[9/28, 7:17 AM] faithemm2015: *LIFE AND FAVOUR*

*Rev. Anthony Akinmoyo,*
Lifeway Christian Centre,

Galatians 4:1-2 (KJV)
[1] *Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;*
[2] *But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.*

When you surrender your life to Jesus at new birth, you were born as a child with the ability and power to grow into sonship.

We all need to grow and mature into sonship before our inheritance can be handed over to us. The above scripture says, *”as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant.”* If you don’t make conscious effort to grow, you may have to live as a servant because inheritance cannot be handed over to children.

We need to become permanent students of the bible thereby we can grow up.

1 Peter 2:2 (KJV)
*As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:*

We need to have accurate knowledge of our divine nature and the benefits salvation has bestowed on us. Bear in mind that God will not allow us to live in a realm that we don’t have accurate knowledge of the dimensions of its operations. The more scriptural knowledge we have the more grace God will release on us.

2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)
*Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.*

Until you are approved of God, inheritance of power, glory, honour, riches, wisdom, strength cannot be handed over to you.

This is another channel of growing into maturity. It is the spiritual exercise that grows us into sonship. We must maintain strong relationship via fellowship with God.

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
*But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.*

Prayer and fasting empower our spirit man whereby we grow into maturity.

> Thank you my Father for giving me another new day and week.

> Thank you Lord for the joy of seeing the last week of this month.

> Thank you Lord for the abundance of all good things our souls desire.

> Thank you for divine protection and promotion.

2. Job 23:12 (KJV)

3. 2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV)
*But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.*

[9/28, 7:17 AM] faithemm2015: OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 2 Timothy 2:19

READ: Psalm 10:4-11

4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

5 His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.

6 He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.

7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.

8 He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.

9 He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.

10 He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.

11 He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.

The line between holiness and sin appears to be disappearing as sinful people now parade themselves as righteous. The truth however is that the world may change, but God’s standard never changes. He will not lower His standard to accommodate anyone; rather, He will give you grace to meet up with it. In order to receive that grace, you would have to take a step towards meeting God’s standards. James 4:8 says:
“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”

You will need to root out and tear down everything that is in opposition to holy living in your life, then He will grant you the grace to live holy. When I see people, who say they want to live holy lives still entertaining sin, I know they are not yet ready. Is there any friend that can lure you into sin? Any television show you watch that promotes sinful habits? Any place you like to visit that makes it comfortable to commit sin? Stay away from all such things from today.

James 4:8 also talks about the double-minded. These are people who have one leg in the Church and the other leg out; people who claim to live holy but willfully commit sin from time to time. James urges such people to purify their heart. With God, there is no sitting on the fence. There is no lukewarmness with Him; you are either hot or cold, in or out. He says in Revelation 3:15-16:
“ I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.”

If you are claiming to be His child and still engage in sin from time to time. Stop deceiving yourself; you are not. Maintain the standard of holiness in all ways; that is the master key to heaven

God will not lower His standard of holiness for anyone.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Nehemiah 11-13. Psalm 126

1. I have decided to follow Jesus;
I have decided to follow Jesus;
I have decided to follow Jesus;
No turning back, no turning back.

2. The world behind me, the cross before me;
The world behind me, the cross before me;
The world behind me, the cross before me;
No turning back, no turning back.

3. Though none go with me, still I will follow;
Though none go with me, still I will follow;
Though none go with me, still I will follow;
No turning back, no turning back.

4. My cross I’ll carry, till I see Jesus;
My cross I’ll carry, till I see Jesus;
My cross I’ll carry, till I see Jesus;
No turning back, no turning back.

5. Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
No turning back, no turning back.

[9/28, 7:17 AM] faithemm2015: Perfect morning sir & ma.

Monday, September 28th .
Pastor Chris

_*He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water (John 7:38).*_

Isaiah 12:3 says, _*“Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.”*_ Wells of salvation refer to all the blessings of Christ inherent in the deep recesses of your spirit. The Bible says out of your spirit are the issues of life. You carry within you a fountain of blessings.

Now, the devil always seeks to block up “the wells.” Think about it in line with what happened in Bible days: whenever an invading force came into a city, they blocked up the wells in that city with dirt to frustrate the inhabitants. The wells were the people’s source of water—a spring of life, as it were.

Isaac suffered a similar ordeal in the hands of the Philistines. In Isaac’s case, the Bible records, _*“For all the wells which his father’s servants had digged in the days of Abraham his father, the Philistines had stopped them, and filled them with earth…And Isaac digged again the wells of water, which they had digged in the days of Abraham his father; for the Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham…”*_ (Genesis 26:15,18).

In the same way that the Philistines stopped the wells of water belonging to Isaac (in order to frustrate him), Satan seeks to clog the wells of living water in your spirit by ensuring the joy of Christ isn’t expressed in your life. He also wants to keep you from ministering the same joy to other people.

His tools for clogging your “wells” include bitterness, jealousy, hatred, resentment, unforgiveness, fear, and judgmental attitude. Don’t allow Satan plant such “dirts” in your life. He knows you can’t live happily, enjoy life or bless your world effectively when you’re angry, resentful and malicious.

Choose rather to let the joy and love of God radiate from within you to others every day and the devil will have no foothold in your life.

*Dear Father, thank you for your love that’s shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit, and for the fullness of Christ in my heart. I’m riding through life gloriously, making progress with giant strides, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *Ephesians 4:31-32* Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. *||*

*||* *James 3:15-17* This wisdom descendeth not from above, but [is] earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife [is], there [is] confusion and every evil work. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, [and] easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. *||*

*||* *Hebrews 12:15* Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble [you], and thereby many be defiled; *||*
