SCRIPTURE: Then the word of the Lord came to me saying before I formed thee in the belle I knew thee and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah 1:4-5

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If it is evil, it cannot be God. If it is not peaceful, it cannot be God, and if it is not what is expected, it cannot be God.

The word ‘destiny’ is one of the most misunderstood concepts on earth today. Some people think destiny means fate; others think that every misfortune that happens to a person is his destiny. But that is not true.

God is the force behind the destiny of man. And please note that if it is evil, it cannot be God. If it is not peaceful, it cannot be God, and if it is not what is expected, it cannot be God.

Our anchor scripture makes it clear that man’s creation was God’s decision and design. The implication of this scripture (Jeremiah 1:4-5) is:

a) No one is an accident of creation. It does not matter what process brought you into this world, you are not a biological accident or the product of a cosmic accident.

b) Man is a product of God’s deliberate intention. That settles the question of whether God loves you or not. God sat down and thoughtfully calculated that you are to exist. There is no one that came into this world as a result of God’s absent-mindedness.

c) Your parents participated but they were not the determinant of your existence. If your parents are not the determinant of your existence, then they are not permitted to define your destiny or your future. That is why what followed your parents must not necessarily follow you.

Beloved, do not look up to any human being to confirm your value. The most important opinion that matters to you should be the opinion of your Maker.

REMEMBER THIS : If it is evil, it cannot be God. If it is not peaceful, it cannot be God, and if it is not what is expected, it cannot be God.

1. Go through the study again.

2. Be aware of who you are especially what God says about you from the scriptures.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You because I am wonderfully and beautifully made. Thank You for the wonderful plans you have for my life, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

AMAZING FACT: Female kangaroos can determine the sex of their offspring. They can even delay gestation when environmental factors are likely to diminish the chance of young surviving.

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION: I decree that your God-ordained destiny shall see the light of day in Jesus’ Name.

[5/27, 6:15 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: MESSAGE FROM:

*Rev. Anthony Akinmoyo,*
Lifeway Christian Centre,

Today being 27th of May is set aside as children day, we will join other parents globally to celebrate and intercede for our children. The study and teaching on the Power of Obedience will continue tomorrow.

Hebrews 11:7 (KJV) *By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.*

Prayer preserves the heritage and blessings of God in our lives. If you don’t maintain strong altar of prayer, the heritage (children) of God in your life can be stolen or destroyed.

Psalms 127:3 (KJV) *Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.*

Noah prepared an ark for the saving of his household. I believe every believer must consciously prepare his own ark of prayer to preserve the destinies of his children.
In this crooked and perverse world, we must maintain strong altar of prayer for the preservation and manifestation of our children. They are confronted with diverse temptations and oppositions everyday that only advice or moral teaching cannot achieve the desired result. We must be willing to contend against oppositions on their behalf.

Isaiah 23:4 (KJV) *..I travail not, nor bring forth children, neither do I nourish up young men, nor bring up virgins.*

Until parents travail in prayers, they might not see their children manifest their full potentials.
One of the major targets of the devil is our seed. He knows if he can get our seed, our future is taken away and the kingdom of God will be in jeopardy because the covenant of God with us is trans-generational.

Let us not be like the ostrich, which abandons her eggs on the ground without caring that foot may crush them. We must preserve our eggs (children) at the altar of prayer.

Job 39:13-16 (KJV) [13] *Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich?*
[14] *Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust,*
[15] *And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.*
[16] *She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear;*

No evil foot shall access our children in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
Many children are wayward, school dropouts and involved in many social vices because no one is interceding for them. They are alone in the battle of life and if we don’t rise up and help them by praying for them, they might be overwhelmed.

Galatians 4:19 (KJV) *My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you.*

We must consistently travail in prayers for them so that Satan will not have any vacuum in their lives because Christ will fill their hearts.
Taking them to church is a very good thing but that is not enough, prayers must be offered constantly for them to stand perfect and fulfil their destinies in Christ.

Colossians 4:12 (KJV) *Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.*

We can draw more understanding from our patriarchs of faith who released blessings upon their children and it stands till this day.
In *Gen 49:1,* Jacob gathered all His children and decided how their future would be and that is how it is till this day. Jacob said unto Judah in verse 10 *”the sceptre shall not depart from Judah.* Many years later David was born in the tribe of Judah, also our Lord Jesus came through the tribe of Judah.
What was the source of Jacob’s strength and authority? The Bible says in Gen 32:28 *”…for as a prince has thou power with God and man and hast prevailed.* He prevailed in the realm of the spirit and his words carried indisputable authority on earth. Jacob was a man of altar (prayer).

Hosea 12:4-6 (KJV) [4] *Yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him in Beth-el, and there he spake with us;*
[5] *Even the LORD God of hosts; the LORD is his memorial.*
[6] *Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment, and wait on thy God continually.*

What our fathers of faith gave to their children as inheritance were not just cattle and houses but blessing. Same way Isaac pronounced blessings on Jacob in *Gen 27:28.* At the end, Jacob was changed from an individual to a nation, from Jacob to Isreal.
I believe your prayers will uphold the destinies of your children for good in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!

Thank you my father for the benefit of a brand new day.

Thank you my father for your mercies upon my life and family.

Nehemiah 4:14 (KJV) *And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.*

[5/27, 6:15 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. Deuteronomy 6:6-7

READ: Genesis 18:19

19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

It is most surprising that the children of Christians of the outgoing generation appear to be missing in action today. Typically, if a Christian couple had three children for example the next generation should therefore have at least three people standing for God, but this is clearly not so. Now we have worldly musicians whose parents are leaders in the church. The devil may be working hard to make the world a corrupt place, but a lot of Christian parents seem to be helping him get the job done faster. How can Christian parents dress their children in revealing clothes? Everything you introduce to your children now will be normal to them as they grow. If you are already dressing your daughter in revealing clothes now that she is little, she would most likely wear even more provocative ones when she is a teenager.

If you are a child of God, you must make sure that your children emulate you in the things you do, the way you talk and even the things you love. You instill this in them by showing them what is right and what is wrong as they grow up. Some parents go to church and leave their children at home, claiming that they don’t want to force them to serve God; they want them to grow up to love God by themselves. I pity them because they are just giving the devil a free hand with their children. Do you let the child decide if he wants to go to school or not? God said about Abraham in Genesis 18:19:
“For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD…..”

Can God say the same thing about you? Before you evangelize to the unbelievers outside, are you sure that there is no unbeliever in your home? Watch what they wear, what they say, who their friends are. Teach them to read their Bible and to pray. When you teach your children to live godly lives, you will have rest in your old age because the Holy Spirit in them will not allow them to misbehave. If you have a child who is already going wayward, I pray that he/she would encounter Christ and change for the better in the mighty name of Jesus.

Every day, as you teach them, pray for your children that they will walk in the ways of the Most High God all their lives.
