[8/4, 6:31 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: *LIFE AND FAVOUR*

*Rev, Anthony Akinmoyo,*
Lifeway Christian Centre,

Luke 1:45 (KJV)
*And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.*

Isaiah 54:2-3 (KJV)
[2] *Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;*
[3] *For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.*

It is our faith that converts the sent word (sure word of prophecy) to reality. We have been receiving a specific word for about three days as touching our shifting and lifting into greatness and honour.

I want us to know that God’s part of this deal is sure but these sent words must be met with corresponding action to prove that what we have received is equally believed. We need to be speaking of our next level and new phase to cause the prevailing power to work in us and in our affairs.

Hebrews 4:1-2 (KJV)
[1] *Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.*
[2] *For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.*

Beloved, you have heard that God is a shifter and lifter of men. He said through the mouth of His servant that this is our season of lifting and shifting, so rest upon these words. Study our teachings on shifting and lifting from Friday till date, meditate on them and rest on the sure words.

2 Chronicles 32:8 (KJV)
*With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.*

The hard truth is God will not manifest His greatness to anyone who can’t believe and trust Him.

Deuteronomy 32:20 (KJV)
*And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.*

Beloved, be expectant, full of hope, it will not be long, the glory and beauty of the Almighty will be manifesting in your life and your testimony will draw multitude to the Lord in the mighty name of Jesus!

> Thank you my heavenly Father for another day you have made.

> Thank you my God for your mercies and loving kindness towards me and my family.

> Thank you my Lord for your wonderful plan for my life.

> Thank you my Lord for shifting and lifting me into a higher height.

1. Ezekiel 11:19-20 (KJV)
[19] *And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:*
[20] *That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.*

i. O Lord my God, remove from me a stony heart of doubt and unbelief in the mighty name of Jesus!

ii. O Lord my God, put your Spirit in me and grant me an heart of flesh to put my trust in your promises in the mighty name of Jesus!

2. Jeremiah 1:12 (KJV)
*Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.*

O Lord my God, arise and hasten to perform your good purpose in my life in the mighty name of Jesus!

3. Isaiah 60:22 (KJV) *A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.*

i. O Lord my God, hasten to shift and lift me into greatness in the mighty name of Jesus!

ii. O Lord my God, let my life continually be a testimony of your greatness in the mighty name of Jesus!

4. Zechariah 4:7 (KJV)
*Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain…*

I decree and declare, every mountain between me and my prepared place of blessing and honour crumble in the mighty name of Jesus!

5. Isaiah 5:27 (KJV)
*None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:*

I decree and declare, I will not be weary in my journey to destiny fulfillment in the mighty name of Jesus!

6. Isaiah 54:3 (KJV)
*For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.*

O Lord my God, carry out your breaking forth agenda in my life in the mighty name of Jesus!

7. 1 Samuel 10:3-4 (KJV)
[3] *Then shalt thou go on forward from thence …. and there shall meet thee three men going up to God to Beth-el,…*
[4] *And they will salute thee, and give thee two loaves of bread; which thou shalt receive of their hands.*

i. In the mighty name of Jesus, I receive the ministry of my destiny helpers.

ii. I summon my destiny helpers to locate me in the mighty name of Jesus!

8. Revelation 12:15-16 (KJV)
[15] *And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.*
[16] *And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.*

Where human helpers cannot reach, I command the elements of creation to help me in the mighty name of Jesus!

9. Leviticus 26:6 (KJV) *And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.*

i. O Lord my God, grant us peace by all means in our nation and cause evil beasts to cease from our land in the mighty name of Jesus!

ii. O Lord our God, shake away all bad leaders from every level of our government in the mighty name of Jesus!

10. Psalm 33:10 (KJV)
*The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.*

O Lord my Father, frustrate the counsel of the wicked concerning my life and family in the mighty name of Jesus!

Thank you Father for working exceedingly and abundantly above all that I ask or think.

Receive my thanks and praise in the mighty name of Jesus!

See you tomorrow.
*Rejoice evermore.*
*Pray without ceasing.*

[8/4, 6:31 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: *RHAPSODY OF REALITIES*

Pastor Chris

*And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him (Luke 8:25).*

A certain young man was deathly ill, and thought he’d die. On a certain Friday evening, he was brought to me. After explaining to me what the problems were, I said to him, “See me on Sunday.”

Later on, as he shared his testimony, he said, “When Pastor Chris said to me, ‘See me on Sunday,’ I knew I wasn’t going to die before Sunday, because I’ll have to see him.” He held on to the word to see me on Sunday. We ministered to him eventually and he was miraculously restored.

That’s how to live your life on the Word of God; you take the Word that’s come to you from God and anchor your life on it; you live by it. It also brings to mind an experience between Jesus and His disciples on a certain occasion. He had said to them, “…Let us go over unto the other side of the lake…” (Luke 8:22). During the sail, it became so stormy that the disciples were terrified and cried to the Master saying, “…Master, master, we perish…” (Luke 8:24).

The Master’s response to them is what we read in our theme verse. He asked them, “Where is your faith?” His question wasn’t about the wind and the storm. Rather, He was saying, “I told you we’re going to the other side, and if I said that, then we must arrive at the other side, irrespective of the boisterous and tempestuous wind; we don’t perish on the way!” He was saying, “You should have relied on my words.”

It makes no difference what’s going on around you, refuse to be agitated. Don’t be flustered by the economic or political wind around you; live your life on God’s Word. Stay your life on His word and know that until you’ve fulfilled it, nothing can stop you; nothing can destroy you. Go about God’s business, preaching the Gospel unafraid and unintimidated. The greater One lives in you. Hallelujah!

I’m completely yielded to the ministry of the Word, and through study and meditation, the Word mingles with my spirit, producing in me the message it carries. I respond to situations and circumstances from the standpoint of the Word. Therefore, I live victoriously every day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

[8/4, 6:31 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

Proverbs 10:14 “Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.”

READ: Psalm 90:12
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

It is wise to learn from the experience of others, but sometimes, we ourselves have experiences we ought to learn from. Nebuchadnezzar was a man who learnt from his personal experience. God had warned him in a dream and also arranged for Daniel not only to interpret the dream to him, but also to counsel him on how to escape the wrath of God. Unfortunately, he did not heed the warning and for seven years, he ate grass like an animal (Daniel 4). Thank God he got a second chance. By the time he came back to his senses, he had learnt his lessons and recognised Jehovah as the real King. Nobody needed to teach him that again; his experience had done enough. Daniel 4:34 says:

“And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:”

There are however, some foolish people who refuse to either learn from the experience of others or even theirs. Such people usually never live to tell the story. King Pharaoh for example, should have realised, at least by the third plague, that the God of Israel is not a God to fight. Little wonder God hardened his heart afterwards and he did not realise this truth even after the tenth plague and his eventual death (Exodus 9).

Many people talk about the foolishness of Pharaoh, but some are doing the same thing. How can someone who committed adultery and lost some privileges from that act still go back into it? How can someone who stole and was imprisoned come out and steal again? For people who refuse to learn from personal experience, the end will be disastrous if they don’t repent and forsake their sins. A word is enough for the wise.

Learn from your past experiences and those of others. Remember Lot’s wife.

2 Kings 22-23
2 Chronicles 34-35

1. My faith looks up to Thee,
Thou Lamb of Calvary,
Saviour divine!
Now hear me while I pray,
Take all my guilt away,
Oh, let me from this day
Be wholly Thine!

2. May Thy rich grace impart
Strength to my fainting heart,
My zeal inspire!
As Thou hast died for me,
Oh, may my love to Thee
Pure, warm, and changeless be,
A living fire!

3. While life’s dark maze I tread,
And griefs around me spread,
Be Thou my guide;
Bid darkness turn to day,
Wipe sorrow’s tears away,
Nor let me ever stray
From Thee aside.

4. When ends life’s transient dream,
When death’s cold, sullen stream
Shall o’er me roll;
Blest Saviour, then in love,
Fear and distrust remove;
Oh, bear me safe above,
A ransomed soul!

[8/4, 6:31 AM] Pastor Emmanuel Oshevire: *SEEDS OF DESTINY*

SCRIPTURE: And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Matthew 24:12.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The epidemic of backsliding is a sign of the end time.

It is a fact that a major feature of the end time is the growing lack of passion for God (Matt. 24:12). Due to the escalation of iniquity, the love for both God and people has waxed cold today. Spiritual coldness has also become a major plague wreaking havoc in the lives of many Christians in this end time.

Now, there are signs of spiritual coldness. There are symptoms to show low spiritual temperature. In our study today, we shall look at the state of people with low spiritual temperature.

One sign of low spiritual temperature is struggle with one’s spirituality. This struggle usually culminates in backsliding or pulling back from the faith. The epidemic of backsliding is a sign of the end time.

Today, a sister who was once strong in the Lord can backslide to a point of marrying an unbeliever. And she will no longer be able to maintain her Christian testimony. The abundance of iniquity has caused her love for God to wax cold, thereby making her to backslide.

There was a man who used to be impactful for God, but backslid. His wife quarrelled with him and pushed him out of the house, and into the hands of “Jezebels”. Suddenly, this once impactful man of God began to go out with different women and eventually contracted HIV/AIDS and died. It was a very sad day for me when I heard of his tragic end. I wept as I saw this once lively brother lay lifeless like a stick.

Sometime ago, I talked to a young man who said to me, “Sir, I was so heavily anointed in the past that I made great impact. I could lay hands on people and see unusual results but now, I see myself doing things that I am ashamed of telling anyone about”. Now, this same young man smokes and drinks at alcoholic joints. Some of the people he once preached to, asked him: “Are you not the person who used to be on fire for God?” He denied, and told them that he was not the same person they knew. This was because his life then and his life now are two worlds apart. This shall not be your portion in Jesus’ Name.

Beloved, my counsel to you is, refuse to be carried away by the spiritual lethargy of this age. Make up your mind to remain on fire for God always.

Remember this: The epidemic of backsliding is a sign of the end time.

1. Make up your mind not to let your spiritual fire reduce.
2. Resist every habit and practice that will reduce your fire and spiritual intensity in God.
3.Take a periodic “consecrational” fast to remain on fire for God.

PRAYER: 🙏👸🤴 O Lord, thank You for Your Word to me today. I ask for the grace to maintain my fire intensity always, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: To see His intervention in your life and in your Ministry, endure to the end. To give up is to miss it completely. Culled from, “MAKING FULL PROOF OF MINISTRY” by Dr Paul Enenche.
