[5/24, 5:45 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: MESSAGE FROM:

*Rev. Anthony Akinmoyo,*
Lifeway Christian Centre,

Obedience is the key to kingdom blessing. The Bible is a book that is loaded with blessings but without obedience to God’s will, no one can access the throne of heaven.

Hebrews 10:36
*For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.*

Abraham obtained the promise after he had done the will of God. It is obedience and performance of His will that make His promises a reality. Obedience comes before obtaining. Abraham would have died a pauper, if he had refused to move when God asked him to move. Beloved, I want you to know that whenever God asks you to do something, a reward is already waiting for you.

Deuteronomy 28:1, 8, 12 (AMP)
[1] *IF YOU will listen diligently to the voice of the Lord your God, being watchful to do all His commandments which I command you this day, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.*
[8] *The Lord shall command the blessing upon you in your storehouse and in all that you undertake. And He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God gives you.*
[12] *The Lord shall open to you His good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain of your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.*

John 7:17
*If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.*

We can only understand the deep things of God by the help of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is given to them that obey God.
Acts 5:32 (MSG) *And we are witnesses to these things. The Holy Spirit, whom God gives to those who obey him, corroborates every detail.”*

If you cannot submit yourself to the scriptural instructions then you will not access the teaching and revealing ministry of the Holy Spirit. Remember He is the custodians of kingdom mysteries and the deep things of God.

1 Corinthians 2:10 (KJV) *But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.*

When obedience to God’s commandments become your great delight, the Holy Spirit will be showing you great and mighty things that you know not.

Psalms 25:12 (KJV) *What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.*

Hebrews 5:14 (NLT) *Solid food is for those who are mature, who have trained themselves to recognize the difference between right and wrong and then do what is right.*

Spiritual maturity is not only viewed by how much scripture you know or have but how much you are willing to obey. It is good and we are encouraged to study wide and press after knowledge, but the ultimate is what you do with what you know and even preach.

John 13:17 (KJV) *If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.*

God views your relationship and fellowship with Him by His word that you are practicing. God is looking at you by how much you are walking in His light.

Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV)
[22] *It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.*
[23] *They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.*

1. Thank you o Lord for your faithfulness and mercies every morning.

2. Thank you my Father for your love toward me and my household.

3. Thank you Father for giving us victory over corona virus in the mighty name of Jesus!

O Lord my God, draw my heart to your will and precepts in Jesus mighty name!

6. Psalms 119:26 (KJV) *I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.*

O Lord my Father, daily reveal your will unto me that I may not err from your ways in Jesus mighty name!

7. Psalm 119:27 (KJV)
*Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.*

O Lord my Father, grant me understanding of your will and way in every aspect of my life in Jesus mighty name!

8. Psalms 119:66 (KJV) *Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.*

O Lord my Father, grant me grace and wisdom to always make good decisions and judgement in Jesus mighty name!

10. Deuteronomy 1:10 (KJV)
*The Lord your God hath multiplied you, and, behold, ye are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude.*

O Lord my God, let your church globally enjoy uncommon multiplication and growth after this corona virus in the mighty name of Jesus!

10. Deuteronomy 8:9 (KJV)
*A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.*

O Lord my God, take me to a realm and land of abundance in Jesus mighty name!

11. Psalms 138:8 (MSG) *Finish what you started in me, God. Your love is eternal—don’t quit on me now.*

i. O Lord my Father, continue and complete your good works in my life in Jesus mighty name!

ii. O Lord my Father, do not abandon me halfway in Jesus mighty name!

12. Isaiah 57:14 (KJV)
*And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my people.*

I decree every stumblingblock on my way to destiny fulfilment crash in Jesus mighty name!

13. Isaiah 54:13 (KJV)
*And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord ; and great shall be the peace of thy children.*

O Lord my God, reveal yourself to my children, cause them to know you personally in the mighty name of Jesus!

14. O Lord my God, multiply your peace in the life of my children in Jesus mighty name!

15. I decree the noise of Joy shall not depart from my family in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

Thank you for working exceedingly and abundantly above all that I ask or think.

Thank you Father for uncommon results and answers.

Receive my thanks and praise in the mighty name of Jesus!

See you tomorrow,
Rejoice always.
Philippians 4:4 (KJV) *Rejoice in the Lord: and again I say, Rejoice.*

*Text: “…Jesus said. “I was born for that purpose. And I came to bring truth to the world. All who love the truth recognize that what I say is true.”(NLT)*

The life of Jesus Christ was completely a life of purpose. Everywhere he went was purpose driven. Every conversation he had was targeted at a single purpose. On several occasions the people wanted to make out of him things that were different from his purpose, he resisted it completely. Everything that is done outside purpose is a distraction. A purpose driven life is a powerful life; it’s a life that will break barriers and become significant in life.
Purpose is God’s original plan and design for our lives. Purpose is the reason for our existence. Purpose is the reason why we were born.
There are billions of men on the face of the earth and God has designed it in such a way that each person is designed with a unique purpose. None of us came accidentally. God actually planned our coming. If we fail to function in our God assigned purpose we’ll get lost in the sea of humanity.
Jesus described himself as the vine while we are the branches. Whatever runs in the vine also runs in the branches. The branch is an extension of the vine. It therefore means that a definite purpose runs in our lives even if we don’t know it yet.
Christ in us forbids a purposeless life. Our union with Christ is an exit from mediocrity and insignificance. We have all it takes to fulfil purpose. Please understand as we close for today that life is not just measured by duration but by donation. At the end of our lives what will matter most is the extent to which God’s purpose for our lives were fulfilled. One of your goals for this year should be how to discover God’s purpose for your life and to function in it.

In the name of Jesus I function daily in the centre of God’s purpose for my life.

[5/24, 5:45 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: Today SOD – 2020-05-24

SCRIPTURE: Then Peter said,”Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee”: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk…And he leaping up stood,”and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. Acts 3″:6-8

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Power of God is the answer to the multiplied challenges of life.

The supernatural power of God is one of the most vital necessities of life. One reason is that the power of God is the answer to the multiplied challenges of life. Where the power of God is lacking,”people will be buried in challenges.

An example of the demonstration of the power of God is seen in the life of the man at the Beautiful Gate and the impartation that changed his life.

The man had several conditions that befell him – from an inherited or congenital adversity to an affliction from his mother’s womb. His identity was lost in adversity. His name was swallowed up by his pain. He existed as a burden and was stagnated in the place of acceleration. He had a potential that was imprisoned. He also had a situation of denied expectation. Everyone went into the temple but he was not able to enter. He was so near yet so far, until impartation power came and changed his story.

Now, the power of impartation is the power that”:

1. Breaks age-long limitations (Acts 3:7). When power arrives,”limitations are broken. Impartation is the answer for limitations. The transmission of power is the breakage of limitations. If your life has been in a situation of limitation; all you need is a sufficient dose of power, the Power of God.

2. Releases of innate potentials. Power releases potentials (Acts 3″:8-9). Where power is released,”potential cannot remain dormant.

3. Activates motion (Acts 3″:8). The impartation of power brings motion and acceleration. That was why the lame man jumped (leapt) and walked.

Today,”I decree a change of story in your life by the power of God. Every negative cycle that has followed you from your mother’s womb is destroyed now in Jesus’ Name.

REMEMBER THIS”: The Power of God is the answer to the multiplied challenges of life.

1. Make demands on the Power of God at the place of prayer

2. Believe in the mantle at work in the life of your pastor/prophet.

PRAYER: Lord,”I thank You for Your Word. Let Your power flow into my life today and change my destiny, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: Do not just do the convenient; do the expedient,”even when it is not convenient. Culled from PRINCIPLES AND POWER OF PRAYER by Dr Paul Enenche.

AMAZING FACT: There are more kangaroos than humans in Australia. They are the national symbol of Australia and appear on postage stamps,”coins, and aeroplanes.

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION”: Every age-long limitation on your life is broken now by the power of God in Jesus’ Name.

[5/24, 5:46 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

“…..where is he that hath taken venison, and brought it me, and I have eaten of all before thou camest, and have blessed him? yea, and he shall be blessed…” Genesis 27:33

READ: Genesis 27:27-40

27 And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the LORD hath blessed:

28 Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine:

29 Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.

30 And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting.

31 And he also had made savoury meat, and brought it unto his father, and said unto his father, Let my father arise, and eat of his son’s venison, that thy soul may bless me.

32 And Isaac his father said unto him, Who art thou? And he said, I am thy son, thy firstborn Esau.

33 And Isaac trembled very exceedingly, and said, Who? where is he that hath taken venison, and brought it me, and I have eaten of all before thou camest, and have blessed him? yea, and he shall be blessed.

34 And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry, and said unto his father, Bless me, even me also, O my father.

35 And he said, Thy brother came with subtilty, and hath taken away thy blessing.

36 And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me?

37 And Isaac answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son?

38 And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.

39 And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above;

40 And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.

A father has tremendous power over the life and destiny of his child. Any wise child will always seek to get the blessings of his father, whether biological or spiritual.

One day I had just returned from a journey with a big bag in each hand when two of my children-in-the-Lord came to welcome me. The one who got to me first just offered greetings while the other took the bags from me immediately. I turned to the one who took the bags and said “God bless you”. The other said Daddy, you did not say “God bless you to me”. I replied “You saw me carrying the bags, but didn’t help.” If you want your father to bless you, provoke him to do so.

The father’s blessing is irreversible. In our memory verse, when Isaac realized that he had blessed Jacob instead of Esau, even he could not reverse it. Once your father blesses you, you are blessed forever.

Blessing can come from the soul, heart and mouth. Jacob asked Esau to make him a delicacy so he could bless him from the soul (Genesis 27:1-7). A father can bless three of his children, but one would still be greater than the rest because of the father’s special love for him. How much does your father love you? Proverbs 10:1 says:
“The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.”

Is your father usually encouraged to pray for you or are you a child who provokes him to anger regularly? Some people hardly send money to their old parents; some hardly call them talk less of going to visit them. Treasure them. Whatever you do, ensure that you get as many blessings as possible from your father before he dies.

Do something for your father today that will provoke him to bless you. If you are a father, call your child or children and bless them from your soul.
