*Growing up into Christ*

*Text:* Eph 4:15-16
_”But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”_

*Ingredients for spiritual growth include:*

*# Grow your faith #*
In Luke 17:5-6, the Bible says, _”And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.” So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.”_
In response to the request of the apostles, Jesus compared faith with a mustard seed. It is not in the “smalleness” of the seed but in its capacity to grow into a fruit-bearing tree. Your faith has the capacity to grow and it is an important area of growth in your Christian walk. Your growth in Christ is directly proportional to the size of your faith.

Faith comes in different sizes from little faith to great faith. Luke 7:9 tells us, _”When Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him, and turned around and said to the crowd that followed Him, “I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!”_ Great faith produces the marvelous! For the world to marvel at your life, you must endeavour to grow your faith till it becomes a great faith. It is not bad to start with a little faith but you must grow thereby. Everyone starts small but the degree of your impact in life and in the Kingdom will depend on the greatness of your faith.

Some of the ways to feed your faith is by practicing what the word of God says. Rom. 10:17 says, _”So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”_ To grow your faith, you must feed on the word continuously. It is not what you heard which grows your faith but what you are hearing per time. Your mouth and your heart is linked together and that is why the Scriptures say, _”For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”_(Rom 10:10). You must continually confess with your mouth what your heart has believed. Keep saying the Scriptures and you will see your faith in the word grow to become great.

Shalom !

[11/6, 6:58 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

Friday, November 6
Pastor Chris

And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18-19).

Living for Jesus Christ and making yourself relevant in the ministry of reconciliation are the things that count the most in life. Your life should be about soul winning. Refuse to make the lesser things of life your focus; be all out for the Gospel.

In 1 Corinthians 9:16, Paul said, “…necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” He lived to fulfil God’s dream of making the Gospel known to the Gentiles. You’re an ambassador and a steward of the mysteries of Christ. You’re a soldier in Christ’s army and must therefore remain militant in bringing God’s Word to those in your world, touching them with the love of Christ and the glory of His grace.

Don’t ignore sinners around you; the end of all things is near, and the Bible says it’s not the will of God that any should perish (2 Peter 3:9). He wants them saved, and He’s counting on you for their salvation.

He said in Romans 10:13-14, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” You’re the preacher, sent of God to those in your world who haven’t yet known the Lord. Don’t let them keep living without hope, and without God in the world. Take advantage of every opportunity to preach the Gospel to them.

Dear Father, thank you for the opportunity to be a minister of reconciliation. My greatest passion is the spread of the Gospel around the world, for I’m an ambassador and a steward of the mysteries of Christ. I bring your Word alive to those in my world, touching them with the love of Christ and the glory of your grace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Matthew 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Mark 16:15
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Hebrews 5:11-6:1-20
Jeremiah 48-49

1 Peter 3:13-22

*You Shall Experience Pleasant Divine Interruptions*

Luke 7:11-15 (LB)
*… Jesus went with his disciples to the village of Nain, … A funeral procession was coming out as he approached the village gate. The boy who had died was the only son of his widowed mother,… When the Lord saw her, his heart overflowed with sympathy. “Don’t cry!” he said. Then he walked over to the coffin and touched it, and the bearers stopped. “Laddie,” he said. “Come back to life again.” Then the boy sat up and began to talk to those around him! And Jesus gave him back to his mother.*

There may be certain things occurring in your life at the moment that you recognise are not the will of God for your life. However, because you feel powerless to change them, you have accepted them as status quo. In the name of Jesus, God is stepping into that situation right now and is turning it around for your good.

The woman in our text above was a widow and had just lost her only son. As they were proceeding with his funeral, Jesus stepped in and interrupted the procession. Love and compassion flowed out from His heart to the woman and without her even asking, Jesus raised her son back to life again. There may be things you may not even want to ask God for because you no longer believe they are possible or believe you do not deserve them. In His own mercy and great overflowing love for you, God is stepping into your life and He is causing a glorious miracle in your life right now! Your eyes shall see it and your mouth shall testify about it. Get ready to experience pleasant divine interruptions in every area of your life and your family.

After toiling all night and catching nothing, Peter was washing his net and preparing to go home empty handed when Jesus showed up and interrupted Peter’s frustration with His divine supply and abundance, Luke 5:1-7. Jesus changed his story and altered his negative expectation. You shall not be put to shame. God is wiping your tears right now. God is bringing about unbelievable restoration into that area of your life. The ‘I AM THAT I AM’ has stepped into your life and your situation. Receive divine strength. Receive divine wisdom. Receive divine favour. Receive miracles now in the name of Jesus!

I worship You, my dear Heavenly Father, for Your great love and compassion towards me. I receive pleasant, divine interruptions into my life.

[11/6, 6:58 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. Psalm 40:5

READ: Psalm 139:17-18

17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

The sand at the beach is literally uncountable, yet the Lord says His precious thoughts outnumber them (Psalm 139:17-18). That is how much God thinks about you and me. No one else will ever think about you that much- not your spouse, not your child, nobody. Nobody will care about you as much as God- your perfect Heavenly Father- thinks and cares about you. Isn’t that awesome.

You may often hear voices in your head saying “No one is going to marry you, you are such a disaster, you are never going to be successful, you will always be at the same point, this sickness will kill you….” But NO! the devil is a liar! Those are not the thoughts of God about you! He says in Jeremiah 29:11:
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
When you are a true child of the living God, He is always with you. In Hebrews 13:5, He says:
“…I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

No matter what you may be going through, God is ever with you, able and willing to help. That is why Psalm 46:1 says:
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

Do you know that as a true child of God you are a friend to Jesus? in John 15:14, He says:
“ Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.”

Jesus loves you so much that He gave His very life for you. The Bible says in John 15:13 that:
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”

The only way you can repay this love of God is to surrender all to Him and continue walking in His will. He thinks a lot about you, don’t disappoint Him.

Isn’t it great to know you are in God’s thoughts and that He wants the best for you always?

1. I am so glad that our Father in Heav’n
Tells of His love in the Book He has giv’n;
Wonderful things in the Bible I see,
This is the dearest, that Jesus loves me.

o Refrain:
I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me;
I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves even me.

2. If I forget Him and wander away,
Still He doth love me wherever I stray;
Back to His dear loving arms would I flee,
When I remember that Jesus loves me.

3. Oh, if there’s only one song I can sing,
When in His beauty I see the great King,
This shall my song through eternity be,
“Oh, what a wonder that Jesus loves me!”

4. Jesus loves me, and I know I love Him;
Love brought Him down my poor soul to redeem;
Yes, it was love made Him die on the tree;
Oh, I am certain that Jesus loves me!

5. If one should ask of me, how can I tell?
Glory to Jesus, I know very well!
God’s Holy Spirit with mine doth agree,
Constantly witnessing Jesus loves me.

6. In this assurance I find sweetest rest,
Trusting in Jesus, I know I am blest;
Satan, dismayed, from my soul now doth flee,
When I just tell him that Jesus loves me.

[11/6, 6:58 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: *Seeds 🥑🥥🍍🍉🍑🍓Of Destiny*
_06 November 2020_
_Daily Devotional by Dr_ _Pastor Paul Enenche_

🗣️A lazy person has no deadline and where there is no deadline, there is no headline.

*SCRIPTURE* 📖: By much slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the house droppeth through. Ecclesiastes10:18

*THOUGHT FOR THE DAY* 🤔: Idleness equals decadence.

It has been established that idleness is a deadly enemy of destiny. A lazy person cannot amount to anything reasonable in life. The indolent cannot fulfil destiny.

*Today, we shall look at the dangers of idleness* .

*1. Indolence is a door way to bondage*

Idleness establishes the life of an idle person in perpetual bondage. Captivity will always lurk around the idle person. The termination of captivity is not for the idle. Victory belongs only to the strong; the audacious are always victorious. Victory belongs to the fighter and not to the indolent person.

*2. Idleness equals decadence (Eccl. 10:18).*

An idle life degenerates in the same way an idle tyre goes flat. An idle life degenerates just the same way an idle or unoccupied house degenerates. Idleness equals decadence.

*3. Idleness paralyzes potential (Eccl. 10:18).*

A man of great potential will become useless in a short time because of the refusal to do anything. He is not profitable to himself; he is not profitable to God and he is not profitable to his nation.

On the other hand, active people are smart people. The more active a person is, the smarter he becomes. A busy person knows how to meet deadlines and get a job done.

It is very important to know this: A lazy person has no deadline and where there is no deadline, there is no headline.

Beloved, always engage your hand in something worthwhile and profitable.

*Remember this: Idleness equals decadence.*

*1. Refuse to attract bondage and decadence through idleness*

*2. Engage your hands profitably* .

*PRAYER* 🙏🏼: O Lord, I refuse to attract bondage and decadence into my life through idleness. I receive the grace to accept responsibility, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

*QUOTE* : The blessing of God is always in search of hard workers. Culled from “21 UNCOMMON KEYS TO FINANCIAL OVERFLOW” by Dr Paul Enenche.

*AMAZING FACT* 😳: A cheetah can go from 0-60 mph in 3 seconds.

*PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD* 🔊🌧️: Grace to escape idleness and its consequences is released upon you in Jesus Name.

Good Morning 🌺🌹
