The world is of two kinds of people – critics and problem-solvers. The critics are quick to condemn, without offering any solution regarding the object of their grievance. Even when they have to commend something, (which they reluctantly do with reasons they never have at the time they do what they did), because they have judgmental spirit that make them unsatisfied, ingrates, full of complains and accusations, always tagging people, holding a point of argument as their own version in trying to talk them self into people as master right to inferior others effort which they say, “Well, I like so-and-so, but I didn’t like that other thing.” They always find something to complain about! On the other hand, the problem solvers always ask themselves the question, “How can I make things better and always see what they can do to get things right not looking at wrong and peoples weakness.
Jesus was a problem-solver. When He was told that the wine had finished at the marriage in Cana (John 2), He didn’t say, “How could the wine finish before the end of the party? What kind of poor party organization is this? Not my Jesus! He solved the problem. When the multitude that came to hear Him was hungry and all they had were five loaves and two fishes (Matthew 14), He didn’t complain, “How could these people not have made proper feeding arrangements?” He solved the problem!
You too must realize that the power to make positive changes in the world around you lies within you; if you don’t like the way something is, don’t complain and murmur – change it!
Critics and complainers never make any lasting impact in the world. Rather, it’s the problem-solvers that the world is looking for and God’s people have been called to be just that! T.L Osborn said that success begins when you look out for a human need and reach out to meet that need, and it’s so true.
Instead of criticizing and complaining, ask yourself, “What can I do to solve this problem?” Don’t ever find yourself on the bandwagon of the critics and complainers. Learn to appreciate instead of criticize; learn to solve problems instead of complain. Remember that you are a change – agent; you should leave things better than the way you met them.
