[5/20, 4:35 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: MESSAGE FROM:

*Rev. Anthony Akinmoyo,*
Lifeway Christian Centre,

Ecclesiastes 3:1
*To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.*

God lives above time but He chooses to work within time and season. He has appointed time for everything under heaven. That is why we have different seasons of the year: summer, winter etc. The same it is with life.

Remember, God said before you were formed in your mother’s womb, He knew you and had plan and purpose for your life. Ability to discern your time and season will bring joy, peace and fulfillment of your divine destiny in Christ. Besides, nothing will ever come to pass until the time your maker has assigned for it, especially things that God has promised you.

*God Believes in Timing*
From the day Adam fell in Eden, God’s desire was to rescue mankind and bring them back to Himself but it never happened until after thousands of years which He had appointed to manifest in flesh and redeem humanity.

Galatians 4:4-5
[4] *But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,*
[5] *To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.*

All generations before Christ came in the flesh desired to see Him but God waited until the time He had appointed to manifest. Beloved, you need to have a good relationship with the Holy Spirit who is the revealer of time and season, so that you will not end up being a victim of impatience. If you allow impatience takes charge of your life, you might miss God’s best. John the Baptist was in the deserts until the time of his manifestation.

Luke 1:80
*And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.*

Beloved, when you understand your time and season, you will not move before God moves.

Jesus also functioned under divine timing. He did not manifest until it was time. When His brethren asked Him to appear in Jerusalem and proclaim Himself. He made them know that He was working under the time appointed by His Father.

John 7:6, 8
[6] *Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is always ready.*
[8] *Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come.*

If you don’t understand your time, your decisions would be based on emotions or other people’s idea about your life. Don’t follow the crowd and emotions but divine signals. At times, your “Lazarus” might need to die before God will show up. When you have this understanding, you will be patient even in affliction.

2 Corinthians 6:4
*But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses.*

Also, this will help you to avoid wrong decisions in life.

*Don’t Fix it Yourself*
The closest companion of faith is patience. One thing is to be armed with all the promises of God concerning your life and another is to know when God has appointed for each to come to pass. Be reminded that it is God that has promised, it is Him that will still perform it and not our anxiety and worry.

1 Thessalonians 5:24
*Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.*

Everyone who is trying to fulfill the promise and purpose of God with the arm of the flesh will end up prolonging their time. Some even end in frustration.

Moses was born as a deliverer of the people of God. He was destined to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, but when he moved before the time appointed, he became a fugitive in the wilderness for forty years. Some of the things many people are going through now wouldn’t have been needful if they had exercised a little patience and waited for God’s time.

Gehazi never waited for his own time of manifestation when men will be sowing seed into his life, when honorarium would have been the order of the day. He rushed to Naaman to collect money, and his master, Prophet Elisha, asked him if it was time to collect.

2 Kings 5:26
*And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and olive yards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants?*

He destroyed his calling, ministry, life and at the end, the generation after him because of impatience.

2 Kings 5:27
*The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed forever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.*

Beloved, wait for your appointed time in order to save yourself, children and generation after you. No one lives and die for himself alone. Whatever decision you make today will have implication on generations after you. Patience produces wisdom.

Hebrews 12:1
*…let us run with patience the race that is set before us.*

SCRIPTURE: Behold,”I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy”: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To be a child of God qualifies and positions you for power.

It is a fact that whose child you are determines to a reasonable degree,”the privileges you can enjoy in life. For instance, a child in the Royal Family in England is entitled to royal privileges because of who gave birth to him or the family he is born into. He has no worries whatsoever under Heaven just because of where and to whom he was born. But these privileges, however great, are nothing compared to the privilege of being the son of the Most High God.

Our son-ship in God positions us naturally for supernatural power.  The Most Powerful God cannot have a powerless child. But as many as received him, to them gave he power…(John 1″:12).

Whether or not you are using the power is a different matter,”but to be a child of God qualifies and positions you for power.

Now, one of the powers given by God to His children is the power to tread on snakes and scorpions and over all the powers of the enemy, according to our anchor scripture.

Now, the serpent represents four things”:

1. Deception. The serpent deceived Eve. God has given us power over the forces of deception. You are not permitted to be a victim of the devil’s manipulation and deception.

2. Danger.A serpent around is a sign of danger.

3. Disease. The sting of a snake represents the impartation of disease which can progress into death in some cases.

4. Death. The serpent is a killer.

The scorpion equals unforeseen danger,”sudden strike and unexpected pain.

When you understand this, then you will understand that God is saying in essence”: I give unto power over deception,”danger, disease and premature, untimely death and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Today, I prophesy to you, any of these forces looking for you shall not reach you but bounce back to hell, in Jesus’ Name.

REMEMBER THIS”: To be a child of God qualifies and positions you for power.

1. Make demands on the power of God at the place of prayer.

2. Flee from every appearance of evil.

PRAYER: Lord,”I thank You for giving me power over the forces of darkness. And by this power, I destroy every power of sickness and death over my life, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: You pray from a position of victory,”not from a position of defeat. That is, you are a winner waiting to be confirmed. Culled from PRINCIPLES AND POWER OF PRAYER by Dr Paul Enenche

AMAZING FACT: Babies are always born with blue eyes.

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION: Every force of disease, danger or death looking for you is returned back to hell in Jesus’ Name.

[5/20, 7:10 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: Perfect morning sir & ma.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear (Hebrews 11:1-3).

Our theme scripture is quite instructive; it reveals an important faith-principle with which you can make your life excellent, from glory to glory. It says the things that are obvious to our natural eyes weren’t made of things that appear; they came out of things that aren’t observable to the senses. The context shows that these things came from words, for it says, “Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God.”

In Genesis 1, we read that God spoke and brought order, beauty and form to a world that was formless, chaotic and in darkness. He framed the world. In the same way, your life and your future have been framed, only that this time, it was by you. What you’re going to be like in the next few months and years is already planned and laid out by none other than you! And if you currently don’t like what you have (that is, how your life has turned out), you alone can change it.

Some people may argue with this, but God’s Word lets us know that’s how it is. You planned the life you’re living now with your words. You are today exactly what you described yourself to be years ago. You’re responsible for the quality of life you have today. Of course, there would have been several other factors of influence: sociological, environmental, family, etc., but they only gave you a foundation; they gave you material with which to build your life. Whatever you eventually built on that sub-structure came from you.

If you’re having a wonderful life that you’re really glad about, you built it. If you’re living in defeat and as a victim, it’s also the result of your tongue-work. God isn’t responsible for the life you’re living. He gives you a vision; He shows you a picture and lets you know the kind of life He wants you to have. He may even be specific and tell you exactly what He wants your life to be. However, He’s not going to build it for you. He’ll only deliver the necessary materials and tools into your hands.

There’re also those materials you’d have to acquire, and He’ll show you where they are and how to acquire them. The responsibility is yours to locate them, take possession of them and use them to build your victorious life.

I take charge of my life and make it what I want it to be in line with God’s will for me. I give form, beauty and order to my world through the energy of my words. I live in righteousness, victory, health, success and prosperity, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Acts 20:32
And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

Mark 11:23
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

2 Peter 1:3
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that [pertain] unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

John 9:1-41 & 2 Kings 4-5

1 Corinthians 11:1-11 & Proverbs 16
