*BE CONSCIOUS OF THE SPIRIT*
*Saturday, March 28th 2020*
*If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit (Galatians 5:25).*
There’s a spirit world that’s greater than this physical world. The physical world is a region or part of the Spirit world. The Bible says God is a Spirit, and He created all things; meaning that there’s a spirit connection to everything that God made. Nothing is detached from Him. In the realm of the spirit, He created a region for the physical man, even though man himself is a spirit being.
God gave man a physical body to live in, while in the physical region of His spiritual world. The earth isn’t a separate entity from God’s realm. Remember, in Genesis 1:2, the Bible says the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. The Spirit of God incubated over the chaotic mass, which means the earth was within the coverage or reach of the Spirit, and governed by the Spirit. Many, because they don’t realise this, and because they haven’t understood the importance of it, limit their lives to the earthly region of this world. They don’t realise that there’s a greater play in the spirit world.
For every one of us that’s born again, the Bible tells us to walk in the Spirit. How do you walk in the Spirit? It’s walking in the light of God’s Word; walking according to Kingdom principles. Become conscious that you live in, and are from another realm, a heavenly realm that’s greater than this world. That consciousness will put you over the elements, failures, frustrations, darkness and corruption in this physical world.
Life is spiritual, and we live in two worlds. But most people, every day, are only conscious of the physical realm. This is why many go through pain and affliction; victims of incurable diseases, because they’re unable to control life from the spirit. The Bible says you’re in the world, but not of the world. You’re born after Christ, the man from heaven; you bear the image of the heavenly. You’re from the Kingdom of God’s Love Son. Hallelujah! And in that Kingdom, we play by divine principles; the strategies and weapons of our warfare are not of this world (2 Corinthians 10:4). We reign by grace through righteousness, and we prevail with, and through the Word. Hallelujah!
*The eyes of my understanding are enlightened to recognise my divine abilities in Christ, and to comprehend and apprehend the spiritual realities of the heavenly Kingdom to which I belong, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*
Romans 8:9-10 NIV You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness.
Romans 8:13-14 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

[3/28, 6:18 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: Live by your convictions (1)
Saturday 28th March 2020
‘Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself.’ Daniel 1:8 NKJV
The Bible says, ‘Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank’ (Daniel 1:8 NKJV). This particular food and wine was offered to pagan gods as an act of worship, and for Daniel that was unacceptable. He was being asked to compromise his character, and he wouldn’t do it. Daniel had good reasons if he had chosen to say yes. He was far from home and could do as he pleased. Nobody back home would ever know it. Plus, if he didn’t eat it, he would be insulting the king – not a good career move!
But, Daniel knew God’s Word was clear when it came to idol worship, and God blessed him for it. He ended up being protected, preserved, promoted and prospered in unthinkable ways. His philosophy was: ‘When God says yes, I say yes. And when God says no, I say no.’ And he had established his convictions before he got to Babylon. Question: have you decided what your core convictions are? Have you spent the good times determining what you will and won’t do during the hard times? If not, you need to. Daniel’s friends probably told him, ‘Nobody will know.’ But his thinking was: ‘God will know, and so will I. I don’t have to live with you, but I’ve got to live with me.’ Your thoughts and ideas must always be open to change and improvement, but your core convictions must be non-negotiable.
So, live by your convictions.

*Text: “And Moses said unto the LORD, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue” Exo 4:10*
God appeared to Moses in a supernatural way to commission him for a great assignment. Moses began to give God all the reasons why he was the most unqualified person for this job. Naturally speaking the excuses were genuine. What Moses did not realise was that it was God that made him in the first place and knew exactly his frame. As far as God was concerned the excuses that Moses gave were not good enough to disqualify him. Before God called him the provisions were already made to handle the lapses.
I want you to notice that after Moses gave God the excuse that he was not eloquent and slow of speech, God did not perform a miracle to make him an orator or a fast talker. If that was necessary for him to fulfil his destiny God would have given it to him personally.
Whatever we don’t have should never be an excuse not to become all you were supposed to be. Whatever you have is all you need to fulfil destiny. What you have may not be much, but it’s enough for your journey in life.
Moses had a rod and in that rod was the entire miracle that was needed in Egypt to set the people of God free. What God did was to help Moses to appreciate the relevance of what he was carrying. The unfortunate thing is that we can focus on what we don’t have while we neglect what we do have.
God also helped him to appreciate that he had people around him that will help him in areas of weakness to fulfil destiny. If you ignore people that God has placed in your life you will miss out on what God has packaged in their lives for your advantage.
There are no defects that should hinder God’s plans and purpose for your life.
All I need in life I already have. God has packaged in me all the resources I require for life and destiny. There is no disadvantage in my life.

TEXT: *GENESIS 12:10-20*
KEY VERSE: _*”Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive”*_ (GENESIS 12:12).
Abraham, who had departed from his father’s house by faith was worried by famine. Instead of turning to God in prayer to know what to do or where to go, he moved into Egypt. While entering Egypt, he became afraid and hatched a plan to protect himself.
The reason for his fear was that he might be killed by the Egyptians who would want to have his wife. He, therefore, willingly gave his wife to save his life. His fears were baseless. He lied to receive favour in exchange for his wife. God had to step in to bring judgment on Pharaoh and his household.
Man often entertains baseless fears, resulting in pains. Fear whittles down our faith and sometimes introduces complications that land us into bigger troubles. Fear of the future ranks high among the issues that create anxiety in people. Strangely, most of the fears we entertain are unfounded. It has been proven that an average person’s fear is focused on things that will never happen.
If you are apprehensive about a matter, commit it to the Lord in faith and leave it there. Abraham forgot the call on his life and went to Egypt without seeking God’s permission. He also forgot that God could supply his needs in time of famine wherever he lived.
Always remember that you are beloved of God and trust Him in times of lack, economic depression, distress, discouragement and sickness. When life’s challenges threaten, be strong, for God will save you (Isaiah 35:4).
*THOUGHT FOR THE DAY*: Be strong, fear not; God will save you.

*Just as Moses lifted the Serpent in the wilderness*
*Text* : John 3:14-15
” _Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him._ “(NIV)
In Numbers 21:4-9, we read an account of how the Lord sent fiery snakes to the children of Israel as punishment for their sins. They had murmured and spoken against the Lord and his servant, Moses. The snakes bit them and many died.
However, when they repented of their sins, they beseeched Moses to pray for them. And when he prayed, the Lord gave a solution saying, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.” (Numbers 21:8). As many who was bitten by snakes and looked up at the bronze snake on the pole lived.
When things go wrong or when there is a plague in the land, (Covid-19), we should pray and look up to the Son of God who has been lifted up on the Cross of Calvary. Our deliverance lies in Him and His finished work on Calvary tree. Glory to God, Jesus has been lifted up as the solution. Look up to Him and live!
It is well written, “I lift up my eyes to the mountains, where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” ( Ps 121:1-2, NIV). Our help comes ONLY from the One who was lifted up, Jesus Christ. Vaccines are good! Hand hygiene is good. Quarantine is good. Testing and medications are good. But our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of the heavens and the earth.
Ps 91:1-2 says, ” *Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”* (NIV). The safest and surest place to quarantine yourself is in the secret or shelter of the Most High. It has been said that every 100 years witnessed a pandemic plaque which killed many. As we deal with Corona virus now, there is still HIV, flu, Ebola, Lassa etc. The safest place beloved is in the secret place of the Most High.
*Jesus has been lifted up just as Moses lifted up the brozen snake in the wilderness* . Look unto Him and live. Look away from the hues and cries of the media and look unto Jesus. If you are not saved, there is no better time than now to commit your life to Jesus. It is time to be born again! Secure your life in Christ, not only from Corona virus but much more from the judgement that is sure to come upon the world.
Say with me: _Lord God, I commit my life into your hands. I confess that I have sinned against you. Please forgive me and wash me in blood of your Son, Jesus Christ. Send your Holy Spirit into my heart today. Thank you for hearing my prayers for in Jesus name, I pray amen._
If you have sincerely prayed this prayer, you are now saved according to the Holy Scriptures. Welcome to the house of your Father. Please let me know that you prayed that prayer so that I can assist you to grow in your new life.

[3/28, 7:30 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: Today’s SOD – 2020-03-28
TOPIC: HOW TO BE A BLESSING
SCRIPTURE: And I will bless them that bless thee,”and curse him that curseth thee”: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Genesis 12:3
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Spirituality equals generosity,”generosity both towards God and towards man.
Yesterday, we saw the necessity of being a blessing. Today, we shall be looking at the various ways and channels where we can effectively be a blessing to our generation.
Now, how can we be a blessing to people and the world around us?
1. Through the act of giving (John 3″:16). Giving is an authentic proof of love and blessing. Every blesser is a giver both to God and man. Being a blessing means being a giver to the extent that the world would feel your impact. Spirituality equals generosity,”generosity both towards God and towards man.
2. Through prayer and intercession (Job 42″:10).
This means standing in the gap for others in prayer for Divine intervention in their lives and situations. The highest form of prayer is the prayer of intercession. Many times,”we pray for only ourselves and that is a highly self-centred existence. You cannot ask God to change someone’s life and your life remains unchanged.
3. Through your wisdom and counsel.
Your wisdom and counsel are blessings especially to young people who are about to make destiny decisions (Exodus 18″:17-19). Let your compassion fuel your instruction to them. Bless your world with your counsel.
Beloved,”be a blessing today and there is no demonic curse that can keep you down, in Jesus’ Name.
REMEMBER THIS”: Spirituality equals generosity,”generosity both towards God and towards man.
1. Make a conscious effort to intercede for at least one person you know.
2. Be generous towards God and towards man.
PRAYER: Lord,”I ask for the grace to be a blessing to people and the world around me, in Jesus’ Name.
