[9/20, 12:43 PM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: *LIFE AND FAVOUR*
FROM:

*PRAYER FOR TODAY’S SERVICE*

Isaiah 62:6-7 (KJV)
[6] *I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord , keep not silence,* [7] *And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.*

When we go into prayer, we are exchanging our weakness for God’s strength. We put away human limitation and step into the unlimited realm of God.

Also, strong prayer will make strong preaching, good unction to be available and make the message to stick to the heart of men, thereby producing tremendous result and testimonies in our lives.

Therefore, arise and take today’s service to the Lord in prayer.

*BASIC TRUTHS ON IDENTITY*

*Text: “But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child; for thou shall go to all that I send thee..” Jeremiah 1:7*

Nothing truly defines your identity outside God.
Whatever defines God is what defines you.
What God calls you is what matters and not what circumstances call you.
God calls you what men don’t see.
One fundamental step to stability and success is to accept God’s identity over our lives.
Whatever God says is our true identity even if nothing in the physical says so.
A right or wrong identity will have a direct effect on your relationships, business, careers and everything you do.

I. The way you feel when you are having money is the same way you should feel when you don’t have a single dime. Because your identity is not money defined but Christ defined.

II. The way you feel when you had a good job is the same way you should feel when a job is lost. This is because the job was never your source but God.

III. The way you feel when you had a relationship is the same way you should feel when you lost a relationship. Because it wasn’t the individual that gave you an identity in the first place and cannot take it away from you.
If the only identity you have is the one a job or a title gave you the identity will be lost as soon as any of that is gone. Stability of life will require that we find our identity in what will never change; which is obviously only the identity God gave us. The word of God is a book of identity. Get to know it.

*CONFESSION:*
My identity is found in God. The circumstances of life does not define me.

Emmanuel Oshevire: MILLIONAIRE EMBRACE|
Sunday, Sept., 20th 2020

Success Is A Collection Of Relationships

And when James, Cephas and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that had been given to me, they gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, that we (Should go) to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised. Galatians 2:9 (NKJV)

There is a grace that attracts the right people to you. There is an aroma of God that if it comes on you will make men extend to you the right hand of fellowship. This is because relationship is critical to your success in life. No matter your vision, expertise and skills, you will always require a right hand of fellowship from others. It was Barnabas that introduced Paul to the Apostles and it was the Apostles that endorsed him to work in the ministry.

Success is a collection of relationships. Every loss you suffer is a sign that a necessary relationship is not in place because profitable relationships put an end to losses. Relationship can prevent losses and it is also a platform for recovery from losses. Nothing will take you to the next level like relationships. One of the ways you will be sure of your connection to God is that you have the right contacts around you. A contact is a medium to secure contracts; therefore, it is expedient that you develop good people’s management skill so that you can maximize the relationships God is bringing your way.

The truth is, every human being on earth is an experience, when people come around you, what is their experience? Is it sweet or bitter? Pleasant or horrible? Apostle Paul admonished us in Ephesians 4:32 that we should be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave us.

As we all grow in grace, understand that people are not perfect so you must never be hateful as nobody is worth hating, rather you must be magnanimous to people when they hurt you and maintain a sweet spirit that is void of offence always.

PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for opening my eyes to the importance of right relationships in my life, I receive grace for right contacts and I maintain a heart free of offence around people, in Jesus’ Name.

KEEP IN MIND
Nothing will take you to the next level like relationships.
Good Morning

Emmanuel Oshevire:
OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DATE: SUNDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER 2020.

THEME: BECOMING AN EXEMPLARY LEADER IV.

MEMORISE:

And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Genesis 11:6

READ: Genesis 11:1-8

1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.

2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.

3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.

4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.

6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.

8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

MESSAGE:

A great leader must be able to foster unity amongst his/her followers. Unfortunately, many leaders fall short of this and it limits the achievement of their goals. In today’s memory verse, God said “The people is one.” Grammarians could argue that after ‘people’, ‘are’ should follow, but God used ‘is’ to show how unified the people were.

This unity would have made them achieve their goal if God had not intervened (Genesis 11:6).

What then is that vison of your that looks impossible to achieve? Rest assured that if you have a united team working on it, you can pull it off. Jesus’ earthly ministry only lasted three years, yet thousands of years after, His gospel is still spreading like wildfire. This is as a result of the Holy Ghost in our midst, who did not come down until the Apostles were in one accord (Acts 2:1-3). The Holy Ghost leveraged their unity to spread the gospel.

To foster unity amongst your followers, don’t give any room for gossiping or backbiting. If you do, it can cost you your vision.

Also, you cannot afford to show you have a favorite follower. Even though John was Jesus’ favorite amongst His disciples, He was careful not to ever mention it. Jesus had refused to answer a question that others asked Him. But He could not refuse John, so He answered with an analogy, so as not to raise eyebrows in John 13:25-26:
“He then lying on Jesus’ breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it? Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.”

Finally, unity is fostered by humility. When the system is just and everyone is working to achieve the same goal, there will be progress. Remember, the Lord said: a Kingdom divided against itself shall not stand (Mark 3:24).

KEY POINT:

If you can ensure unity amongst your followers, there will be no point too high for you to reach.

HYMN 18: MY FAITH LOOKS UP TO THEE.

1. My faith looks up to Thee,
Thou Lamb of Calvary,
Savior divine!
Now hear me while I pray,
Take all my guilt away,
Oh, let me from this day
Be wholly Thine!

2. May Thy rich grace impart
Strength to my fainting heart,
My zeal inspire!
As Thou hast died for me,
Oh, may my love to Thee
Pure, warm, and changeless be,
A living fire!

3. While life’s dark maze I tread,
And griefs around me spread,
Be Thou my guide;
Bid darkness turn to day,
Wipe sorrow’s tears away,
Nor let me ever stray
From Thee aside.

4. When ends life’s transient dream,
When death’s cold, sullen stream
Shall o’er me roll;
Blest Savior, then in love,
Fear and distrust remove;
Oh, bear me safe above,
A ransomed soul!
