[12/4, 5:50 AM] 919063: Your divine security detail

Wednesday 4th December 2019

‘The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear him, and delivers them.’ Psalm 34:7 NKJV

Just as a president and a prime minister are constantly surrounded by security guards, as a redeemed child of God you are surrounded by angels. You may not be able to see the president’s or prime minister’s security detail, but just let someone make a threatening move and trained guards instantly form a protective shield around them.

Dr James McConnell, founder of Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle in Belfast, was preaching one night during the Northern Ireland conflict, when a paramilitary leader with a gun came into the church to kill him. Why? Because the man’s wife had become a Christian and her life was so radically changed that he hardly recognised her. The man only took a few steps up the aisle when he stopped dead in his tracks, turned and ran out of the church. What happened? The man, who later became a Christian, testified that he’d seen two big angels standing on either side of Pastor McConnell!

When Paul’s ship encountered a storm and everyone thought they were going to perish, Paul announced: ‘There stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve, saying, “Do not be afraid”…take heart…for I believe God that it will be just as it was told me’ (Acts 27:23-25 NKJV). Today, you have a divine security detail watching over you.

[12/4, 5:52 AM] 919063: Today’s SOD – 2019-12-04

SCRIPTURE: The LORD shall fight for you,”and ye shall hold your peace. Exodus 14″:14.

THOUGHT: When you are dear to God you cannot be dared by any devil; if you are expensive (valuable) to God,”you cannot be expended out of life.

God is in the business of preserving the lives of His people. He is committed to the preservation of the lives of His children. God is not only interested in the battles of His children but He is interested in fighting battles on behalf of His children (Exodus 14″:14). God can kill a person in order to ensure that His children are preserved (Isaiah 43:3).

When Korah,”Dathan and Abiram rose up against Moses in challenge and confrontation, Moses ordered the people to step away from them and he decreed that if Korah, Dathan and Abiram died natural deaths, then, God did not send him. But if the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them, then he was truly called of God. Fearful!

Of course, God answered him! The Bible recorded that before Moses finished speaking, the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up (Numbers 16″:1-35).

Beloved,”when you are dear to God, you cannot be dared by any devil;if you are expensive (valuable) to God, you cannot be expended out of life. The same way nobody trashes valuable things into a trashcan, if your value before God on earth is intact, you cannot be discarded by any witch or wizard.

I decree to you, in this month of December, God shall fight for you. You are not a waste-able material, and you can’t be wasted in Jesus’ Name.

REMEMBER THIS”: When you are dear to God you cannot be dared by any devil; if you are expensive (valuable) to God,”you cannot be expended out of life.

[12/4, 5:53 AM] 919063: MILLIONAIRE EMBRACE|
Wednesday 4th Dec., 2019

Korede & Esther Komaiya

But Jesus called them to [Himself] and said to them, “You know that those who are considered rulers over the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. And whoever of you desires to be first shall be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. Mark 10:42-45

Our anchor scripture today was Jesus’ response to His disciples who obviously were consumed by their lust for position and influence. In the previous chapter Jesus had overheard them arguing amongst themselves about who is the greatest. Now in the following chapter the mother of Jesus’ cousins, the two sons of Zebedee had, come to ask Jesus if He would allow her two sons to sit beside Him in His glory. Of course Jesus did not reprimand them for expressing their desires for leadership and significance but rather He showed them – and He’s showing us the surest path and the best style of leadership any man can embrace – and that is Servant Leadership. This is the wisdom of God revealed to man that, if you desire to be great then be ready to serve others; and if you desire to be the first, then be the slave of all.

Beloved, in this journey the faster you arrive at servanthood the higher you rise but the faster you arrive at being a boss the quicker you fall. It is expedient that you understand the difference between a serving leader and a sitting boss. A sitting boss, in the words of our Lord Jesus, lords it over others and exercises authority over them, but a serving leader leads by examples. The leadership style of Jesus was that of a servant leader and that is what He expects all His followers to emulate.

Anywhere you are be the servant of all. You must humble yourself under the mighty hand of God that He may exalts you in due season. There is a level of humility God must see in you before He can bring certain people under your leadership. You must also lead by examples and build an atmosphere of love where respect for each other is encouraged.

Understand that respect is critical to every soul. No tension should make you speak unbecomingly to anyone around you. How do you do if you are to lead people who are older, more experienced, or are of higher status than you? This is why you must constantly develop your self esteem and level of maturity. Your maturity is highly critical. In any leadership position you find yourself. When age and experience are not on your side, always let maturity be on your side.

Evaluate your style of leadership and ensure you’re a servant leader.

When age and experience are not on your side let maturity be on your side.
Good Morning
