For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:
Proverbs 5:3

*Bible Reading: Proverbs 5:1-13*
1My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:

2 That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.

3 For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:

4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.

5 Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.

6 Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them.

7 Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.

8 Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:

9 Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:

10 Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger;

11 And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,

12 And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;

13 And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!

Women are a blessing to mankind, created by God to address a special need (Genesis 2:18-20). In fact, God’s will and purpose for the human race cannot be accomplished without the wonderful vessel that women are. Why then does the Bible identify some women as ‘strange’ in our memory verse? It is because the character of such women has deviated from the purpose for which God created them. A strange woman is an outsider operating where she does not belong. This includes but is not limited to adultery and fornication. The strange woman is also that woman who inappropriately knows everything about a man who is not her husband. She will likely use that knowledge to manipulate him to her own advantage. Wives, this equally applies to men other than your husband. Many people’s lives have been destroyed through loose talk with strange people about their marriages. Husbands must learn to communicate and relate with their wives and not strange women, so that they can experience the joys and blessings of marriage.

From the time Satan misled Adam and Eve, this world has been full of deceit. You must therefore be on your guard not to get caught in the web of deceit. Strange women are deceitful in everything. They put on the appearance of elegance and perfection but they are empty inside. They pretend they can offer the comfort which a wife should provide, but the wisdom of God says in Proverbs 5:5:

“Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.”

As seen in Proverbs 5:3, they pretend to be sweet and speak with a smile, but they are out to steal from you. A strange woman will steal the happiness of your home, and may even end up stealing your itself. Are you having issues with your spouse? Once you start finding succor elsewhere, you will not be motivated to work on your marriage, and as a consequence, you will continue to drift away from your spouse until your relationship is shipwrecked. At that stage, the strange woman will welcome you with open arms into her bosom. After she gets what she wants from you, you will then discover her true nature and character, but it will be too late. May this never be your experience in Jesus’ Name. listen to this admonition in Proverbs 5:8 so that you don’t get caught in the web of the strange woman. It says:

“Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:”

Check your relationship with the opposite sex: if you discover any undue intimacy that can become inappropriate, end it.

[7/14, 8:05 AM] 919063: Ask God for a strategic plan

Sunday 14th July 2019

‘Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it.”‘ Isaiah 30:21 NKJV

Jesus understood God’s strategic plan for his life – the redemption of humankind – and lived each day of his life in the light of it. At the end of his life he could pray, ‘I have glorified you on the earth. I have finished the work which you have given me to do’ (John 17:4 NKJV).

Strategic planning is critical to success in any undertaking. And as a redeemed child of God, your strategy should come from God, otherwise pressures and people can take you in the wrong direction. Jesus could easily have been sidetracked by the demands of the crowd and the misguided thinking of his disciples. How did he avoid that? By nights spent in prayer, and predawn meetings with his Father seeking guidance. Jesus lived by this principle: ‘The Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does…I judge as God tells me. Therefore, my judgment is just, because I carry out the will of the one who sent me, not my own will’ (John 5:19, 30 NLT).

When seeking a plan for your life, the first book you should read is the Bible. Don’t adopt someone else’s plan unless God told you to do the same thing, or you’ll end up frustrated. You ask, ‘You mean God has a strategy and a plan for my life and that he will reveal it to me?’ Yes. ‘Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it”‘ (Isaiah 30:21 NKJV).

SCRIPTURE: For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it,”and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God”: Hebrews 6:7

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Nothing softens hard life like the rain of the Word.

Yesterday,”we saw that the Word of God is the spiritual rain of the blessing, and that until you sit down with the Word of God, you cannot stand up in satisfaction.

Today, we are going to see how the rain of the Word brings about the blessing”:

1. The rain of the Word softens our grounds for productivity and increase (Hebrews 6:7).

Nothing softens hard grounds like rain from above. In the same manner,”nothing softens hard life like the rain of the Word. When a person says things are hard, all he needs is the rainfall of the Word of God.

2. The rain of the Word waters our seeds and efforts to bring desired results (Hebrews 6″:7).

Many people give offering and pay tithe but nothing changes in their lives because they only do it religiously and not with revelation.

Here is another instance; someone can say: ‘In Jesus’ Name!’ and armed robbers would begin to run. But another person would say: ‘In Jesus’ Name!’ and the robbers would reply back: ‘Be careful with yourself if you don’t want to die now!’ What is the difference? It is the depth from which each person called the Name. The first person spoke from a depth that carried the power which paralysed the robbers,”while the second person did not have a backing depth or revelation behind the Name.

The truth is, it is the rain of the Word, the revelation of the Word that waters our seeds, boosts our efforts and moves to produce results.

Remember this”: Nothing softens hard life like the rain of the Word.

1. List out areas in your life where you tend to experience difficulty.

2. Locate Scriptures that relate to those difficulties,”trust God for the revelation behind the Word.

3. Confront those challenges by releasing the Word revelation as missiles at them.

PRAYER: Father,”I make demands on the power for productivity and increase as I encounter Your Word, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

DAILY BIBLE READING”: 1 Chronicles 16:37 to 18:17,”Romans 2″:1 to 24,”Psalm 10″:16 to 18,”Proverbs 19″:8 to 9

QUOTE: Divine inspiration is key to Divine provision. Culled from 21 UNCOMMON KEYS TO FINANCIAL OVERFLOW by Dr Paul Enenche.

AMAZING FACT: You breathe on average about 8,”409,600 times a year. How much do you think you would have paid yearly if you were to pay for every breath?

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD”: Your eyes will not see calamity; the activity of wicked agents of the devil such as robbers and kidnappers will never happen near where you are forever in Jesus Name.

*God Has Promised You Dominion and Favour on the Earth*

_Isaiah 55:12-13 NKJV)_
_”For you shall go out with joy, and be led with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the Cypress tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”_

As you remain conscious of the fact that you are carrying God’s presence inside you and that you are His worthy ambassador, you shall have dominion and find favour in every place that you find yourself. Listen, “every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the Western Sea, shall be your territory. No man shall be able to stand against you; the Lord your God will put the dread of you and the fear of you upon all the land where you tread, just as He has said to you,” Deut. 11:24-25 (NKJV).

Things that may have been bad before will flourish and work for you. Concerning every place where you are and the things you are engaged in, it shall be said that “this land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited,” (Ezek. 36:35). Isaiah 51 :3 says, “for the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody. Do not be afraid, child of God. Right now I hear God saying to you, “I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that l, the Lord, Who call you by your name: am the God of Israel,” lsa. 45:2-3 (NKJV).

Faith Declaration:
I am a carrier of God’s presence and I am God’s ambassador. Things are working for me and I am unstoppable.

Let It Be Done to Me According to Your Word
by Pastor Ken

But Mary kept all these sayings, pondering them in her heart.

Luke 2:19
Mary was engaged to Joseph.

She was a virgin. How could she bear a son? Yet, “The Holy Spirit will come on you,” Gabriel said, “and the power of the Most High will overshadow you” (Luke 1:35).

Mary answered, “Let it be done to me according to your word” (verse 38).

She was obedient to God, with great faith. Mary acknowledged her “humble state.” She believed the truth that God had “scattered the proud” and “put down the mighty.” While “He exalted the lowly” and “filled the hungry with good things” (Luke 1:48-53).

At Mary’s knee, Jesus learned the songs of Zion. From her lips, Jesus heard the promises of the prophets. Thus, He learned how to trust in God. He also learned to obey, to submit, and to pray.

Mary clapped her hands, rejoicing at His first step and she wept when she saw the blood from His head and feet on the cross. While Jesus was with her, she did her best as His mother. She was the first to believe in Him.

God calls you to be faithful as Mary was. He calls you to stay by Jesus’ side always. May God bless you today and always!

Dear God,
Help me to obey and trust You.
I want to store Your Words in my heart and think about how they apply to my life.
In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
