[9/26, 6:58 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: *LIFE AND FAVOUR*

*Rev Anthony Akinmoyo*
Lifeway Christian Centre,

Romans 8:16 (KJV)
*The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:*

Psalm 82:6 (KJV)
*I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.*

The greatest battle the devil is fighting over your life is for you not to understand the rights and privileges salvation has bestowed on you. Because understanding your son-ship right is the master key to your liberty and fulfilment of your glorious destiny.

2 Corinthians 4:4 (KJV)
*In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.*

Beloved, you are no longer who you used to be before you were saved. You are now a citizen of heaven, you have been raised up together with Jesus Christ and you are now seated in heavenly places far above principalities and powers. See *Eph 1: 19 – 21, 2: 6.*

Therefore, you are a citizen of the kingdom of God, only on a mission in the earthly realm.

Philippians 3:20 (NLT)
*But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.*

Your presence on earth is on ambassadorial duty, that Is, representing the highest kingdom and authority.

2 Corinthians 5:20 (KJV)
*Now then we are ambassadors for Christ…*

When you allow this truth to permeate into your spirit and soul, you will be permanently set free from all the lies and manipulations of the wicked.

Friends, may I let you know that Satan is not after your money or other material things because he has all these things. He is after your understanding of your real and true identity in Christ. He does this by giving you wrong picture of yourself. He tells some that they are poor, broke, sick, ugly, barren etc. If you don’t believe in his lies, he cannot cage you.

John 8:44 (KJV)
*Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.*

Beloved, do not define or describe yourself by the unpleasant situations but by the mirror of the Word of God.

Psalm 82:5-7 (KJV)
[5] *They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.*
[6] *I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.*
[7] *But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.*

If you don’t know who you are, you will end up like mere men.
Beloved,you are a god.
Be in charge and be in control.
You are redeemed to reign.

> Thank you my Father for this beautiful day you have made.

> Thank you my Lord for the gift of life and salvation of my soul.

> Thank you my Lord for adopting me into your holy family.

*Occupy till I come*
*Text:* Luke 19:13
_”And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.”_ (KJV)

To occupy means:
– Take territories
– Take charge/control
– Put your hands to work
– Keep watch

*# Your POUND will attract PERSECUTION from others #*
The enemy will raise up persecution because of the gifts the Lord has blessed you with. The anointing will draw annoyance from the kingdom of darkness. The Bible says, _”But his citizens hated him, and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We will not have this man to reign over us.’_ (Luke 9:14). Do not expect everyone to praise you but may actually persecute you because of the grace you carry. Jesus told us saying, “…….. _Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble.”_(Mark 4:17). Do not stumble when persecutions arise because of what you carry!

2 Tim 3:12 says, _”Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”_ The pursuit of your purpose will attract persecution from the camp of the enemy. But that should spur us on as we know that fulfilling godly purpose produces great gain. It is written, _”Now godliness with contentment is great gain.”_(1 Tim 6:6). Sometimes God uses persecution of the enemy to bring out His good purpose in our lives. When you are pressed because of the grace on your life, you will release the fragrance of His glory. Your best is hidden in the crucible of persecution.

Shalom !

[9/26, 6:58 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: How to fight – and win

Saturday 26th September 2020

‘Fight the good fight of faith…to which you were…called.’ 1 Timothy 6:12 NKJV

Here are six proven Bible strategies for defeating the enemy when he comes against you. (1) Think aggressively. ‘Fight the good fight of faith…to which you were…called’ (1 Timothy 6:12 NKJV). Plan and calculate like a general preparing for battle; study how to engage and defeat your enemy the devil. (2) Pray aggressively. We are told to approach God’s throne ‘boldly’ (see Hebrews 4:16). Which means aggressively! Don’t be bashful with God. He’s your ‘Abba’, which means ‘Daddy’. And you’re his redeemed child, so approach him with confidence and ask for what you need.

(3) Speak fearlessly. The apostle Peter writes, ‘Speak as though God himself were speaking through you’ (1 Peter 4:11 NLT). In other words, use an authoritative tone when you resist the forces of evil. ‘Be strong in the Lord’ (Ephesians 6:10 NKJV). (4) Give generously. The level at which you give is the level at which you receive. ‘Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything. The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed’ (Proverbs 11:24-25 NLT). No offering is too small or too great.

(5) Work intently. The Bible says whatever you put your hand to, do it with all your heart (seeEcclesiastes 9:10). Don’t approach your tasks with dread and a desire to escape. Stir yourself up in the Holy Spirit and get the job done (see 2 Timothy 1:6). (6) Love unconditionally. As a follower of Christ, you must endeavour to love others as he loves them – unconditionally and sacrificially.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Isaiah 43:2

READ: Psalm 139:7-12

7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;

10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.

12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

God is Omnipresent- He is everywhere and sees everything at the same time. It does not matter what you are going through, He is right by your side.

When the three Hebrew boys were facing King Nebuchadnezzar, to an outsider, it may have appeared they were on their own without any help whatsoever. However, the boys were confident; they knew who they believed. They were even bold enough to add that they would still not bow to any idol if God decided not to rescue them.

Many times, we don’t feel God by our side when we are facing trials, but He is there. You will realize it when you are in the furnace and the fire burns off your chains leaving you unharmed.

God’s eyes are on you even when you are about to commit sin. A Pastor is said to have taken a female member of his church to a hotel with the intent of committing fornication. When they got in and the Pastor tried to touch her, she said “Sir, we looked left and right to be sure no one could see us, but we did not look up. God can see us” She could feel that God could see them, so she fled.

You cannot hide anything from God. You may pretend to people in Church, but He knows your secrets. Your spouse may not be able to access your phone, but God knows all your conversations; you can deceive everyone but not Him.

According to Luke 8:17, knowing that God can expose you should make you repent.
“For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.”

Don’t continue in sin because sooner or later, every secret will be made open. I hope you make a change immediately. He has not yet revealed your sin because He wants you to have a chance to repent. If you refuse to repent, He will expose you and that would be dangerous.

God is omnipresent and omniscient. Don’t wait to be exposed; make amends where necessary right away. Tomorrow may be too late.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Nehemiah 6-7.

1. Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee;
Let the water and the blood,
From Thy wounded side which flowed,
Be of sin the double cure,
Save from wrath and make me pure.

2. Not the labor of my hands
Can fulfill Thy law’s demands;
Could my zeal no respite know,
Could my tears forever flow,
All for sin could not atone;
Thou must save, and Thou alone.

3. Nothing in my hand I bring,
Simply to Thy cross I cling;
Naked, come to Thee for dress;
Helpless, look to Thee for grace;
Foul, I to the fountain fly;
Wash me, Savior, or I die.

4. While I draw this fleeting breath,
When my eyes shall close in death,
When I rise to worlds unknown,
And behold Thee on Thy throne,
Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee.

26th September, 2020
Daily Devotional by Dr Pastor Paul Enenche

*SCRIPTURE* 📖: Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen. Romans 15:33

*THOUGHT FOR THE DAY* 🤔: It is not possible for anyone to have true peace without knowing God.

🗣️: We have seen in our previous studies, what peace is all about. We also saw the necessity of peace.

*Today, we shall be looking at some key facts on peace* .

*1. God is the God of peace* .
God is the Owner, Custodian, and Author of peace. This implies that it is not possible for anyone to have true peace without knowing God. So, God is the Author of peace. No wonder, Romans 15:33 says, Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

God is the God of peace. This is also confirmed in other scriptures like Romans 16:20; 1 Corinthians 14:33; 1 Thessalonians 5:23, and Hebrews 13:20.

You see, you are not permitted to know God and your life is crisis-full, pressure-full, or “peace-less”. No! God is the God of peace.

*2. Peace is a blessing and provision of God for His people* .
God is not just the God of peace; He provides peace for His people.

It is God’s will to bless His people with peace. Peace is a blessing and provision of God for His people (Psalm) 29:11. Peace is an ordination for God’s people (Isaiah 26:12). The Kingdom of God is a Kingdom of peace, a Kingdom of joy, and a Kingdom of righteousness (Romans 14:17). Halleluiah!

*3. The covenant of peace connects God’s people to the peace of God* .
God is the God of peace. Peace is His blessing for you, but you connect that peace from the covenant of peace (Isaiah 54:10, Ezekiel 34:25-26, Ezekiel 37:26, Malachi 2:4-5)

Now, covenant with God implies demands to be met by man for deliveries to be made by God. For example, when we talk about the covenant of service, it requires the scriptural demand for service to be met by man before he can access the deliveries of supernatural supplies and good health from God. Exodus 23:25 says, “And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee”.

This means, if you want God to bless you, you must serve Him. In the same way, in walking in the covenant of peace, there are demands to be met by man in order for the delivery of peace to be made by God. Romans 14:19 says, Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

So, there are things that make for peace, and when you follow those things, you access the peace of God.

Remember this💡: “it is not possible for anyone to have true peace without knowing God.”

*1. Surrender and dedicate your life to Jesus Christ, the Prince of peace, in order to experience the peace of God* .

*2. Repent from every sin in your life because there is no peace for the wicked (Isaiah 48:22)* .

*3. Strive to know God more daily and connect with the Covenant of peace* .

*PRAYER* 🙏🏼: O Lord, I thank You for showing me the pathways of peace. I ask that You make me know You more in order to live in peace always, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

*QUOTE* : “There are many who had lost their peace, but went on with a journey, and lost their lives”. Culled from “15 KINGDOM STRATEGIES FOR SURVIVAL” by Dr Paul Enenche.

*DAILY READING📖: Micah 6-Nahum* 1

*AMAZING FACT* 😳: A swarm of army ants can be as long as 100m in length. Scary! The world’s smallest ant is the Pharaoh ant, which is a teeny 2mm long.

*PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD* 🔊🌧️: Receive Grace to fulfil the demands for walking in His Peace in Jesus’ Name.

*Good Morning* 🌻🌹
