[4/10, 5:48 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: MESSAGE FROM:
Rev. Anthony Akinmoyo
Lifeway Christian Centre,
Call To Prayer Part 5.
FOCUS: Spiritual Empowerment.
Prayer is not only a means to get things done, but is also for spiritual empowerment that will put us in command of the affairs of life.
Luke 4:14 (KJV) And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
Jesus returned from the mountain of prayer in the power of the Spirit and His fame spread through all the region. Prayer is about taking command and being in charge. When you are empowered, you determine the happenings around your life. Beloved, we all need to be empowered in order to dislodge whatever or whoever might be resisting us from entering into our inheritance in Christ Jesus.
Joshua 18:2-3 (KJV) And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes, which had not yet received their inheritance.
And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you?
If you are slacking in prayer you might not be able to access your portion. Joshua asked in the above scripture saying, “how long are ye slack to go and possess the land which the Lord has given to you”. If you take a thorough study of this scripture, you will discover that seven out of twelve tribes have not yet received their inheritance because they were yet to take up responsibility. The same is happening in our time. Many are in the kingdom but yet to be radiating the glory and beauty of the kingdom because of lack of spiritual empowerment to charge through in order to lay hold of their inheritance in Christ Jesus.
Isaiah 5:29 (KJV) Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.
I see you being empowerment supernaturaly via prayer in the mighty name of Jesus!
1. Psalms 18:34 (KJV) He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
i. O Lord my Father, teach my hands to war that I can break any barrier on my way to destiny fulfilment in the name of Jesus!
ii. O Lord put on me fighting spirit in order to lay hold on my inheritance.
2. Psalms 13:3 (KJV) Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;
i. O Lord my God, deliver me from the sleep of death. Help me never to sleep in the place of prayer again, lighten my eyes O Lord.
ii. O Lord my God, revive my prayer life in the mighty name of Jesus!
iii. Spirit of procrastination in prayer I command you out of my life in the mighty name of Jesus!
3. Psalms 28:9 (KJV) Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.
i. O Lord my God, save me and my household from lack and want that I may serve you with joy and liberty.
ii. O Lord my Father, bless the work of my hands and lift me and my family up forever.
4. Psalms 1:3 (KJV) And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
i. O Lord my Father, prosper the works of my hands. Let your glory be revealed in my life.
ii. O Lord my God, turn every season of my life to a fruitful season. Let me not know dryness again.
5. Psalms 71:21 (KJV) Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.
i. O Lord my God, increase my greatness in life.
ii. O Lord, comfort me on every side.
6. 2 Chronicles 15:7 (KJV) Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.
i. O Lord my Father, remember my labour in your kingdom and reward me abundantly.
ii. O Lord my redeemer, remember my labour of love towards your servants and children.
7. Nehemiah 13:31 (KJV) And for the wood offering, at times appointed, and for the firstfruits. Remember me, O my God, for good.
O Lord my God, remember all my sacrifices for the advancement of your kingdom.
8. Nehemiah 13:14 (KJV) Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for the offices thereof.
O Lord, do not wipe away my good deeds towards your kingdom and your children. Let my good deeds come before you as a sweet savour.
Thank you Father for the grace to pray and answers to all my prayers.
Receive my thanks and praise in the mighty name of Jesus!
See you tomorrow,
[4/10, 8:03 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: Today’s SOD – 2020-04-10
TOPIC: THE BLESSING OF HIS BLEEDING
SCRIPTURE: And after that they had mocked him,”they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him. Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. Matthew 27″:31,”50.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY”: Jesus Christ Who is sinless took our place in death so we may take His place in life.
Today is a special day in the history of the world in general and in the Body of Christ in particular. It marks the anniversary of Christ’s death and the process leading up to His resurrection which is the central focus of Christianity. The Scripture makes it clear that all have sinned against God and doomed to die (Romans 6:23 paraphrased). But Jesus Christ Who is sinless took our place in death so we may take His place in life. His bleeding on the Cross brought great blessings to humanity.
Now,”what are the blessings of His bleeding? I will give you three insights on this”:
1. He shed His Blood to reconcile man to God.
Man was hopelessly lost. When Adam and Eve sinned,”they were driven from the Garden of Eden. We didn’t understand where we were to go because we were hopelessly lost. But Jesus Christ restored us to God by dying on the Cross, and through His Death, we are reconciled to God (2 Corinthians 5″:18).
2. He shed His Blood to deliver us from the curses and spells which are the consequences of sin.
By the bleeding of Christ,”you are not permitted to be a victim of generational curses and witchcraft spells (Galatians 3″:13-14). You are exempted from any negative pattern that follows people in your lineage by the mystery of the Blood of Jesus Christ.
3. He shed His Blood to deliver us from the torment of the flames of hell.
Jesus shed His Blood to deliver us from the torment of hell fire. So,”anyone who ends up in hell only does so because he wants to go there.
Now, having shed His Blood for us on the Cross, what is our responsibility? Three things we are to do”:
1. Absolute surrender.
He gave up his life for you so you can give your life to Him. He held nothing back from you so you can hold nothing back from Him.
2. Give Him your best.
Give God the best of your life – the best of your time,”resources, and the best of who you are because God first gave us His best.
3. Live for Him.
He died for you so you can live for Him. Live only for Him. (2 Corinthians 5″:15).
Remember this: Jesus Christ Who is sinless took our place in death so we may take His place in life.
1. Surrender your life to Jesus today (If you have not yet done so).
2. Make up your mind to live fully for Jesus Christ since He died for you.
PRAYER: O Lord,”thank You for dying for me on the Cross of Calvary. I receive the grace to live for You, Lord, in Jesus Name.

QUOTE: Vision was also the secret of Jesus’ life. Do you know why the grave could not hold Jesus? He had said to the people,”“Destroy this body and on the third day, I will raise it up” (Mark 14″:58 paraphrased). He saw the resurrection before the crucifixion. He saw Himself rising before they took Him to the cross. Culled from “15 KINGDOM STRATEGIES FOR SURVIVAL” by Dr Paul Enenche.
AMAZING FACT: Lions are symbols of strength and courage and have been celebrated throughout history for these characteristics. They are also common symbols for royalty and stateliness,”hence the phrase, “King of the jungle”

DATE: FRIDAY 10TH APRIL 2020.
THEME: THE DEATH OF JESUS I.
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. Romans 8:15
READ: Ephesians 2:13-18
13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
The death of Jesus Christ on the cross opened up a new era in Christianity. The first thing that happened when Jesus died was that the veil of the temple was torn into two. Matthew 27:50-51 tells us:
“Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;”
The torn veil was what separated the holy of holies from the rest of the temple. The only person allowed into the holy of holies was the High Priest, but the moment Jesus died, He went to stand in the place of the veil, so it had to give way. Now, everyone has full access to the Father through Jesus. John 14:6 tells us- “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
If you want to meet with God, you had better make Jesus your friend. We know that Jesus is the Word of God. This means that to access God, you must always study the word of God. When you read the Bible, you access the mind of God and you can relate with Him on a new level. That is why I pity Pastors who only read their Bible to prepare messages; they have lost that intimate relationship with God and cannot know His mind.
Before Jesus died, people used to depend on the High Priest to talk to God of hear from Him, but now, Jesus has bridged the gap. We can access God, speak with Him and hear from Him by ourselves. It is because Jesus died that I can call God “Daddy”. How is your relationship with God? Jesus died because He wanted you to have an intimate relationship with Him. God loves you, that is why He sent His son to die for you so He can talk to you one on one. To what extent are you open to God? He wants to help you with every inadequacy in your life. All He requires is that you are completely open and dedicated to Him.
Lord, don’t let Your death for me be in vain.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Samuel 13-14
AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE
HYMN 27: I AM SO GLAD THAT OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN.
1. I am so glad that our Father in Heav’n
Tells of His love in the Book He has giv’n;
Wonderful things in the Bible I see,
This is the dearest, that Jesus loves me.
I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me;
I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves even me.
2. If I forget Him and wander away,
Still He doth love me wherever I stray;
Back to His dear loving arms would I flee,
When I remember that Jesus loves me.
3. Oh, if there’s only one song I can sing,
When in His beauty I see the great King,
This shall my song through eternity be,
“Oh, what a wonder that Jesus loves me!”
4. Jesus loves me, and I know I love Him;
Love brought Him down my poor soul to redeem;
Yes, it was love made Him die on the tree;
Oh, I am certain that Jesus loves me!
5. If one should ask of me, how can I tell?
Glory to Jesus, I know very well!
God’s Holy Spirit with mine doth agree,
Constantly witnessing Jesus loves me.
6. In this assurance I find sweetest rest,
Trusting in Jesus, I know I am blest;
Satan, dismayed, from my soul now doth flee,
When I just tell him that Jesus loves me.

[4/10, 8:04 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: The importance of the cross (3)
Friday 10th April 2020
‘The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing.’ 1 Corinthians 1:18 NKJV
God dying on the cross for our sins sounds like ‘foolishness’ to some people. Their philosophy is ‘If I cannot understand it, I won’t accept it.’ That’s where they get it wrong. Salvation comes through faith alone. ‘Unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the Kingdom of Heaven’ (Matthew 18:3 NKJV). Simple, childlike faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross is all that’s required.
The story is told of a student whose professor gave him zero on a test. Upset, he said, ‘I don’t deserve this grade.’ The professor smiled and quipped, ‘I agree, but zero is the lowest grade I can give.’ That’s how God feels about our wisdom. ‘The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God’ (1 Corinthians 3:19 NKJV). One day a man stood on the roof of his house during a flood, and prayed, ‘God, please save me.’ Soon a rowboat came by and offered to take him to safety. But he said, ‘No, God will take care of me.’ The waters kept coming up until they were almost at his waist. Suddenly a helicopter appeared overhead and a rope ladder was lowered down. ‘Oh no, God will take care of me.’ Soon after that the man drowned. When he stood before God, he said, ‘Why didn’t you save me?’ God responded, ‘I sent you a rowboat and a helicopter. What else did you want?’
At the cross, God did everything required to save you. All you have to do is trust in Christ and receive the gift of eternal life.Share On:
