(THIREDLY) STUDING THE WORD OF GOD AND MENDITATING ON IT
The word of God is the principle of God which give way to learning God of his might , way of operations, wills, his nature, proclamations, his kingdom, desire for man and all other areas of his personality. Learning God is knowing God leading to linking God which is the paramount need of every living soul to be able to alien himself to God. This is one express way of benefiting God provisions in elevating humanity. There is a popular saying in our society knowledge is power and waiting man no know big pass man, beloved until you learn God you cannot discover yourself, I mean your real self because learning God is learning yourself and if you could do it with the mind of knowing God, you could recover your peace, rest of mind recovering of one personality, authority to reign and rule the affair of life with it challenges
For the Scripture is a firm foundation that never changes. Rather, it is a commentary on the state of our own heart and the many life circumstances that we bring to the throne of grace:
Some days, it appeared rejoicing: “Praise God for who he is and all he has done!”
Other days, like being tired and weary, seek him our Lord, come near to us and help us , wepray.”
And yet other days, particularly thirsty: “My soul thirsts for him; my body longs for him, as in a dry and weary land.”
How do you come? Despite our attitudes or feelings, despite the kind of days or nights we’ve had, the key is that we come depending. Come ready. Come to the fount where wisdom, and life, and truth are found which is the word of God
Come to the sure and steady Word because it is the only firm foundation upon which we can stand. Nothing else compares, and nothing else assures our hearts like Scripture does. Nothing else points us to Christ like the Word, itself.
1.Oh lord give me life according to your word!” (Psalm 119:25).in thy name of Jesus
2. My father my father strengthens our weary bones and give life, O Lord, according to your word (Psalm 119:107).
3. oh Lord arise and redirect our wayward gaze, turn my eyes from looking at worthless things, and give life to our ways” (Psalm 119:37).
