SCRIPTURE: The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment. Proverbs 12:19

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: There is no destiny for the insincere; there is no future in falsehood and there can be no prospect for the perverted.

Lying is not only when you make a statement that is false,”it is also living a life that is not true. It is living a fake life.

The tragedy is, there is so much fakeness and lie in our generation today. There is the fakeness or the lie of extra body parts, either behind at the lower region or in front at the upper region?  I heard the story of a lady who did breast implant; a constructive plastic breast surgery to make her breasts bigger. One day while she was in an air-plane flying, right in the aircraft, the fake enhanced breast exploded like a bomb because of the cabin pressure. What a life of lie!

There are people today who gained admission into higher institutions with other people’s certificates? What of the person who reduced his/her age in order to get a job? What about those who have transformed their faces with all manner of colours in the name of makeup? They almost turned themselves into village masquerades, looking the opposite of how God created them. What of the man who married a lady and refused to tell her before entering the marriage that he was impotent or that he had had a child with another woman before? What about the lady who lost her fallopian tubes as a result of ectopic pregnancies of sinful origin and refused to disclose it to her spouse before their wedding? Yet for ten years now they have been holding hands together to pray to God for divine intervention.  They have even continued to fast together, trusting God for the fruit of the womb, yet she hid the truth from the husband. What a demonic lie!

Beloved, there is no destiny for the insincere; there is no future in falsehood and there can be no prospect for the perverted.

My counsel is, avoid the lifestyle of lies as you would cancer.

REMEMBER THIS”: There is no destiny for the insincere; there is no future in falsehood and there can be no prospect for the perverted

1. Confess and repent of any lifestyle of lie you have exhibited in time past or are currently living.

2. Be contented; do not struggle to be who you are not.

3. You must realize that whatever God has not given you,”you don’t need.

PRAYER”: Lord,”I ask for Your mercy for living an untrue life in one way or the other. Deliver me from a fake and unrealistic lifestyle. Lord, help me to be contented and live right, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE”: For some people,”the only thing that is true about them is that there is no truth about them. Even their age is a lie. And for some, the name they bear is also a lie. Culled
from Who Are You by Dr Paul Enenche

AMAZING FACT”: The Eagle builds the largest tree nest of all birds,”measuring about 9.5 ft. (2.9 m) across. The largest nest ever found was nearly 10 ft. wide and weighed close to 3 tons

DAILY READING”: Jer 39:1 to 41:18,”2 Tim 1″:1 to 18,”Ps 90″:1-91:16,”Prov 26″:1 to 2

[10/22, 6:09 AM] 919063: God will take care of you

Tuesday 22nd October 2019

‘Don’t worry…your heavenly Father already knows all your needs.’ Matthew 6:31-32 NLT

If God lives within you, shouldn’t it be obvious? How can you say you trust him and then worry obsessively about your health, your kids, your job and your finances? Concern is one thing, but worry is an affront to the God who has never let you down. Paul writes, ‘Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace’ (Philippians 4:6-7 NLT). Pray or worry – those are your options.

Why did Jesus say, ‘Take no thought for tomorrow’ (see Matthew 6:34)? Because when you take thought you try to take control. And when that happens peace goes out the window! Worry is like a snowball; it starts small, and as you keep rolling it forward it becomes big enough to bury you. All that’s necessary to keep a stationary train from moving forward are two six-inch blocks of wood, but once it builds up a head of steam it will crash through a six-foot-thick wall. So stop the worry train before it leaves the station!

God says, ‘My grace is sufficient for you’ (2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV). God will give you only what you need for today; that way you have to keep trusting him for tomorrow. The Bible tells us Jesus is the Good Shepherd who ‘calls his own sheep by name and…walks ahead of them’ (John 10:3-4 NLT). How wonderful. He’s already gone ahead of you to arrange everything. Knowing that should help you face tomorrow, confident that God will take care of you.
