7 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; Genesis 22:17

READ: Genesis 26:11-14

11 And Abimelech charged all his people, saying, He that toucheth this man or his wife shall surely be put to death.

12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.

13 And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:

14 For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.

The fact that God designed humanity for greatness is clearly stated in the Bible. Many however, still doubt this reality despite the record in Genesis 1:26-30 where God decided to create mankind in His own image and likeness. He commanded them to be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, subdue it and also to have dominion over all creation. God did not only bestow greatness on humanity in Genesis 1:26-28, He also ensured all creation was subject to man.

Though the fall of Adam and Eve (Genesis 3:1-19) married this divine plan, the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ has restored the lost glory to humanity (John 17:22). For this reason, the Bible emphasizes that God’s design for greatness remains intact in every born-again child of God according to 1 Peter 2:9 that says:
“ But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;”

This is profound. Every child of God living holy and committed to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christian is bound to experience greatness. Therefore, searching for greatness through dubious, sinful, immoral, or criminal methods, is merely a demonstration of foolishness. Seeking greatness anywhere apart from God is an exercise in futility. The power of God to make you great rest squarely on His personality as the Almighty and unlimited God. If you desire to be great, do not waste your money, time and energy in pursuit of greatness outside God; it will end in disappointment and failure (Matthew 16:27). Surrender your life and ambition for greatness to Jesus today then He will save your soul and make you great indeed- far beyond your wildest imaginations. Praise God!

Father, please let your great plans for my life become a reality very soon, in the mighty name of Jesus.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Psalm 6, 8-10,14,16,19 & 21.

1. I am so glad that our Father in Heav’n
Tells of His love in the Book He has giv’n;
Wonderful things in the Bible I see,
This is the dearest, that Jesus loves me.
o Refrain:
I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me;
I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves even me.

2. If I forget Him and wander away,
Still He doth love me wherever I stray;
Back to His dear loving arms would I flee,
When I remember that Jesus loves me.

3. Oh, if there’s only one song I can sing,
When in His beauty I see the great King,
This shall my song through eternity be,
“Oh, what a wonder that Jesus loves me!”

4. Jesus loves me, and I know I love Him;
Love brought Him down my poor soul to redeem;
Yes, it was love made Him die on the tree;
Oh, I am certain that Jesus loves me!

5. If one should ask of me, how can I tell?
Glory to Jesus, I know very well!
God’s Holy Spirit with mine doth agree,
Constantly witnessing Jesus loves me.

6. In this assurance I find sweetest rest,
Trusting in Jesus, I know I am blest;
Satan, dismayed, from my soul now doth flee,
When I just tell him that Jesus loves me.

_*…Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth (Luke 18:8).*_

_Nowadays, it’s not uncommon to hear Christians talk about their doctor as though he’s the Holy Spirit. You’ll hear them make statements like: “I was having tummy ache; so I went to the doctor and he told me what to do.” They receive the doctor’s recommendations as though such recommendations came from the Holy Spirit._

_Imagine a Christian who’s been feeling a headache for two weeks. You’d think the next thing he’d say is how he took a stand against it in the Name of Jesus, and it disappeared. Instead, his testimony is that he called his doctor who gave him a powerful drug that took care of it._

_The question to ask such people is, “Where is your faith? Where is the place of the Word of God in your life?” They’re doing things because the doctor—not the Word or the Spirit—said to do them. How sad! Christians who have found themselves in this predicament have one major problem: their faith has gone broke or bankrupt_.

_The message of faith teaches that when you feel symptoms in your body, you rebuke it in the Name of Jesus. You command Satan to get out! Many have become so enslaved to their feelings that the slightest ache or pain have them heading to the drug store. How about the divine life in you? You’re born of God and His life in you makes you impregnable to sickness; absolutely unconquerable. Hallelujah!_

_You may say, “But I confessed, prayed and tried everything, but nothing was working, and I didn’t know what else to do.” Well, that’s what happens when faith is broke. How did you know things weren’t working? They only stopped working when you thought and said they weren’t working. Faith always works. Use it to frame your world and create the glorious realities you want to experience in life._

*It makes no difference what the situation is; my faith, fueled by the Word, always works! I take advantage of God’s extraordinary power in overcoming life’s adversities by expressing my faith, which is the victory that overcomes the world, its systems, economies and economics. I’m fully convinced of my eternal victory over sickness, poverty, Satan and the world. Therefore, I rejoice, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*||* *1 John 5:4-5* _For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?_ *||*

*||* *Mark 11:22-24* _And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them]._ *||*

[4/21, 6:01 AM] Emm: MESSAGE FROM:

Rev. Anthony Akinmoyo
Lifeway Christian Centre,

FOCUS: *Deeper Purpose Of Prayer* (Part 3)

Hebrews 11:7 (KJV) *By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.*

Prayer preserves the heritage and blessings of God in our lives. If you don’t maintain strong altar of prayer, the heritage (children) of God in your life can be stolen or destroyed.

Psalms 127:3 (KJV) *Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.*

Noah prepared an ark for the saving of his household. I believe every believer must consciously prepare his own ark of prayer to preserve the destinies of his children.
In this crooked and perverse world, we must maintain strong altar of prayer for the preservation and manifestation of our children. They are confronted with diverse temptations and oppositions everyday that only advice or moral teaching cannot achieve the desired result. We must be willing to contend against oppositions on their behalf.

Isaiah 23:4 (KJV) *..I travail not, nor bring forth children, neither do I nourish up young men, nor bring up virgins.*

Until parents travail in prayers, they might not see their children manifest their full potentials.
One of the major targets of the devil is our seed. He knows if he can get our seed, our future is taken away and the kingdom of God will be in jeopardy because the covenant of God with us is trans-generational.

Let us not be like the ostrich, which abandons her eggs on the ground without caring that foot may crush them. We must preserve our eggs (children) at the altar of prayer.

Job 39:13-16 (KJV) *Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich?*
*Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust,*
*And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.*
*She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear;*

No evil foot shall access our children in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
Many children are wayward, school dropouts and involved in many social vices because no one is interceding for them. They are alone in the battle of life and if we don’t rise up and help them by praying for them, they might be overwhelmed.

Galatians 4:19 (KJV) *My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you.*

We must consistently travail in prayers for them so that Satan will not have any vacuum in their lives because Christ will fill their hearts.
Taking them to church is a very good thing but that is not enough, prayers must be offered constantly for them to stand perfect and fulfil their destinies in Christ.

Colossians 4:12 (KJV) *Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.*

We can draw more understanding from our patriarchs of faith who released blessings upon their children and it stands till this day.
In Gen 49:1, Jacob gathered all His children and decided how their future would be and that is how it is till this day. Jacob said unto Judah in verse 10 *”the sceptre shall not depart from Judah.* Many years later David was born in the tribe of Judah, also our Lord Jesus came through the tribe of Judah.
What was the source of Jacob’s strength and authority? The Bible says in Gen 32:28 *”…for as a prince has thou power with God and man and hast prevailed.* He prevailed in the realm of the spirit and his words carried indisputable authority on earth. Jacob was a man of altar (prayer).

Hosea 12:4-6 (KJV) *Yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him in Beth-el, and there he spake with us;*
*Even the LORD God of hosts; the LORD is his memorial.*
*Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment, and wait on thy God continually.*

What our fathers of faith gave to their children as inheritance were not just cattle and houses but blessing. Same way Isaac pronounced blessings on Jacob in Gen 27:28. At the end, Jacob was changed from an individual to a nation, from Jacob to Isreal.
I believe your prayers will uphold the destinies of your children for good in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!

Nehemiah 4:14 (KJV) *And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.*

1. Isaiah 54:13 (KJV) *And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.*

O Lord my God, reveal yourself to my children. Cause them to know you personally in the mighty name of Jesus!

O Lord my God, teach my children and cause them to understand your ways so that they can continually walk in it in the mighty name of Jesus!

3. 1 Chronicles 29:19 (KJV) *And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.*

O Lord, cause them to be committed to you unto the end in the mighty name of Jesus!

4. Song of Solomon 1:4 (KJV) *Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers:..*

O Lord my Father, make my children to be running after you and not to any strange god in the mighty name of Jesus!

7. Isaiah 49:25 (KJV) *But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.*

O Lord my Father, arise and contend with whatever that is contending against my children in the mighty name of Jesus!

8. Ephesians 3:4 (KJV) *Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ*

O Lord my Father, as they read (study) grant them sound understanding of their academic work in the mighty name of Jesus!

9. Job 20:3 (KJV) *”…and the spirit of my understanding causeth me to answer.”*

O Lord my Father, grant them the spirit of understanding to handle the issues of life in the mighty name of Jesus!

10. Psalms 112:1-2 (KJV) *Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.*

O Lord my Father, let blessings be the identity of my children in the mighty name of Jesus!

12. Isaiah 65:23 (KJV) *They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.*

O Lord my God, do not let my labour and sacrifices over my children be in vain in the mighty name of Jesus!

13. O Lord my God, make my children to be fruitful on every side in the mighty name of Jesus!

Thank you Father for the grace to pray and answers to all my prayers.

Receive my thanks and praise in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!

See you tomorrow,
Stay strong,
Stay safe.
