[8/14, 5:13 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: *LIFE AND FAVOUR*

*Rev. Anthony Akinmoyo,*
Lifeway Christian Centre,

Romans 8:19 (KJV)
*For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.*

James 1:27 (KJV)
*Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.*

The greatest tragedy in life is not death, but life without impact and significance. Your life is as a result of a purpose in God’s mind that requires your existence, discover and pursue it. The desire of everybody is to live long but many don’t consider why they are living at all.

Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV)
*Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.*

I challenge you today to get out of the crowd. Don’t just live to survive, but live to make impact and make the world a better place.

Luke 24:44 (KJV)
*And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.*

Identify what you are sent here to do and pursue it, for success is not determined by your acquisition of wealth but your determination to please the Lord always.

Jude 1:22 (KJV)
*And of some have compassion, making a difference:*

Get out and help someone today; wipe away tears from people’s faces; represent Jesus anywhere you find yourself. As scripture says, we are His ambassadors. See 2 Corinthians 5:20.

Acts 10:38 (KJV)
*How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.*

When Jesus put on humanity, He went about everyday looking for who to help. Matthew 9:36 says, *”He saw the crowd and had compassion on them.* Matthew 14:20 says, *”He fed the multitude.”* The same is expected of us every day. Show someone little kindness, send someone to school, even if it is elementary (primary) you have the power for now, pay someone’s rent and bills. Invest in humanity. Let men see Christ in you always. Let us see Job’s profile and gain wisdom.
See Job 29:11-17,19

A. He rescued the poor

B. Father to the fatherless

C. He helped the dying man.

D. He made the widow’s heart sing for joy.

E. He was eyes to the blind

F. He was feet to the lame

G. Father to the poor

H. Helper to strangers

I. Rescued people from oppression

It is my prayer that your action will come before the Lord as a memorial.

Acts 10:4 (KJV)
*And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.*

Finally beloved, no one lives and die unto himself. Your choice today will affect humanity and generations to come. Let your life be a stepping stone and not a stumbling block.

> Thank you my Lord for your mercies and loving kindness towards me and my household.

> Thank you my Lord for the gift of life and salvation of my soul.

> Thank you my Lord for supplying all of my needs.

> Thank you my Father for the blessing of wonderful family.

1. 2 Corinthians 5:15 (KJV)
*And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.*

O Lord my God, grant me grace to live for your purpose on earth in the mighty name of Jesus!

2. Matthew 5:16 (KJV)
*Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.*

O Lord my Father, let my action cause men to continually bring glory to your name in the mighty name of Jesus!

3. Matthew 9:36 (KJV)
*But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.*

O Lord my God, grant me a compassionate heart towards all men in the mighty name of Jesus!

4. 1 Peter 3:8 (KJV)
*Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:*

O Lord my God, deliver me and my generation from the spell of selfishness in the mighty name of Jesus!

5. Lamentations 3:51 (KJV)
*Mine eye affecteth mine heart because of all the daughters of my city.*

Sweet Holy Spirit let this decadence in our society affect my heart so that I can begin to make a positive impact in the mighty name of Jesus!

6. Mark 4:32 (KJV)
*But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.*

O Lord my God, empower me financially to be a burden bearer in the mighty name of Jesus!

7. Genesis 12:2 (KJV)
*And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:*

i. O Lord my God, entrust kingdom wealth into my care in the mighty name of Jesus!

ii. O Lord my God, make me a blessing indeed to humanity in the mighty name of Jesus!

8. 1 Kings 4:29 (KJV)
*And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore.*

O Lord my God, give me a large heart to accommodate many in the mighty name of Jesus!

9. Isaiah 4:5 (KJV)
*And the Lord will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.*

i. O Lord my God, defend your blessings in my life in the mighty name of Jesus!

ii. O Lord my God, do not let the hand of the wicked access my life in the mighty name of Jesus!

10. Isaiah 60:11 (KJV)
*Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.*

O Lord my Father, open unto me the flood gates of prosperity in the mighty name of Jesus!

Thank you Father for working exceedingly and abundantly above all that I ask or think.

Receive my thanks and praise in the mighty name of Jesus!

See you tomorrow.
*Rejoice evermore.*
*Pray without ceasing.*
1 Thessalonians 5:16-17 (KJV)

Pastor Chris

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).

Hope is a good virtue, but it doesn’t change your condition. There’s a difference between faith and hope. Hope is future; but faith is NOW. Understand it from this perspective: Jesus was prophesied as the hope of the nations; He was the hope of Israel; He was called the hope of salvation.

In other words, if man would ever be saved, the Son of God would have to come; there would have to be the sacrifice for the sins of the world, and Jesus was that sacrifice. When John the Baptist saw Him, he exclaimed, “…Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world” (John 1:29).

Now, Jesus came and fulfilled the plan of God. He was crucified in our place. He paid the full price for man’s sin and then God raised Him up to give us the inheritance. Colossians 1:12 says, “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.” Now that God has given us the inheritance through Jesus Christ, there’s no reason to hope for it.

“Hope” (Jesus) came and completely fulfilled everything that God sent Him to give us and to do for us. Hallelujah! Everything you could ever desire of God has been consummated, accomplished, and granted you in Jesus Christ. You now must act your faith.

Don’t say, “I hope someday this sickness will leave my body”; stop hoping; act your faith. If the condition must change, it’s got to be by faith. Faith takes possession NOW! Hallelujah!

My faith is active and prevails now! In the Name of Jesus, I walk in the light of my inheritance in Christ, in power and grace, living in divine health and supernatural prosperity. I’m victorious evermore, because I live in and by the Word. Amen.

Ephesians 6:16
“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.”
1 John 5:4
“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”
Hebrews 11:1
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

*No longer at ease in Zion*
*Text*: Amos 6:1
_”Woe to you who are at ease in Zion, and trust in Mount Samaria, notable persons in the chief nation, to whom the house of Israel comes!_.”

*# Your FAITH will determine your FATE #*

If you rely on your beauty, the expensive wears and make ups, you have become at ease in Zion. Have you forgotten that it is written, _”Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised_.”(Prov 31:30). Beauty is good but it cannot stand alone. Charm is beautiful but can become a curse if made to stand on its own. However, to be beautiful and charming with the fear of the Lord is the way to go.

Although money is good and riches are desirable, but if you put your confidence in your wealth or the wealth of your parents, woe to you, because you are at ease in Zion. The Bible says, _”Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy._”(I Tim 6:17). There is no certainty in riches. Prov 23:5 says further, _”Will you set your eyes on that which is not for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away like an eagle toward heaven_.”

To be at ease in Zion is to put your faith in the things of this world. When you put your faith in beauty and or riches, you seal your fate in the fleating shadows of life. As believers, our faith is in the finished work of Christ Jesus. The world and all it has to offer will pass away. It is written, _”Like a cloak You will fold them up, and they will be changed. But You are the same, and Your years will not fail._” (Heb 1:12). Put your faith in the Lord and not in the Mount of Samaria.

Shalom* !
