[4/8, 5:23 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: MILLIONAIRE EMBRACE: Wednesday April 8, 2020 | Korede & Esther Komaiya

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.” Hebrews 12:1 (KJV)

Happiness is a consequence and not a goal; a consequence that emanates when you influence your emotions by recalibrating your perspective about God, humans and things. Joy is a choice, it is based on a deep scriptural revelation that the things that be not would surely be, in the process of time; it is not influenced by externalities; it is a product of inner maturity birthed by the Word.

Evidenced in today’s scripture, you can’t run the race of life successfully with weights on you, because weight weighs; it weighs down objectivity of thoughts; it weighs down vision, kills creativity and fosters self-imprisonment by depression. A weight you don’t need, you drop. A weight that contradicts your destiny you lay aside. For a life of total victory, you must lay aside the weight of WORRIES and ANXIETIES. I am yet to see anyone who amounted to anything by worries and anxieties. The world is filled with challenges, including the recent COVID-19 pandemic; worry does not have any such capacity to handle it. Worry does not solve any problem, it only compounds them. It makes no sense worrying, lay it aside!

Dear LORD, I thank You for Your word to me; because worries and anxieties make no sense, I, this day, receive grace to lay them aside, in Jesus’ Name!

You can’t run the race of life successfully with weights on you.

[4/8, 5:23 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: MESSAGE FROM:

Rev. Anthony Akinmoyo
Lifeway Christian Centre,

Call To Prayer Part 3

FOCUS: Victorious Lifestyle.

Philippians 4:6 (KJV) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Psalms 5:3 (KJV) My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

Satan’s eternal agenda is to frustrate God’s purpose on humanity, but glory be to God we have the victory in Christ Jesus. Prayer is the weapon God gave to us His children to war in the heavenlies(spirit realm) so as to lay hold on all that belongs to us in Christ. The major problem of our generation is not really the devil alone but the prayerlessness of the saints of God because with our effectual fervent prayer, we can cage the devil anytime and anyday.

James 5:13-16 (KJV) Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

The word of God says we can pray ourselves out of any unpleasant situation.

Exodus 34:2-3, 5-6 (KJV) And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me in the top of the mount.
And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.
And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.
And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

Moses was all alone and he saw the glory of the Lord. When he came down, no man could behold his countenance. Also, as you will be standing before the Lord in prayer you will be reflecting His glory and beauty.

2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV) But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Don’t forget, His glory terminates all forms of shame. Therefore, arise and pray. Don’t wait until crisis before you start to organize prayers. Effectual fervent prayer drives the devil and his demons far away from you. Many destinies have been robbed, shattered and destroyed. Many good marriages have been broken up because the saints were sleeping. Many children are bringing reproach because of prayerlessness of their parents.

Matthew 13:25 (KJV) But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

Hosea 4:6 (KJV)”…seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”

If you are spiritually and physically awake, no enemy can buffet your destiny. I pray the Lord release upon you from this moment the spirit of prayer.

1. Psalms 37:18-19 (KJV) The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

O Lord my Father, satisfy me and my household in famine. Let my supply never run dry.

2. Psalms 90:17 (KJV) And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.

i. O Lord my God, let your beauty be visible upon my life and my household in the mighty name of Jesus!

ii. O Lord my Father, beautify my life to attract multitude to your kingdom in Jesus precious name!

iii. Father, establish the works of my hands. Do not let me labour in vain in life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!

iv. Lord, establish my children before you, let them never depart from you.

3. Psalms 32:7 (KJV) Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

O Lord, preserve me and my family from all forms of trouble. Do not allow me to fall into the pit and trap of the devil.

4. Psalms 138:8 (MSG) Finish what you started in me, God. Your love is eternal—don’t quit on me now.

Psalms 138:8 (KJV) The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

O Lord my God, finish your good works in my life. Do not quit on me.

5. Isaiah 4:5 (KJV) And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.

i.O Lord, defend your blessings and glory in my life. Fortify me O Lord by your Spirit.

ii. O Lord, defend my marriage, health, career, prosperity, business, ministry etc.

6. Deuteronomy 11:12 (KJV) A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.

O Lord my Father, let your eyes continuously be upon us from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.

7. Jeremiah 30:20 (KJV) Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.

O Lord my God, arise and punish every situation and personality that has been oppressing me.

8. Exodus 15:23, 25 (KJV) “And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah.
And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet…”

O Lord, turn my situation around for good. Turn my bitter water to sweet water:
Poor health to sound health,
Turbulent marriage to peaceful home,
Struggle to comfort,
Sorrow to joy,
Lack to abundance,
Delay to speed,
Barreness to fruitfulness.

Thank you Father for the grace to pray and answers to all my prayers.

Receive my thanks and praise in the mighty name of Jesus!

See you tomorrow,
Stay strong,
Stay safe.

Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day. Isaiah 65:5

READ: Isaiah 65:1-7

1I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.

2 I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;

3 A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;

4 Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;

5 Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.

6 Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom,

7 Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.

There is a worrisome trend in Christendom today: many people claiming to be holier than other. While I am a serious advocate for holy living, I am not in support of condemning other because of the assumption that they are not as holy as you. We must acknowledge that we are what we are by the grace of God ( 1 Corinthians 15:10) and no one can be holy except by this grace.

“Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” Jude 1:24-25

So, when you see someone living a questionable life, do not condemn him/her, rather pray that God gives the person grace to live holy. It is okay to correct someone who has done wrong, but if it is not done in love, you most likely will not get the positive result.

Many people have given up on faith because some Christians have condemned them. The hurting and reproachful words spoken to them have pushed them far away from God rather than closer to Him. This is not good at all. Let love reign. Let tour actions be guided by the intention to bring people out of darkness, not because you deliberately want to hurt them by pointing out their flaws.

If anyone is backsliding I your local assembly, pray for such as you lovingly try to restore them according to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Don’t laugh at any backslider, don’t look at them with disgust. The father of the prodigal son never mentioned all the ills the boy had done, he just embraced him in love.

From today, begin to walk in love with people in your family, church, workplace and everywhere else. See them with the eyes of Jesus and He will not only convert them but will also draw them unto Himself by His power.

Jesus is depending on you to show His love to the people of the world. Don’t push them away.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Samuel 4-8

1. All to Jesus I surrender,
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.
o Refrain:
I surrender all,
I surrender all;
All to Thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.

2. All to Jesus I surrender,
Humbly at His feet I bow;
Worldly pleasures all forsaken,
Take me, Jesus, take me now.

3. All to Jesus I surrender,
Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
Let me feel the Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou art mine.

4. All to Jesus I surrender,
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power,
Let Thy blessing fall on me.

5. All to Jesus I surrender,
Now I feel the sacred flame;
Oh, the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory, to His Name!

SCRIPTURE: And Ruth said,”Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee”: for whither thou goest,”I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge”: thy people shall be my people,”and thy God my God”: Where thou diest,”will I die, and there will I be buried”: the Lord do so to me,”and more also, if ought but death part thee and me. When she saw that she was stedfastly minded to go with her, then she left speaking unto her. Ruth 1″:16 -18.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Destiny requires precision. The right decision is the pathway to destiny fulfilment.

In the Book of Ruth Chapter One,”the Bible gives us the account of a man of Bethlehem called Elimelech who had a wife called Naomi. Together, they had two sons, Mahlon and Chilion. They all went and sojourned in the land of Moab because of famine in Israel. In the course of time, Elimelech died and his two sons, Mahlon and Chilion married two Moabite women, Ruth and Orpah. Mahlon and Chilion also died leaving Naomi in deeper sorrow and misery. Then Naomi arose to go to the land of Israel when she heard that the Lord had blessed His people, the Israelites with bread. Her two daughters-in-law, Ruth and Orpah, followed her but she told them to go back. After much persuasion, Orpah eventually went back but Ruth decided to cleave unto Naomi, her mother-in-law.

In Scriptures, we hear of Ruth afterwards, even to the New Testament in the genealogy of Jesus Christ, but after the Book of Ruth Chapter One, Orpah’s name was not mentioned again in the Bible. Her name disappeared henceforth throughout the Bible. This happened because she was undecided and then made a wrong decision. Orpah went into oblivion while Ruth became outstanding in life by the power of the right and positive decision.

Most times, indecision would always lead to wrong decisions. Those who find it hard to make up their mind usually make the wrong decision eventually. I have seen people who married the wrong persons because of uncertainty or indecision. They could not make up their mind on time on who to marry. Their indecision led them into over analysis such as”: “This one is too tall; that one is too short,”this one is too black; that one is too fair in complexion,” then eventually, they marry the one that has the combination of all the negative qualities, and that is a disaster.

Beloved, destiny requires precision. The right decision is the pathway to destiny fulfilment. Make up your mind to make the right decisions in life.

Remember this”: Destiny requires precision. The right decision is the pathway to destiny fulfilment.

1. Ask God for the grace to make the right decision always.

2. Refuse to be undecided on the issues of life. Be decisive. Make up your mind on time.

PRAYER: Lord,”I ask for the grace to make the right decision always. Deliver me from the spell of indecision and wrong decision, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: People’s decisions motivate their actions. And their actions determine their results. Culled from “21 FOOLISH THINGS PEOPLE DO” by DR Paul Enenche.

AMAZING FACT: Lions have wonderful night vision. They are six times more sensitive to light than humans are. This gives them a distinct advantage over some preys when hunting at night. A reflective coating on the back of their eyes helps to capture moonlight.

DAILY READING: 2 Chronicles 19-21

PROPHETIC WORD: The grace for the right decision is released on you in Jesus’ Name.
