching the Gospel. But the son replied, “Dad, I’m only doing what Jesus said I should do; I’m serving Him with my life.”
The man was offended and said with acerbity, “You’re doing what Jesus said you should do? That’s why He died young; at thirty-three! They killed Him!” Like that man, there’re many who neither understand Christ’s purpose, nor the meaning of life. It’s not how long you live; it’s about the life you live.
The truth is, for such people, the issue really isn’t that they want to live long or want their loved ones to live long. If that were the case, God promised them eternity; their real problem is the fear of death.
As long as the fear of death dominates a man, he can’t live to his best potentials; he can’t fulfil his calling in life. He’ll say and do things he really doesn’t believe, all in a bid to save his life. But we read in our opening verse, “…whosoever will save his life lose it….” Live your life for Christ unreservedly! You’ve got to be able so say, “Come what may, I stand for Jesus Christ and His Kingdom! I’ll preach the Gospel, no matter what!”
Remember what He said in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” As you go about preaching the Gospel, especially in these last days, be fearless, for the Lord Himself is your defence. Even now, He’s saying to you the very same words He said to the Apostle Paul in Acts 18:10, “For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.”
I live in the realm of life, where death has no power. I’m crucified with Christ; nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me. Hallelujah!
*Colossians 3:23-24* Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.*
*1 Corinthians 15:58; Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.*
*Acts 20:24: But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.*

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 2 Kings 20-21
AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE
HYMN 18: MY FAITH LOOKS UP TO THEE.
1. My faith looks up to Thee,
Thou Lamb of Calvary,
Now hear me while I pray,
Take all my guilt away,
Oh, let me from this day
Be wholly Thine!
2. May Thy rich grace impart
Strength to my fainting heart,
My zeal inspire!
As Thou hast died for me,
Oh, may my love to Thee
Pure, warm, and changeless be,
A living fire!
3. While life’s dark maze I tread,
And griefs around me spread,
Be Thou my guide;
Bid darkness turn to day,
Wipe sorrow’s tears away,
Nor let me ever stray
From Thee aside.
4. When ends life’s transient dream,
When death’s cold, sullen stream
Shall o’er me roll;
Blest Savior, then in love,
Fear and distrust remove;
Oh, bear me safe above,
A ransomed soul!
