TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 01
*Everything You Need is in Jesus*
*Matthew 11:27 ( AMP ), John 16:15 ( AMP )*
*All things have been entrusted and delivered to me by My Father; and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Son except the Father, and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son deliberately wills to make Him known. *Everything that the Father has is Mine. That is what I meant when I said that He ( the Spirit ) will take the things that are Mine and will reveal ( declare, disclose, transmit ) it to you.*
When Jesus met the woman by the well , He did not really want water from her. He wanted to give her living water , John 4:9-14. Water that will satisfy her in every area of her life and overflow from her into the lives of others . This living water is the Life and Spirit of Christ. When you have Jesus, you have everything. Jesus said, “The Father loves his Son and has put everything in his power ,” John 3: 35 . Jesus said all power in Heaven and on earth has been given unto Him , Matthew 28:18 . The power you need for every area of your life is in Jesus and you have His Life and Spirit in you. You have what it takes to be fruitful and productive in every area of your life. In Psalms 16:5, David said , “You, LORD, are all I have , and you give me all I need; my future is in your hands.”
Unlike the woman with the issue of blood that had to touch the garment of Jesus. Ephesians 5: 30 says , “….we are members of his body, of his flesh , and of his bones.” His virtue is flowing all over us. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is alive and at work in us. Together with Christ. God has freely given you all things, Romans 8:31. Because of Jesus, you are enriched in all things, 1 Corinthians 1:5, 2 Corinthians 9:11. Apostle Paul said, “And with all his abundant wealth through Christ Jesus, my God will supply all your needs,” Philippians 4:19 ( GNB ). God is your sufficiency, 2 Corinthians 3:5. God is able to make all grace abound towards you so that you will always have all sufficiency in all things and you will abound to every good work, 2 Corinthians 9:8. In every area of your life, you are complete in Him, Colossians 2:9. Nothing shall be impossible for you. He is the vine and we are the branches. Without Him we can do nothing. As we abide in Him , we bear much fruit in every area of our lives, John 15:5.
Heavenly Father, I thank you that everything is in Jesus and by the virtue of His Life and Spirit in me, I have all things and I can do all things.

DATE: TUESDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER 2020.
THEME: HIS ARMS ARE WIDE OPEN.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
READ: Luke 15:11-32
11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:
12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.
14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.
15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.
17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.
26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.
27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.
28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.
29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.
32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
If you extend your hands to someone for a handshake, the person would most likely decline if his/her hand is dirty. Naturally, humans avoid staining clean people. However, God does not operate that way. He is willing to give you a hug even when you are dirty.
The father of the prodigal son for example, did not ask him to take a bath before he could embrace him. He saw his son from afar and ran to meet him (Luke 15:11-32). The woman with the issue of blood had been bleeding for twelve years. She may have been smelly, the doctors might have taken all her earnings and left her wearing rags but she chose to touch Jesus- the One everyone was celebrating. Considering her state, ordinarily, she may not have wanted to come close, but she did! She probably felt too dirty to speak, so she decided to just touch the hem of His garment. She did not stay away totally because she was dirty. She made the move and He did not reject her; He even prayed for her (Luke 8:43-48).
The countless sins you have committed- stealing, adultery, fornication, or even murder may make you feel dirty. So, you may even think God cannot accept you anymore. Listen, He is waiting for you to take just one step towards Him. There is no sin too big for the blood of Jesus to cleanse, neither is there any sinner too guilty for Him to forgive.
You might not be able to pray unhindered if you are still feeling dirty. In this case, you have to first pray for forgiveness. All He needs is genuine repentance and He will do the rest.
“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you…” James 4:8
All He requires is that you take a step towards Him and He will do the rest. Even if you have entered into a covenant with the devil and sold your soul to him, God is able to help you. He remains the same; he still sets the lawful captive free (Isaiah 49:24-46).
His arms are still wide open. Come to Him now when He is near (Isaiah 49:24-46). Don’t wait until it would be too late.
Spread the good news of God’s unconditional love and if you have sinned, come to Him as you are. His arms are still wide open.

HYMN 7: GREAT IS THEY FAITHFULNESS.
Great is thy faithfulness, O God my father,
There is no shadow of turning with thee:
Thou changest not, thy compassions, they fail not;
As thou hast been thou for ever wilt be.
“Great is thy faithfulness! Great is thy faithfulness!”
Morning by morning new mercies I see:
All I have needed thy hand hath provided—
“Great is thy faithfulness,” Lord unto me!
Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside.

LIVE FOR CHRIST.
Tuesday, September 1st.
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may Live (Deuteronomy 30:19).
There re Christians who are fretful about the rapture, uncertain about their eternal security. The Lord doesn’t want us to live in such fear or anxiety. The truth is, eternal security is real for the one who as born again, but it at conditioned on your living the Christ-life, living in His righteousness until the end.
If, for example, someone who as been born again, changes his mind later about following Jesus, such a person is in trouble, because his eternal security with God is in jeopardy. When you’re born again, you’re born into God’s presence; you live in God’s presence. He’s your Protector. He keeps you, and no one is able to pluck you out of His hand, according to the Scriptures.
However, life is full of choices. You are the one to make a choice to live for Him continually. When God guides us, He presents us with the options, and then He also tells us what to choose. But He doesn’t force us in the choices we make, though He lets us understand the consequences of making the wrong choices.
What you must do, therefore, is to live according to His Word. That as the simplest thing ever. When you’re born again, living for Christ is the most natural thing to do with your new nature in Christ. Living right is so natural to you that you have to be tempted to do wrong. This is also where the ministry of the Holy Spirit comes in. The Holy Spirit helps you live the Christian life, and with Him in your life, you never have to worry about missing your way.
Moreover, the Bible says Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy (Jude 1:24). As you live for the Lord, serving Him passionately with absolute conviction, He’ll fulfil His purpose and ministry in your life.
I live purposefully, fulfilling my ministry and calling in Christ Jesus. I refuse to allow anything take my attention away from the Lord and His eternal Kingdom. I am not slothful in business; I am fervent in spirit, serving the Lord, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I’ve received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the Gospel of the grace of God. Hallelujah!
2 Peter 1:5-112* :5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; :6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; :7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. :8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. :9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. :10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: :11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

*The components of effective prayers*
*Text:* Matt 6:9-13
_”In this manner, therefore, pray: our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen”_
*# Effective prayers entail REQUEST #*
The Bible says, _”Give us this day our daily bread.”_ One of the cardinal elements of effective prayers is to recognise God as your source. You come to God in prayers with the mindset of dependence on Him for your daily supply. Ps 68:19 tells us that, _”Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation! Selah.”_ It is the Lord God who supplies and meets our daily needs. It is with this in mind that you pray, _”Give me this day my daily bread.”_ Note that your faith will be on who you make your request to!
In Matt 7:7, the Bible makes it clear saying, _”Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”_ We ask, seek and knock in the place of prayers. Effective prayer is a time of making our requests known to God. Some people have wondered why we need to ask God for our needs. It is a Divine order for you to ask if you want to receive, to seek if you want to find and to knock if you want the door to be opened unto you.
Jesus told the disciples, _”Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”_(John 16:24). There is joy in answered prayers. When you pray and you receive answers to your request, your joy will be full. There are certain things that you will never have if you don’t ask for them in prayers. Be specific when you make your requests before God in prayer. Vague prayers will rob you of God’s best for you. But being specific and detailed about your needs is the way to access the joy of answered prayer. _”So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.”_ (Mark 10:51). The Master knew that he was blind, but asked him what he wanted!
You must make your request in faith, without any doubt whatsoever. James said, _”But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.”_(James 1:6). You must have faith in the ability of God to answer your prayers and more importantly, in His willingness to do so. When a leper asked Jesus to heal him if He willed, the Master responded saying, _”I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.”_( Matt 8:3). God is able and willing to answer your prayers.
” _You are cleaned by the word that I have spoken unto you”_ John 15:3_

*TOTAL TRANSFORMATION 1*
*Text: “And Joseph knew his brethren, but they knew not him.”Gen 42:8*
I want to welcome you to another month and another series of life transforming words. Fasten your seat belts as we go on another Holy Ghost inspired adventure in the word.
Joseph left home over a decade ago. His cloth of many colours were torn and soaked in the blood of an animal to disguise his death. He was sold like an animal into Egypt. The last time his brothers saw him there was nothing special about him. Several years later they saw him but could not recognise him. The transformation was so much that they could not recognise him. If his case had grown worse its possible they would have recognised him. Here was Joseph now a governor over the most powerful nation at that time. The last time his brothers saw him there was no cloths on his back perhaps; but now he was dressed in royal apparel. Several years ago there was a rope on his neck so he will not escape now he was having a golden chain on his neck. Several years back he was walking bear footed now he rides in the best chariots in the land.
The transformation is as heaven is above the earth. It was a total transformation. The same dimension of transformation is available for us as we diligently and wholeheartedly follow God. A genuine encounter with God does not leave a man or woman on the same spot or level. One major secret to this total transformation in the life of Joseph is what the book of psalms revealed to us years down the line. Ps 105:19 says “Until the time his word came; the word of the Lord tried him.” This was all that led to the series of the transformations in the life of Joseph. I strongly believe that a transformation is taking place in the life of someone this month as you apply your heart to God’s word in this material.
Lord I declare that your word is working in me and changing me from glory to glory.

My Case Is Different
You will laugh at destruction and famine. You will not be afraid of wild animals! It is as if you have a peace treaty with the wild animals and the rocks in the field. You will live in peace because your tent is safe. You will count your property and find nothing missing. You will have many children. They will be as many as the blades of grass on earth. You will be like the wheat that grows until harvest time. Yes, you will live to a ripe old age. We have studied this and know it is true. So listen to us, and learn for yourself.
Job 5:22–27 [ERV]
It’s expedient that you lift up holy hands wherever you are reading this in gratitude to God who has brought you and I alive to see the first day in the month of September 2020. Life is the greatest gift God has given us. Every other gift a man can have – money, cars, houses, positions, name it, is only useful when you have the gift of life. David concluded his psalms by saying “let everything that has breadth praise the Lord”(Psa 150:5). It doesn’t matter what has happened in the past if God has kept you alive in spite of them, it’s because He’s not through with you yet. His mercies over you are new every new day.
God’s Word is all you need to have all your needs met and His Word has come expressly to us for the month of September. God’s Word to us is found in our anchor text for this month. It doesn’t matter how bad things may get in the world, there is adequate plan of exemption for all His children. Hardship is not new. There was hardship in the time of Abraham that he had to relocate to Egypt because of famine. There was severe famine in the time of Isaac and God instructed him to remain in Philistine. Even in the time of Jacob, there was still famine that he had to send his children to Egypt to buy food. In the time of Joseph, there was famine too and in the time of Jesus, there was no food in the wilderness. In the above cases, God ensured that He separated His own.
Therefore, what is happening now is not new. If God exempted his own in the midst of hardship, then the time of your exemption has come! Therefore by the authority in the Name of Jesus and the infallible power of His Word the month of September for you and I and everyone connected to us is our month of My Case Is Different.
The mark of exemption which is the seal of the Blood of Jesus comes permanently on you and everyone connected to you from today. In the Name of Jesus, a thousand may fall at your side, even ten thousand at your right but not one evil will come near you and everyone connected to you. No matter how many businesses and vocation collapse yours is exempted. No business owner today will beg for employment tomorrow. From today in every battle you will always have the upper hand. Your going out and your coming in are blessed. Your household is blessed with peace. You and everyone connected to you are divinely exempted from pandemic. Beginning from today, you will never weep over anyone in your family and no one will weep over you in Jesus Mighty Name. It shall be a September to remember for good for you and your loved ones in Jesus Mighty Name.
I welcome you to September, My Case Is Different.
Father in the Name of Jesus I thank You for making me and my family to see the month of September. I believe and I take possession of Your promises of divine exemption for me and I decree by the authority in the Name of Jesus that My Case Is Different.
KEEP IN MIND
It doesn’t matter how bad things may get for others, your case is different.
